Rebirth: General, Don't Mess Around!

The chief instructor stood up and looked at the 36 students on the bus. He sighed softly. It was the same every year. Every year, his heart would feel heavy.

Although the military training only lasted for ten days, to these students, the students they trained were their own soldiers. Their actions and commands taught the students how to sweat and laugh together. Even if it was only for ten days, they were still the soldiers they trained.

How could they be in a good mood when they were separated from the soldiers they trained?

They would be fine after some time. Time was the best medicine for healing.

They were almost at the school. Song Zhiqiu, who was sitting by the window, moved his arm and took out a few letters from his pocket. He touched Ye Jian’s arm lightly and handed the letters over.

Ye Jian was looking at the message book. Seeing the letters, she looked at Song Zhiqiu in confusion. ”For me?”

”Yes, a few boys in my class secretly stuffed them into my backpack. After thinking about it, I brought them along.” Song Zhiqiu, who was in a slightly better mood, smiled teasingly. ”They’re love letters, but I didn’t read them.”

Ye Jian replied calmly, ”They stuffed them into your backpack for you. What do they have to do with me?”

It was better for her not to accept the love letters. It couldn’t be helped. Her man was narrow-minded. If he knew about it, tsk… He would drown in jealousy again.

”You’re really not going to read them? Aren’t you curious?” Song Zhiqiu raised his eyebrows. ”You don’t mind me reading them, right? I want to learn from them.”

Ye Jian thought for a moment before replying, ”I suggest that you don’t read them. After all, this is a matter of personal security. Don’t let them be discovered by the chief instructor, or you’ll be criticized.”

If they even dared to accept love letters written by a student, they’d be asking for a beating!

In the end, the two of them didn’t look at what was written in the love letters. Instead, they looked at the message book in Ye Jian’s hand. There were many witty words written, and some even quoted what Ye Jian had said.

[Reporting, Instructor. I have a bug on my face!]

[You can either kill it with your eyes or use your eyes to enlighten it. Choose one!]

[Reporting, Instructor. I want to go to the toilet!]

[Don’t be anxious. Your bladder has enough capacity. Bear with it. You just went 20 minutes ago. Now, you’re asking to go again. I can’t help but suspect that you’re a little weak in some aspects.]

[Can you persevere?]

[Yes!]

[Not bad, let’s add another ten minutes of military stance!] There was a machete at the end of this sentence. [Instructor, at that time, you tortured us thousands of times in our hearts!]

Reading the messages, Song Zhiqiu could only suppress his laughter until his stomach cramped. ”I didn’t expect you to have so much fun during the military training. I couldn’t tell. I really couldn’t tell. I wasn’t as happy as you.”

”My popularity isn’t for nothing.” Ye Jian was laughing so hard that she needed to clench her fists to suppress her laughter. Even she didn’t believe that she had said so many funny things during the military training.

Her mood improved bit by bit as she read and laughed.

As for the phone numbers and emails… The two of them chose to ignore them because it was impossible to contact the students again.

After returning to the military school and entering her fourth year, Ye Jian quickly immersed herself in her studies. Xu Wen and He Jing were the same. The out-of-school training became a good memory for Ye Jian in her military career. She would suddenly remember it and smile unconsciously.

The fourth-year students were even busier. They didn’t have the so-called life of a fourth-year student. They were as busy as usual. Sometimes, they even had to run over to bring the first-year students for training. They were so busy that they even had to calculate their sleeping time carefully.

From the days of the scorching sun to the snow-covered scenery, Ye Jian realized that the days were passing quickly. In the blink of an eye, the fourth semester was over.
