Rebirth: General, Don't Mess Around!

If the boys couldn’t stand it, there was no need to mention the girls. As for thinking of a way… What way could they think of? All the new students were the same. No one was special. What way could they think of?

”I thought that military training would be fun. It’s only been one and a half hours. I don’t want to play anymore. I don’t want to play at all. I want to dry myself under the fan, eat popsicles, play games, and lie on the bed…”

”I want to do that too. I’m so damn tired! My calves are trembling from the marches. We kept turning left and right… I’m dizzy.”

”Everything else is fine. It’s just that it’s too hot. I can’t take it. I feel like I’m going to have a heatstroke.”

”There are still nine and a half days left. Friends, the long march has just begun!”

Ye Jian pointed at the uncoordinated movements of the boy, Wang Haibo, in front. The new students who were resting split into a few batches and sat under the shade of a tree. They were already exclaiming about their lives.

The boys who said that they were tired were just saying it. They didn’t have any other thoughts.

There were also a few boys who tried to come up with ideas together. They muttered something in low voices and were so excited that they rubbed their fists.

”It’s meaningless to write it alone. A few people have to write it together and hand it to the instructor. At that time… Hehe, it might work. Friends, our request isn’t too much. As long as one of us succeeds, everyone will rise to the top!”

”We need to find the most handsome person in the class. Girls like good-looking people the most.”

”Good idea. We need to find someone good-looking. We can’t win with numbers. It’s just the few of us. Friends, I’m not trying to hit on you. Come, let’s admire each other for three minutes and see if we can appreciate each other’s ’good looks’.”

…

There was no need for three minutes. 30 seconds was a long enough time.

The boys who came up with the idea to coax the instructor and seek benefits for themselves silently retracted their gazes. Actually… they couldn’t bear to look at each other.

”It looks like we still have to enlist the help of someone handsome. I think our instructor will definitely like someone who’s handsome. Even if the instructor doesn’t accept the guy, she’ll probably let us off on account of his handsomeness.”

”After thinking about it, I don’t think it’s feasible to write a love letter to the instructor. Speaking of handsome, look at the other instructors—especially that instructor who left the girls shocked. He’s handsome enough, right? The military school is full of males, and our instructor is the school belle. There are many handsome boys in the military school. I’m afraid we won’t be able to achieve the effect we want.”

”Then what should we do? We can’t do this or that. Are we going to be as tired as cows every day?”

”There’s one more way…”

Before the boy who came up with the idea could say it, a girl beside them heard their conversation and couldn’t help but turn around. ”You can’t bully Instructor Ye just because she’s a female instructor!”

The boys felt a little awkward when they were caught red-handed by the girl. They silently turned their heads and didn’t continue.

”We never thought of bullying the instructor. Don’t think too much.”

”Ha, I’m thinking too much? What did you say just now? Isn’t that considered bullying?” The girl was the local girl who fought with Huang Yawen yesterday. Ye Jian was in the same dormitory as her. When she heard the boys’ conversation getting worse and worse, she couldn’t take it anymore and turned around.

The boy who was defending himself didn’t expect the girl to hear everything they said. For a moment, his expression was resentful. He couldn’t say anything else.
