Rebirth: General, Don't Mess Around!

Xia Jinyuan really wanted to help his girlfriend, but the sales associate reminded her that she might need to wear high heels on the wedding day, so why not give it a try?

”No worries, I will support you. We have plenty of time to shop today, and we can try things you haven’t tried before. Get used to them, and if it doesn’t work out, then don’t wear them, not even on the wedding day.” Xia Jinyuan whispered in Ye Jian’s ear and slowly took her hand, ”I’m here, just give it a try.”

Listening to the sales associate talk about getting married, Xia Jinyuan’s heart blossomed with joy. Given that V8 met the parents and discussed marriage, he, as Captain, couldn’t lag behind. This Spring Festival, both families could finalize these matters, and he needed to prepare to submit his marriage report.

With the groom-to-be so proactive, the sales associate was even sweeter in her praises, with compliments pouring out one after another. Ye Jian had always thought that her Captain Xia would not be easily swayed by flattery, but to her utter surprise, Captain Xia was indeed charmed!

”Yes, miss, rest assured, although our store is mainly about selling clothing, these shoes are also from our brand’s line. We guarantee they’re comfortable. Why not try them on and see for yourself? If they don’t fit well, our store won’t force a sale, right?”

The sales associate was really capable, which moved Xia Jinyuan, and even Ye Jian herself was tempted!

Thinking about how she hadn’t worn high heels many times in her two lifetimes combined, maybe... maybe she should really give it a try? While she hesitated, Xia Jinyuan didn’t give her the chance to refuse.

”Come on, try them.” After speaking, the extremely attractive Xia Jinyuan swept Ye Jian into his arms, stunning the young sales associate with stars in her eyes.

Oh my god, oh my god, oh my god!

So so so incredibly handsome! Ahhhh!

The handsome beyond measure Xia Jinyuan carried Ye Jian and gently placed her on the sofa. At the same time, he managed not to let his girlfriend, who was wearing a skirt, expose herself.

What expression did Ye Jian have?

Well, Ye Jian was frozen, expressionless.

Her face turned so red she could only pretend to be calm and collected, as if she was used to it.

The pursuing sales associate was quite a talent. Being the sales champion was not in vain; she immediately handed the shoes to Xia Jinyuan. At this moment, it was definitely the boyfriend’s turn to personally put on the shoes for his girlfriend!

Comrade Xia, having a strong ability to learn, got the hint the moment he received the shoes.

The tall man got down on one knee, like a prince proposing to his beloved princess, kneeling before her to slip on the high heels for Ye Jian.

With such an affectionate gesture, Ye Jian was so overwhelmed her face turned crimson with shyness, ”Eh, eh, eh, let me do it, I, I, I... I’ll do it myself.”

She stumbled over her words and raised her hand to stop Xia Jinyuan’s, feeling too shy to do this in front of so many people.

In order to secure this big sale, the sales associate spared no effort in sweet-talking Xia Jinyuan, pampering the patron. In truth, she felt that with the love in this gentleman’s eyes when he looked at the lady, there was no need for all these flattering words—an outsider like her could see love almost spilling over.

But the sales associate had a smooth talker’s natural gift, and with the upper lip touching the lower lip, she effortlessly continued with her flattering remarks, ”During the wedding, when the groom fetches the bride, he has to find the bride’s wedding shoes and put them on her before they can leave the house, so it’s good for the gentleman to practice now.”
