Ghost Catching System

Qiu Xueying, who was being pulled into conversation by others, glanced at them from time to time. How to put it? If gazes could form a barrier, Chu Hao and Mu Yufei would already be separated by it, she thought.

”Sister, I want to hear you sing,” Mu Yuxun said as she approached with a microphone in hand.

Mu Yuxun gave Chu Hao a glare. This guy just goes still when he sees my older sister. He wants to hit on her! He hasn’t even managed to charm me; he should just go play by himself, she thought.

Mu Yufei picked up the microphone and started to sing. And no kidding, she really had a great voice. If she practiced singing more often, she could easily make it as a singer.

Just then, Chu Hao’s phone rang. A sweet, cloying voice said, ”Classmate Chu Hao, which room are you in?”

Chu Hao answered, puzzled, ”Who’s this?”

”Ji Qingqing.”

How did this girl get his number? he wondered.

”In room 999.”

”Okay, I’ll be right there.”

After Chu Hao hung up, Qiu Xueying came over with a beer and asked, ”Drink?”

”I’ll toast Teacher Qiu.”

Brother Hao was just so popular. One sophisticated woman had just finished singing, and now another sophisticated woman, a teacher, came to drink with him. He was practically irresistible to sophisticated women.

Chu Hao was indeed the star of this reunion, leaving little chance for anyone else. Even the school beauty sat on the side, pouting, simply because Chu Hao paid her no mind.

Chu Hao really felt like hugging the two sophisticated women. This is the life! Sooner or later, I’ll shake off that enchantress Bai Ling, he thought.

Thinking this, Chu Hao felt much happier and said, ”Teacher Qiu, Sister Yu Fei, shall we play ’Two Little Bees’?”

”Sure.”

”Two little bees, oh, flying into the flower bed, oh, fly! Fly!”

With perfect moves, as they ”flew,” their ample features jiggled, giving Chu Hao an exhilarating thrill.

DING! Host flirts and shows off, receiving 900 Pretentiousness Points.

Impressive, Chu Hao thought.

Seeing this scene, the other well-dressed classmates turned green with envy. Chu Hao really knew how to have fun. He had left them all an entire Earth’s equator behind.

Mu Yuxun, seeing this, felt annoyed. Where was she lacking?

On the other hand, Qiu Xueying and Mu Yufei were both laughing and joking with him. They occasionally burst into laughter at Chu Hao’s antics, their ample features rippling with their light chuckles, indeed drawing many eyes.

Mu Yuxun looked down at herself. Was it just because she was small?

This jerk, she fumed internally.

If she had a knife, Mu Yuxun would have already rushed up and chopped Chu Hao into pieces.

Just then, the door to the room opened. Ji Qingqing entered, looking adorable with a small pink bag on her back. Her skin was as smooth and tender as porcelain, like someone out of an anime. She said, ”Hello, everyone.”

As soon as the male students saw Ji Qingqing, their eyes lit up.

Ji Qingqing stuck out her tongue. Nervously and shyly, she said, ”Classmate Chu Hao, my… my sister is here too.”

Your sister! Chu Hao thought, surprised. Then he saw a stunning woman enter. Her skin was smooth and delicate, and her long legs were disproportionately longer than her torso—impossibly long.

Those divinely given legs could be appreciated for ten years. Her toes were exquisitely shaped, her skin smooth, and her feet, even in sandals, looked incredibly alluring.

This woman, Chu Hao knew all too well.

Luo Yan.

As soon as Luo Yan entered, she saw Chu Hao surrounded by two beautiful sophisticated women, her eyes narrowing slightly.

Ji Qingqing was Luo Yan’s younger cousin. Her cousin had confessed to liking someone and wanted to take the opportunity at graduation to express her feelings, asking Luo Yan for help.

Luo Yan was puzzled. With Ji Qingqing’s looks, which young man wouldn’t be taken with her? Why would she need help confessing?

