Rebirth: General, Don't Mess Around!

The Chinese workers chose to cooperate and negotiate. The Libyan workers, who had been ruined by the flames of war, chose to try to escape because they didn’t believe that the government forces would save them at all. They didn’t believe that as long as they cooperated, they would be released.

They believed that they were being lied to and that the illegal militants wouldn’t let them go!

The Libyan workers, who had been ruined by the flames of war and only believed in themselves, chose to escape. When they did that, they were shot to death. The few people who were shot were then dragged back to the cafeteria of the mine workers by the illegal militants. The illegal militants also told everyone who was squatting down while hugging their heads that the consequences of escaping would be tragic.

The blood that flowed out had already dried up. It was like countless dark brown snakes were on the ground, looking like they would retaliate in the next second. It made people shudder.

The cafeteria was filled with Libyan workers. A figure slowly stuck his head out of the window of the cafeteria. His gaze quickly swept across the cafeteria building. After ten seconds, he bent down again to avoid the gazes that were directed at the windows.

After a while, the shadow stuck his head out again and continued to observe the situation inside. When he confirmed that there were no Chinese workers in the cafeteria, he hunched over and retreated bit by bit.

He was from the batch of peacekeeping soldiers that entered the mine first.

The mine that had been mined for half a year was huge. The scraps that were mined were not transported out in time and were piled up in the mine. After entering the mine, the peacekeeping soldiers carefully avoided the illegal militants standing in the dark. They started at the sentry post at the tall tower. Only then did they slowly approach the staff cafeteria, dormitory, office area, and living area.

They couldn’t confirm if the hostages in the cafeteria were Chinese workers, so they took the risk to check again.

Now, it could be confirmed that there were no Chinese workers inside.

Where did the Chinese workers go?

After receiving the latest news, Li Jinnian and Xia Jinyuan focused on the mine. They suspected that the Chinese workers who weren’t in the cafeteria were all in the mine.

Instead of letting the peacekeeping soldiers take the risk of checking, they were replaced by the members of the Storm Commando Brigade.

Li Jinnian looked at the time. It was already past 12:00 am. He pursed his thin lips and said to Xia Jinyuan in a low voice, ”My team will go in and scout the way first. We’ll try to settle it as soon as possible!”

”We’re still 32 kilometers away from the mine. We’ll arrive in about half an hour. Go in and find the Chinese workers first before working together to rescue them.”

Xia Jinyuan’s eyes were cold as he sat in the car and maintained the contact between the two teams. His heart sank when he understood the strength of the illegal militants who controlled the mine.

The vicious look on his face became deeper. He said, ”How much firepower equipment do you have? Don’t fight them easily before we come. Wait for us to come before taking action.”

Heavy firepower equipment…

Hearing this, Ye Jian and the water ghosts looked at the rifles in their hands silently. The only firepower equipment was the Type 95 automatic rifle.

Demon King Li finished reporting their equipment in a second. ”Type 95 automatic rifle.”

…

Xia Jinyuan waited for more than ten seconds as the car shook. He frowned. ”What else?”

”That’s it.”

”F*ck!”

Xia Jinyuan frowned. He kicked the interior of the truck. ”Why are you here? Are you here for peacekeeping?”

The brothers from the Storm Commando Brigade didn’t have much equipment at all. They were all lightly armed and didn’t even have a grenade. Besides rifles and daggers, they didn’t have any lethal weapons!

Damn it!

They came to a war-torn country to save people, but this was all they were given?
