Rebirth: General, Don't Mess Around!

Another semester was about to end. Ye Jian and Xia Jinyuan hadn’t contacted each other for an entire semester. The two of them seemed to have lost contact. Neither of them knew what the other person was doing. They didn’t know if things were good or bad.

Although the two of them hadn’t contacted each other, Ye Jian received a call from G3 from the brigade in the middle of December. He was ordered to contact Ye Jian and tell her about the matters in the brigade and why they lost contact with Captain Xia Jinyuan.

Not long after he came back from the north of the border, Xia Jinyuan carried out another mission with the new special forces soldiers. Not long after he came back, he sent them overseas again. This time, he sent them to the side of the Head who was going overseas for a visit. Right on the heels of that, he went overseas for another mission. When Pigeon contacted Ye Jian, he hadn’t returned to the team.

However, before he left, Xia Jinyuan told G3 that if he didn’t come back by the end of December, he should contact Ye Jian and tell her about his situation.

It had been a month since she received the call in the middle of December. Ye Jian didn’t receive any more calls from the team. She didn’t know if Xia Jinyuan had returned to the team.

Fortunately, Ye Jian was used to it. Besides being worried, she didn’t complain.

However, she missed him dearly today because it was snowing.

He once came to the campus when it was snowing. The two of them walked through more than half of the military school in the cold wind. They were so cold that their noses were red, but they couldn’t bear to part.

For the first snowfall of the year, she walked around the campus alone.

The first heavy snowfall in Xiang City came late. Three days before the winter vacation, heavy snow fell overnight. The entire campus was white and beautiful.

The usually solemn campus was filled with laughter. It was the students who were shoveling snow to entertain themselves and avoid the inspectors.

As the sound of running was heard, all the students gathered and started their morning exercise. No matter how warm their blankets were, they couldn’t keep the students who needed to get up.

Xu Wen hugged a pile of books and looked at the students who were running in the morning. She sighed with emotion and said to Ye Jian and He Jing, ”Were the fourth-year seniors like us today, standing here and looking at the first-year students?”

”Of course.” He Jing nodded and replied firmly, ”But they were definitely not as stupid as the three of us. We’ve been standing and watching for more than ten minutes! If we don’t leave now, they’ll think that the three of us are peeping at them.”

They had been standing in the cold wind for more than ten minutes. They looked like fools for sure. Ye Jian looked up from her documents and smiled. ”Not me. It’s you two.”

As soon as she finished speaking, she saw a tall figure walking over. It was obvious that the person was looking for someone.

Ye Jian nudged He Jing’s arm and smiled. ”He’s here again. He’s been bolder lately.”

He Jing looked up. Yes, he had gotten bolder.

It was almost the holidays. Student Song Zhiqiu was no longer as reserved as before. Instead, he came to look for her openly. It was the same today.

”Go to the classroom first. I still need some topographic information. I’ll look for you when I find it.” Ye Jian was the first to speak. She had a good reason to leave. Indeed, she hadn’t found a military topographic information book that she needed.

The first three days of winter vacation were the time for all kinds of exams. Even someone like Ye Jian, who was best at arranging her time, was a little flustered.

Xu Wen, whose nose was red from the wind, didn’t notice her boyfriend walking over. She rubbed her nose and said in a hoarse voice, ”Okay, Jing and I will go over and get seats first.”

She caught a cold a few days ago. Her voice was hoarse and her nose was blocked. Until today, she still had some mild symptoms.
