Abandoned Woman Busy Farming

Chapter 2992: Chapter 2993: Bai Two Percent

Although it’s very popular nowadays for handsome young men to sell women’s cosmetics, with surprisingly good results, times are different, and so is the level of conservatism among people. It’s better to follow the local customs.

”Moreover, we must treat everyone equally, even if they can’t afford to buy or are just here to join the fun, we must treat them seriously. If she can’t afford it today, it doesn’t mean she won’t be able to afford it in the future. Even if she can’t afford it, if she approves of our Fragrance Dew, she will tell the people around her, and that’s word-of-mouth marketing.”

Bai Ruozhu continued, ”Besides, I want to create an exquisite gold bottle to hold our store treasure. No, we won’t call it that; let’s call it the signature scent of each season, available for free trials.”

”Wouldn’t gold be a bit too gaudy?” Meng Jinse asked.

Bai Ruozhu burst out laughing, ”Then let’s use the finest white jade to sculpt one!”

”I think we could put some effort into packaging. They just use paper to wrap their spices and then put them in a fine wooden box, but that’s not good enough for us,” Meng Jinse said. ”Our bottles must be beautiful to show their class.”

Bai Ruozhu nodded vigorously. She had been captivated by a certain perfume bottle in her previous life, even though the scent didn’t really suit her, she couldn’t resist buying it.

A member of the Luo Family also spoke up, ”I think the shop should have a Rest Room, so if customers get tired of picking, they can rest and have tea. Smelling too many scents can numb the nose, and a break is needed.”

Bai Ruozhu kept nodding, ”Yes, there should be one.”

They say three cobblers with their wit can equal Zhuge Liang. The three kept discussing until they confirmed many details.

Later, Bai Ruozhu relayed the results of their discussion to the manager. The manager quickly found a shop that both Bai Ruozhu and Meng Jinse approved of, and they started the renovations.

Bai Ruozhu thought it would be good for the Luo Family member to handle some work, so she proactively discussed with Meng Jinse, ”I’m too busy to help, so let my aunt manage it. I’ll give her a 20% equity share.”

Meng Jinse chuckled, ”People say you’re Bai ’20%’—I believe it today.”

”What ’20% Bai’? Who said that?” Bai Ruozhu widened her eyes. She often gave away a 20% equity share, but surely that didn’t deserve a nickname? It sounds so silly.

Meng Jinse laughed so hard she nearly fell over, ”Alright, we’ll do as you say.”

”So you’ll have 50%, I’ll have 30%, and my aunt 20%. The funding will be split between you, me, and Bai. We should settle accounts clearly, even as family, to avoid misunderstandings that could hurt our feelings later,” Bai Ruozhu said.

”Alright, whatever you say,” Meng Jinse was more interested in having her Fragrance Dew loved by more people rather than making money, happy to see her blend being appreciated.

The decision was made, and Bai Ruozhu went home to tell the Luo Family member. She wanted to refuse, but Bai Ruozhu gave her no chance to decline, directly handed her the contract, and had her seal it with a fingerprint.

”Aunt, it’s good to have some money of your own. Even if you don’t have many expenses, won’t you need to give Red Envelopes to the younger generation during holidays?” Bai Ruozhu found an excuse.

The Luo Family member finally felt relieved, ”Then I’ll give your family’s three boys a big Red Envelope for the New Year.”

Mentioning the three boys, Bai Ruozhu wilted a bit—when would her little princess arrive?

Before bed, Mouka’s little pumpkin suddenly started crying emotionally, saying she doesn’t want mommy and daddy to get old, doesn’t want them to die, and insisted they should never die, even when they’re a hundred years old. Mouka had to seriously promise not to grow old or die, to always stay young and beautiful, with a ’muah’~

Then he asked, ”But how did your mommy and daddy get old?”

Uh, a bit hard to answer, and when he started crying again, all I could do was say through gritted teeth, ”Because they are already over a hundred years old.”

This lie...
