I Am Scouted by Real Madrid

Chapter 335: Chapter 24: Slam Dunk Over Your Head!

The Santiago Bernabeu Stadium truly deserves its five-star ranking.

Although a light drizzle was falling from the sky, there was not a trace of water accumulation on the field.

After Milan conceded a goal to Real Madrid, not only did they refuse to surrender, they even dared to counterattack.

And Ronaldinho, disregarding the fact that he’s out of shape, still wanted to show off his skills. Yes, he did nutmeg Baptista, but Baptista’s strong physique made sure the ball went through, but not the man.

After Real Madrid regained possession, they quickly passed the ball to Chen Zhong, who positioned himself to receive the ball and forcibly turned, knocking down Ambrosini who attempted to defend.

Ambrosini’s ”desperation” seemed more like a spice to Chen Zhong.

The more you resist, the more excited I get.

Milan quickly concentrated heavy forces in the middle, but Real Madrid’s play was very flexible. After Chen Zhong got the ball, he passed it to Granero on the flank.

When Milan thought Granero would pass back to Chen Zhong, Granero took the ball and directly advanced forward.

”Real Madrid’s play is very clever.”

”Granero takes the ball.”

”Milan’s defense is very tight.”

”A lob?”

”Aaaaah!”

At the start, Real Madrid played ground passing and possession, but Granero’s lob pass to the side drove Leonardo on the sidelines crazy.

The ball curved into Milan’s penalty area.

Chen Zhong, Negredo, Higuain, and Kaka all cut into Milan’s penalty area diagonally.

In the penalty area, Chen Zhong jumped high, overpowering Thiago Silva, completing a powerful ”dunk” header over him. The ball shook off the water droplets on it, just like a swallow returning home, crashing into the dead angle of the goal.

2:0

Less than 10 minutes into the game, Real Madrid scored again.

Facing a Milan defense line without a single player over 190CM, Chen Zhong perfectly showcased his aerial dominance.

”Power over Mount Tai!”

”Header goal!”

”Beautiful! Chen Zhong displayed his air supremacy.”

”He completed a beautiful header over Thiago Silva.”

”The goalkeeper had no choice but to watch the ball enter the net.”

”2:0!”

”Finally!”

”Two months into the new season, Real Madrid has finally found the playing style that suits them best.”

”We can see how happy the Real Madrid fans in the stands are!”

On the field, after scoring, Chen Zhong did not celebrate, but instead put his hands together to apologize to the Milan fans. A small section of Milan fans booed, some were expressionless, and the rest applauded Chen Zhong.

Leonardo looked at the scene in front of him, his face seemed to wear a mask of pain, Real Madrid had already found their weak point, and there was nothing they could do about it.

At the 15-minute mark, Milan finally attempted a shot.

Before being knocked down by Chen Zhong, Ambrosini passed the ball to Guti. Guti received the ball, stopped it on the familiar Bernabeu field, and then drove it forward.

After building momentum, he tried a long-range shot to test his luck.

Unfortunately, the ball flew directly into the stands.

”In this match, Real Madrid displayed a form they didn’t have before.”

”They can control the ball in midfield, pass and cut on the flanks, and even launch high crosses.”

”They are playing very comfortably and freely.”

”The team’s attack is like a tide, wave after wave.”

”Milan clearly has no resistance to this type of Real Madrid.”

Real Madrid’s offensive was surging like a tide, and Milan could only barely resist this onslaught, while the commentators praised the state Real Madrid showed in this match.

Even Pellegrini standing on the sideline was somewhat dazed, thinking: ”Am I really dragging this team down?”

”The match reached the 20th minute.”

”Chen Zhong took the ball in the middle and passed it to the right, Granero didn’t touch the ball.”

”Ramos took the ball and quickly pushed forward.”

”Real Madrid pressed up across the board.”

”Everyone knew what they wanted to do!”

A ”white line” advanced into the depths of the red and black, as Ramos delivered a high ball cross on the right, a lone figure in white broke through the red and black.

Chen Zhong, it’s Chen Zhong again!

The camera focused on this moment.

Under Chen Zhong’s torso, Thiago Silva’s face flushed red, with his head bowed, being overpowered by Chen Zhong.

”Boom!”

Head and ball made full contact, powerfully heading towards the goal.

Dida’s fingertips touched the ball and it deflected into the goal.

3:0

The Merengues in the stands waved their scarves and raised their arms, celebrating wantonly.

Meanwhile, Milan fans looked at each other in disbelief. Last season, they relied on Chen Zhong time and again to defeat strong opponents, and numerous corners and free kicks resulted in Chen Zhong’s header bombardments blasting open the opponent’s defenses.

They pressed forward from being underestimated to ultimately winning the Serie A and Europa League titles.

But now...

Chen Zhong is the opponent, and we have no means against his headers; he keeps dunking on us.

The entire Milan defense line couldn’t even muster one player over 190CM.

Leonardo stood on the sidelines, his entire face as black as the bottom of a pot, while online, many directly changed Leonardo’s name from ”Lei” to ”Cai Ji” (meaning ”rookie”).
