I Married the President

Chapter 433: Chapter 433: Don’t Be Nervous

”I see!” Claire Sinclair smiled mischievously. ”Mr. Quincy, I get the feeling Faye has a thing for Frank Morgan. If they got together, would you support them?”

Adrian Quincy nodded. ”I never interfere in my subordinates’ personal lives.”

”That’s a relief. I truly hope Faye can find her own happiness.”

”Kind-hearted people never have trouble finding their Mr. Right.”

’Yikes. An unexpected dose of cheesy life advice.’

At that moment, the sun in the west grew dimmer, and the last sliver of red was about to vanish from the horizon.

Claire Sinclair was getting a little sleepy. ”Mr. Quincy, I’d like to go back now.”

Adrian Quincy took her small hand and led her back to the changing area. Before they separated, he told her, ”You’re coming back with me tonight.”

Unfortunately, he walked into the men’s changing room right after saying that, leaving Claire Sinclair to wonder if he meant flying back to Meridia City together or going back to his hotel together.

Claire Sinclair quickly changed and came out. Adrian Quincy was already waiting for her, so she immediately went over to ask, ”Mr. Quincy, are we flying back together, or am I going back to your place with you?”

”You want to go back to your friend’s place?”

”Um... no, I want to go with you.”

’Alright, she had to admit she was prioritizing her man over her friends, but she just really, *really* wanted to be with him. She didn’t want to be apart from him for even a second.’

The corners of Adrian Quincy’s lips curved up slightly. ”Even though this honeymoon is a bit short, I’ll do my best to make it one you’ll never forget.”

”Unforgettable in what way?” Claire Sinclair was instantly filled with anticipation.

Adrian Quincy slowly lowered his head and whispered something in her ear.

Claire Sinclair’s face instantly turned bright red. She whispered, ”That’s... so kinky...”

”Claire, in a place like this, we’re just an ordinary newlywed couple. This is our first honeymoon. I can’t let you go home empty-handed.”

”Then I’ll make a wish that I get pregnant with our baby tonight!”

”Let’s go. We’ll have dinner on the plane.” ’That way, we can make the most of our time.’

Thinking about his suggestion, Claire Sinclair’s mind began to wander.

’Suddenly, she was really looking forward to tonight.’

-

The hotel Adrian Quincy was staying at was, without a doubt, Meridia City’s most luxurious and secure: the Seven Stars Hotel.

The moment Claire Sinclair stepped into the ostentatiously luxurious presidential suite, she eagerly ran out onto the balcony. Gazing at the night view from 102 floors up, she felt as if she could see the entire world spread out beneath her.

”It’s so beautiful!” Claire Sinclair exclaimed.

Adrian Quincy walked to her side, a hint of tenderness in his demeanor.

”Claire, our homeland is even more beautiful than this.”

”Of course it is! Even if Aridia were nothing but a pile of mud, I’d still think it’s more beautiful than any other country!”

Claire Sinclair had always found her own country beautiful. In any case, she had always scoffed at those who blindly worshipped everything foreign.

Adrian Quincy wrapped his arm around her slender waist, sharing the unfamiliar night view with her. His voice was gentle. ”Claire, I’m very much looking forward to our future. Do you have any thoughts on it?”

”Me?” Claire Sinclair thought for a moment. ”I don’t dare to dream of a future that’s too perfect. I’m afraid I won’t work hard enough to deserve it. But I’ll do my best to keep up with you. Even if I can’t help share your burdens, I’ll at least try not to be someone you have to worry about.”

”On the contrary, I hope you’ll feel free to do as you please. It wouldn’t even matter if you upset me.”

”Huh?”

”No one’s perfect. Everyone makes mistakes. If I ever do something wrong, please don’t hesitate to call me out on it.”

”Deal! I definitely won’t hold back!”

...

When she woke up, she was alone in bed, and an annoying alarm was blaring nonstop.
