I Am Scouted by Real Madrid

Chapter 477: Chapter 89: I’m Very Hungry

But compared to the poor performance of Lensing, whom Bayern Munich originally wanted to promote after legendary goalkeeper Kahn retired, the man intended to be the second goalkeeper, Butt, unexpectedly started to look ”attractive.”

It’s worth mentioning that many people know about Bayer Leverkusen’s ”runner-up king” past, but don’t know that the team’s main goalkeeper was Butt.

Butt is now Bayern Munich’s main goalkeeper, and he cherishes this opportunity very much.

Outside the Santiago Bernabeu Stadium

Real Madrid fans dressed in white jerseys arrive one after another, raising banners, shouting slogans, and singing songs to express their support for the team, even clashing with some Bayern Munich fans.

And in the players’ tunnel, many reporters stretch out microphones, vying to interview the passing players, coaches, or staff.

This match obviously received a lot of attention.

”Ladies and gentlemen of the audience!”

”The match between Barcelona and Inter Milan has just ended.”

”In the second leg, facing the strict defense of Inter Milan, Barcelona only managed to score one goal.”

”Inter Milan eliminated Barcelona and advanced to the Champions League final!”

”It’s worth noting that in this match, Busquets made a controversial move, which led to Inter Milan’s Motta receiving a second yellow card.”

”But Mourinho’s Inter Milan still used tenacious defense to help the team successfully advance to the next round!”

Motta received the second yellow card, making Mourinho angry. As he looked at Busquets, still sneaking glances on the turf, he responded to the cheers of Barcelona’s fans with sarcastic applause.

”I told you long ago!”

”Be careful at Camp Nou.”

”Or you’ll see some dramatic scenes.”

”Now, it’s happened!”

Mourinho had already warned the team, but Busquets exaggeratedly fell to the ground, clutching his face, simply because of body contact with Motta during Inter Milan’s high pressing.

This really was hard for Mourinho to accept!

This action also resulted in Motta being sent off with a red card, leaving him short of a key player for a potential final, and making Mourinho furious!

Therefore, after the match, Mourinho celebrated crazily.

Mourinho’s wild celebration at Camp Nou left many Barcelona fans displeased, but it satisfied some Real Madrid fans.

Pellegrini is really too ”quiet,” if possible, they’d prefer a coach like Mourinho with passion.

Of course, the premise is that his tactics need to be more attractive.

At the post-match press conference, Mourinho was very excited, facing the cameras he said it was the greatest moment of his career.

Meanwhile, when faced with questions about whether this season will be his last coaching season in Italy, he firmly stated: ”I love Inter Milan very much, but I have no love for Italian football.”

This statement was seen by many as a signal that he might leave, and some reports claimed Real Madrid was in contact with Mourinho.

If Mourinho could ultimately lead Inter Milan to a Triple Crown, then given that his other competitors basically have contracts, he is very likely to become Real Madrid’s new head coach.

Pellegrini’s performance this season is still quite good, but he and the team’s higher-ups, especially Florentino, have disagreements, and he doesn’t have the aura of a top club coach; his tactical approach has failed to leverage the team’s advantages. It’s clear for everyone that his dismissal is just a matter of time.

Mourinho defeated Guardiola, Inter Milan eliminated Barcelona, and if he wins the Triple Crown, this European champion coach, this madman!

Would undoubtedly have a ticket to the Bernabeu.

Even if Pellegrini wins the league and King’s Cup, it’s hard to compete with Mourinho on this matter.

Because Real Madrid wants only the very best.

Pellegrini is clearly not good enough!

In fact, Mourinho’s provocative post-match celebration also broke down the last barrier between him and Real Madrid, as well as his personal emotional connection with Barcelona.

He even straightforwardly expressed before the cameras: ”I respect Barcelona, I will never forget what the club gave in my four years here. Clearly, at the end of my career, there will be no experience of coaching Barcelona.”

Mourinho obviously couldn’t accept the experience at the time when he gained fame and became ”the Special One,” came full of sincerity to interview for the Barcelona head coach position but was eliminated, replaced by the youth team coach Guardiola.

Although Guardiola did a good job.

Leading Barcelona to become ”Six Crown King” in his first season, but clearly, if he led the team, such achievements would also have been attainable.

Barcelona’s elimination has increased the attention to this match.

More Spaniards have turned their attention here.

After all, at the national level, Real Madrid is the last Spanish team with hope to make it to the finals.