However, after repeated pleas from her younger cousin, Luo Yan had agreed to come.

But upon arriving, she saw Chu Hao playing ’Two Little Bees’ with two gorgeous sophisticated women, a happy smile on his face.

Luo Yan knew this guy had a thing for sophisticated women, but she hadn’t expected him to be playing with them at a class reunion. Most importantly, these two sophisticated women were exceptionally beautiful, especially that Mu Yufei.

Seeing Luo Yan, Chu Hao was also dumbfounded.

Luo Yan narrowed her eyes and smiled, ”Qingqing, is it him?”

Ji Qingqing shyly lowered her head. She had been observing Chu Hao for some time. It wasn’t that long ago that Chu Hao hadn’t been so remarkable, but now things were different; she was deeply mesmerized by him.

”Classmate Chu Hao, I’m Qingqing’s older sister. Are you all drinking? Let me join you!”

Luo Yan, what on Earth are you plotting, you sly woman? Chu Hao wondered.

Chu Hao’s originally joyful smile instantly turned awkward. What even is all this? Is Anli City too small? How could we just bump into each other like this?

Luo Yan said, ”Let’s play together!”

Qiu Xueying didn’t think too much of it and responded, ”Alright, let’s play together. I’m Chu Hao’s teacher, Qiu Xueying. Nice to meet you.”

For some reason, Luo Yan felt a surge of nameless anger. She was usually calm in the face of most things, but now she was anything but.

Was Chu Hao really not sparing even his teacher? she thought.

Chu Hao felt so wronged. He hadn’t done anything to Qiu Xueying! It was simply that Brother Hao was too attractive.

Mu Yufei smiled, a mysterious air about her. You could never guess what she was really thinking.

Luo Yan said, ”Qingqing, go get some bigger cups.”

Ji Qingqing was a bit puzzled, but she hurried out nonetheless. Soon, the waiter brought over larger cups.

Chu Hao had a strong premonition; he smelled the scent of battle. Beautiful women together definitely spelled trouble.

”Do you know how to play dice?”

Mu Yufei gently replied, ”Yes.”

Mu Yuxun looked perplexed. Her sister usually wouldn’t drink with strangers. Today, not only was she drinking, but she was doing so with such large cups.

Qiu Xueying also nodded; she hadn’t thought much about it.

”Let’s play, just for fun.”

Next, they saw Chu Hao wedged between the three women, playing dice with them.

Luo Yan took the lead and declared, ”Six sixes! Your turn, Chu Hao.”

Chu Hao said, ”Then I’ll call seven sixes.”

Next was Mu Yufei’s turn, but before it got to her, Luo Yan interjected, ”I call!”

It turned out there were only six sixes, not seven.

Luo Yan said proficiently, ”That’s skipping two players, plus the base drink, so three cups in total. If you can’t handle it, I’ll drink for you.”

What does that mean? Chu Hao was speechless but picked up the three cups and drank them down.

Mu Yufei’s face was calm, impossible to read. She said, ”Ah-Hao, call the number.”

Chu Hao said, ”Then I’ll call six fours.”

Mu Yufei immediately shouted, ”Six sixes!”

Qiu Xueying hesitated, ”Ah,” then said, looking a bit troubled, ”Seven fours, then.”

Luo Yan called out, ”Seven fives!”

Mu Yufei said, ”Open!”

There were no seven fives!

Luo Yan was straightforward, saying, ”I’ll drink.”

After a few more rounds, the amount of alcohol consumed increased. Chu Hao drank the most, as Luo Yan kept challenging his calls. Mu Yufei also drank quite a bit. Soon, an entire case of beer was gone.

Damn it! These two women must be crazy, Chu Hao thought.

Qiu Xueying also felt something was amiss. She couldn’t let her friend be at a disadvantage, so she started challenging Luo Yan’s calls.

Then, Chu Hao realized he had a very vexing problem: Whom should he support?
