Rebirth: General, Don't Mess Around!

It was precisely because Lieutenant Colonel Zhu and Lieutenant Colonel Fang didn’t know that there was another special forces unit that they went to look for Li Jinnian and didn’t disturb him.

The special forces soldiers of the Xueyu unit were like shadows. No one knew about them.

Li Jinnian got out of the truck and met the lieutenant colonels from the two camps. They exchanged a few words before getting busy. Lieutenant Colonel Zhu waited until Li Jinnian walked out of the tent before saying to Lieutenant Colonel Fang, ”Fortunately, we met them. If not, our two camps wouldn’t have been able to rescue the 12 workers in time.”

”When I found out that 12 Chinese workers had fallen into the hands of illegal militants, I was thinking about where I should transfer people to rescue them…”

At the mention of the Chinese workers being kidnapped, Lieutenant Colonel Zhu’s heart started beating fast. ”I was really worried at that time. Fortunately, they came to solve the problem and saved everyone.”

Lieutenant Colonel Fang nodded. ”That’s true. The situation in Libya is too chaotic now. We can’t let anything happen on our side.”

”Lieutenant Colonel Nikita from Russia has called. Next, we will guard the two camps together until the illegal militants retreat.”

”What are your arrangements for the Russian peacekeeping soldiers? Are you going to drive them back to the Russian camp or are they going to stay?”

”After a short rest, they’ll return to the Russian camp. There’s no need to send a truck. They have their own truck. Oh right, do we have any ready-made steamed buns in the cafeteria? Let them bring 50 of them back.”

Lieutenant Colonel Fang laughed involuntarily. ”The thank-you gift is two bags of steamed buns?”

”Yes, it’s a thank-you gift. They all like steamed buns.” Lieutenant Colonel Zhu smiled too. As all the difficult problems were solved, the smile on his face got bigger. ”Each of them can eat three in one go. 50 steamed buns is enough for them to eat two meals.”

”This gift is quite unique. We don’t have any ready-made ones. Let the cooking team handle it.”

”Okay, I’ll go and take a look at the injured first.”

Lieutenant Colonel Fang stood up too. ”Come, let’s go take a look. I’ll leave the supplies to you. You still have to arrange for the soldiers to be on guard. Arrange everything you need to.

”The situation is uncertain now. Covil is not affected by the flames of war, but it’s hard to say if it will be affected in the future.”

As Lieutenant Colonel Fang spoke, he walked out of the tent with Lieutenant Colonel Zhu. As the people in charge of the camp, they didn’t have much rest time. Everything needed to be arranged properly.

They didn’t care about the special forces soldiers who had entered the camp to rest. The military called, and the soldiers of the special forces would follow the arrangements made by their captains. They would leave the camp eight hours later and return to the country.

The special forces soldiers who had been fighting continuously got out of the trucks and didn’t even have lunch. One by one, they crawled into the tent and found a random spot. They hugged their guns and lay on the ground. In less than three minutes, they fell asleep.

Ye Jian didn’t enter the tent to sleep. Instead, she walked around the tent and walked toward the three trees that Xia Jinyuan had told her about.

Before she got close, she saw Xia Jinyuan talking to a tall and big man from afar. One look and she knew that he was a foreign soldier.

The foreign soldier was none other than Luke, who had been with Xia Jinyuan for a year and a half.

Luke, who was from the Signal Flag, had helped the Chinese peacekeeping camp to defeat the illegal militants this morning. He looked as if he had seen a ghost. His light brown eyes were about to fall out of their sockets.

Xia! He didn’t see wrongly. The Chinese soldier in front of him was… Xia!
