I Am Scouted by Real Madrid

Chapter 470: Chapter 85: Leading the Frontline 2

After C. Ronaldo got the ball, he didn’t engage with Pique, having once been a midfielder himself, he naturally possessed passing skills and vision. With one cross, he sent the ball into the Barcelona penalty area.

”Iniesta lost the ball in the backfield.”

”C. Ronaldo crosses.”

”To the middle!”

”Scramble for the point!”

Negredo also scrambled for points several times in this match, although he is one of the rare power-forward center forwards in Spanish Football, his height is only 186CM, so his impact is slightly insufficient.

He is always at a slight disadvantage in the duel with the defensive line.

This time, however, Real Madrid’s center forward is Chen Zhong.

Ziglinsky appeared once again in a critical position, he stretched out his hand to pull Chen Zhong, while also using his body against Chen Zhong, but during the pulling process, he instead lost balance and fell to the ground.

A small number of Barcelona fans in the stands protested, believing it was definitely a foul!

However, the referee made no indication.

The defensive player was the first to use his hand, and the attacking player merely ”responded.”

When Ziglinsky fell to the ground, Valdes felt despair within. He dared to stretch his leg to block C. Ronaldo’s powerful shot, but didn’t dare to block Chen Zhong’s powerful shot.

Even seeing Chen Zhong’s ”ferocious-looking” appearance brought a slight hint of fear in his heart.

This man is a terrifying existence who once broke a goalkeeper’s leg with a single powerful shot!

Chen Zhong’s point-snatching awareness, strong physique, and nimble running position at this moment had a wonderful chemical reaction with C. Ronaldo’s pass.

Everyone’s eyes were focused on Chen Zhong, and even a special close-up was ready for him.

Everyone saw Valdes with an expression of near martyr-like bravery, and Chen Zhong raising his powerful leg.

He’s about to shoot!

About to shoot!

Valdes gritted his teeth, hardened his heart, and with a wide stance, flung himself boldly in front of Chen Zhong.

This posture essentially blocked most of Chen Zhong’s angles.

However, the expected heavy strike did not happen.

”Fake shot!”

”Fooled the goalkeeper.”

”Then a lob!”

”Effortless and casual!”

”So calm.”

”So composed.”

”So elegant!”

”3:3”

”Real Madrid has equalized the score!”

”Chen Zhong has completed another hat trick!”

”This is the fourth hat trick he has completed this season!”

”At the same time, his goal count has reached 36.”

”With 7 rounds left in the league.”

”We can look forward to him breaking the 40 goal mark in the league.”

This was an ending no one anticipated, in that kind of situation where Barcelona besieged from all directions, players facing the goalkeeper.

They all thought Chen Zhong would deliver a heavy cannon shot in mid-air, after all, he has always been such a figure in people’s minds, but Chen Zhong even deceived the cameras.

After scoring, Chen Zhong quickly ran towards the corner flag.

You leap high, and the waiting Real Madrid fans cheered your name the moment you landed, you pointed to yourself, looking around, seemingly saying.

...

After losing this goal, Guardiola made another substitution adjustment, subbing out the apparently ”dazed” Ziglinsky and bringing on the experienced Max.

Hesitating for a while, Guardiola substituted Yaya Toure for the somewhat exhausted Keita.

With Yaya Toure and Busquets, Barcelona’s midfield evidently became more sturdy.

Yaya Toure came on clearly with a mission, engaging multiple times in physical confrontations with Chen Zhong, and in this particular match, the over-exerted Chen Zhong was clearly not Yaya Toure’s match.

This scene also made Pellegrini on the sideline’s eyes light up.

He seems to have found another super midfielder comparable to Chen Zhong.

In the 76th minute, Chen Zhong lost the ball under the double team of Yaya Toure and Max.

Although Max’s physique isn’t tall, his balance is particularly stable, blocking in front like a stubborn stone, difficult to break on the first attempt.

And Yaya Toure’s arrival was like the straw that broke the camel’s back, causing the somewhat exasperated Chen Zhong to stumble and lose the ball.

The ball quickly reached Xavi’s feet, Messi effortlessly bypassed Pirlo, rushed into the left side of the penalty area, and took a powerful left-footed shot in an attempt to break through Real Madrid’s goal.

However, Casillas performed excellently, making a dive to keep the ball out.

At this moment, everyone realized the shift in the team’s offense and defense.

In the 78th minute, Baptista began to show his old habits from his Arsenal days.

At that time, Wenger originally wanted this player with a physique similar to Vieira to be a replacement for Vieira, but his rough performance on defense was truly appalling.

In this defensive process, he was clearly standing on the ball’s path, but accidentally let the ball slip through.

Messi turned and caught the ball under his feet, facing the tackling Pepe, used a nutmeg to pass his opponent.

Then charged all the way into the penalty area.

Faced with Casillas, his low shot was blocked.

This scene also made Pellegrini on the sideline break out in a cold sweat.

Afterward, both teams had offensive and defensive exchanges, with the final score settled at 3:3.

Real Madrid was held to a draw by Barcelona at home in this match.
