I Married the President

Chapter 425: Chapter 425: The Plot Is Exposed

He couldn’t make out the rest of the message.

’That damn spendthrift must be wasting money again!’

Hugh Carson impatiently tapped on the text, wanting to see how much more of his money his wife had spent. But as soon as he did, his phone froze.

’What’s going on???’

The phone was frozen for about ten seconds before it finally returned to normal. But less than a second later, a video screen popped up.

In the video, a naked man and woman were in a hotel room, doing the indescribable...

The woman in the video was none other than his wife, Jasmine Sinclair!

But the video was only half a minute long. It suddenly switched to another screen, which showed Melanie Sinclair and Logan Linden talking as they lay in bed after they’d finished.

Melanie Sinclair: ”Brother Linden, I’m going to miss you so much.”

Logan Linden: ”We went at it so many times, and you’re still not satisfied, you little slut?”

Melanie Sinclair pouted, ”That’s not it. It’s just... when you go back, you’ll have to go back to sucking up to that little bitch, Claire Sinclair. I’m just jealous!”

Logan Linden: ”A classless hick like that needs sucking up to? Melanie, she can’t hold a candle to you. I’m not going to marry her. You’re the woman I’m going to marry.”

Melanie Sinclair: ”But we’ve been together for almost two years, and you still haven’t broken up with her...”

Logan Linden: ”If I break up with her, who’s going to make us money? We’re still a long way off from the down payment on our house, and we still haven’t gotten our hands on Quinn Sinclair’s two million in compensation. I can’t break up with her just like that.”

...

By the time Hugh Carson finished watching the video, his face was as black as the bottom of a pot. He was in no mood to discuss work. He shot to his feet. ”I’m sorry, President Lynch. Something urgent came up at home, I have to head back. We’ll talk another time.”

With that, Hugh Carson grabbed his suit jacket and left.

He scrambled into his car. Just as he was about to start the engine, his phone suddenly rang. The caller ID read: Mom.

Hugh Carson was a devoted son. No matter how busy he was, he always answered his parents’ calls, and this time was no exception.

As soon as he answered, his mother’s furious voice came through the phone. ”Hugh, I just received a strange video on my phone, and your sister got it too. Your sister says the woman in the video with no clothes on is Jasmine. What is going on?”

”Mom, don’t worry about this for now. I’m on my way home to ask Jasmine what’s going on.”

”Okay, you two need to sort out your own problems!”

Hugh Carson was in no mood to chat, so he gave a few perfunctory replies and hung up.

Unexpectedly, his phone buzzed with another MMS message. The title read: Jasmine Sinclair’s Abortion Record.

The message contained a photo that needed to be downloaded.

Hugh Carson didn’t care if it was a virus or not; he tapped ”download” immediately.

When the photo loaded, he saw an admission record for Melanie Sinclair’s abortion.

’That fucking bitch! How dare she lie to me!’

’Pure beauty, my ass! Right now, I just feel like I’ve eaten shit!’

Hugh Carson couldn’t take it anymore. He sped home.

「The Carson Residence.」

Jasmine Sinclair was still on social media, interacting with netizens she believed were on her side. She was either dropping bombshells for them or playing the victim to gain sympathy.

That is, until the bedroom door was kicked open, startling her.

Hugh Carson stormed in and, without a word, slapped Jasmine Sinclair hard across the face.

Jasmine Sinclair’s head spun from the blow. It took her a long moment to come to her senses. Clutching her cheek, she asked plaintively, ”Carson, why did you hit me?”

”You fucking slut! You have the gall to ask me why I hit you? Do I need to spell out the fucked-up things you’ve done??”

”Carson, what are you talking about? I don’t understand.” Jasmine Sinclair was even more bewildered.
