Rebirth: General, Don't Mess Around!

Many students were still in a daze, especially those who lowered their heads to let their mind wander. They suddenly hear silence around them. They raised their heads and looked at the venue in confusion. Then, they were very confused.

”Why did that boy fall before they even started? Did his feet slip?”

A student who had zoned out asked the classmate beside him in amusement. In return, the classmate rolled his eyes. ”Slip and fall? Didn’t you see what happened?”

”I didn’t. It’s just a warm-up round, no?”

”The first round has ended.”

”Ah! It’s over! I didn’t see it!”

The students who didn’t see it were shocked. But who else could they blame? They could only blame themselves.

The students who saw it were no better than those who didn’t. They were confused, surprised, dumbfounded, and stunned… In short, they didn’t believe it. They didn’t believe what they saw. They didn’t believe that the first round had ended. They didn’t believe that the national runner-up of Taekwondo was knocked down by the instructor just like that. It only took five seconds!

They were going crazy!

They were going crazy!

Within five seconds, their instructor knocked Tao Yi down!

The students Ye Jian were in charge of were more confused than the students of any class. They couldn’t accept what they were seeing. Ahhhhh, Tao Yi must’ve been unprepared!

It must be!

If not, he wouldn’t have lost so quickly!

”Go, Tao Yi! Go, Tao Yi! You’re the best!”

”Tao Yi, my good brother! You’re the best!”

”Tao Yi, Tao Yi, come on!”

The boy who reacted first shouted again, ”Buddy, you have to hold on! You’re our hope of slacking off during military training!”

He had to hold on!

The boys started shouting, and the girls followed suit. Tao Yi, whose face was red from the fall, didn’t feel so awkward anymore.

Just now, he didn’t know how he was knocked down by the instructor.

Just as he raised his leg and swept it out, the instructor grabbed the ankle of his leg tightly with one hand and threw it out!

Instant knockout!

Ye Jian pulled up the stunned boy down from the ground and smiled. ”Tao Yi, this is a competition. You need to show the right attitude during the competition. Don’t be careless, understand?”

”Instructor…” Tao Yi jumped up with his outstretched hand and did a suave gesture of brushing his hair away from his forehead. He took a step back and quickly recovered from the awkwardness. He said calmly, ”Instructor Ye, be careful.”

After all, he had been in competitions before. When he realized that he had underestimated his opponent, he didn’t panic immediately. Instead, he immediately calmed down and prepared for the next round of sparring.

Just now, he underestimated his opponent and thought that he could take down the instructor easily. He didn’t expect…

In the dark, Tao Yi’s eyes darkened slightly. He bit his cheeks. He had to get back at her, but he couldn’t embarrass the instructor either.

Ye Jian saw the expression on his face and smiled. She replied calmly, ”I’ve always been very careful.”

She glanced at Tao Yi’s right leg. As she smiled, a sharp look swept past the corners of her eyes.

In the first round, Tao Yi was careless and she won in an instant.

From now on, Tao Yi wouldn’t be as careless as he was in the first round. From his gaze just now, she could tell that as the national runner-up of Taekwondo, he wouldn’t allow himself to lose too badly.

The chief instructor whistled and announced loudly that Ye Jian won the first round.

Thunderous applause sounded again. The instructors, who were about to be promoted to fourth-year students, saw their students straying away from them.

They were too enthusiastic.
