Rebirth: General, Don't Mess Around!

It was hard to tell that this piece of land had been destroyed by the flames of war in such a clean sky.

Looking at the sky, Ye Jian relaxed slightly and enjoyed the hard-earned peace in the flames of war.

”It’s a sunny day today.”

Xia Jinyuan, who was walking over, looked at the sky. When he heard footsteps, Ye Jian turned around and smiled at him. ”Yes, it’s a sunny day. The sky is beautiful. Just looking at it makes my heart feel calm.”

”The sky in Libya has always been beautiful, especially in the morning when it’s sunny. The sun will come out today. You can dry your clothes while sitting in the car.”

This weather could indeed dry clothes. Xia Jinyuan didn’t say much. Letting their clothes dry while on their bodies was common. It was so common that it wasn’t worth mentioning.

Seeing that her camouflage uniform was a little messy, he naturally reached out to help Ye Jian tidy it up.

Her clothes had absorbed a little too much water. He pinched the fabric and sighed. ”Your equipment is really simple. I can’t bear to see it. I’ll talk to the Demon King later and let him make an application to the higher-ups.”

Ye Jian pulled her tactical vest. It was still a little heavy, but she couldn’t take it off. She looked up at the man who was tidying her clothes. The blue sky was reflected in her dark eyes. It was like clear glass. Only Xia Jinyuan’s figure could be seen.

He lowered his head, and she raised her head. Naturally, he could see the subtle changes in her eyes and face. Her sparkling eyes could only accommodate his figure. It was as if she could not tolerate anything else. Xia Jinyuan, who did not stop what he was doing, felt his heart flutter.

His thin lips curved slightly. He controlled the urge to kiss her and tried his best to shift his attention away.

”Now that they’ve taken the lead, there’ll be many such missions in the future. Their equipment can’t be too simple. Yesterday, Demon King Li told me that you only had a Type 95 rifle. At that time, he wanted you guys to go to the mine just like that. Were you all determined to die?”

At the mention of this, Xia Jinyuan’s attention shifted. His handsome face was already cold.

Ye Jian had carried out a few overseas combats. She was much more well-equipped compared to this time.

However, their mission this time was different. They could only travel light. Seeing that Xia Jinyuan’s facial expression was so tense and even his chin was bruised from last night, she explained, ”This time, we received a mission that required us to travel light. We had to leave and turn back at the last minute to save the Chinese workers, so we weren’t well-equipped.

”However, you can have a chat with my cousin. Our equipment can’t fall behind. We have to have everything.”

She could also tell that the equipment of the Storm Commando Brigade was much worse than that of the Xueyu unit. If Captain Xia said that the water ghosts would often carry out missions outside in the future, then they needed to upgrade their equipment.

Seeing that his attire was a little messy and his tactical vest was crooked, Ye Jian helped him tidy up as she spoke.

It was normal for comrades to dress neatly. Even if others saw them, they wouldn’t think too much about it. Ye Jian was very natural and neat. Xia Jinyuan even raised his head slightly to make it easier for her.

”The equipment in the country is still a little simple. Everything is still improving. Let’s take it one step at a time. One day, the entire army will have top-notch equipment like the Xueyu unit’s special forces. Our country’s strength and military power will increase many times.”

Ye Jian, who was speaking, pulled his collar and adjusted his equipment. Then, she patted his shoulder. Not bad, he was a handsome male soldier. However… the bruise on his chin was an eyesore.

Last night’s collision had indeed hit his chin hard.
