Rebirth: General, Don't Mess Around!

Xia Jinyuan was furious. The anger on his face was so scary that it could make children cry.

Were they overconfident in the strength of the water ghosts?

Or did they trick the water ghosts on purpose?

He cursed a few times, but the water ghosts weren’t angry. Instead, they persuaded him.

”We have guns, so we’re indeed armed. It’s enough. After we kill a few bastards with grenades, won’t we have lethal weapons?”

”Q King, calm down. Calm down. Just now, Demon King Li studied the mine map. If all the Chinese workers are concentrated in the mine, they’re still a little far from our current location. Once we sneak over, you’ll probably have arrived to reinforce us. So, there’s nothing to worry about.”

The water ghosts weren’t angry. Their situation was different at that time. They came to Libya as peacekeeping soldiers and shuttled through the village. It wouldn’t be according to the rules if they carried all kinds of lethal weapons.

Also, there were no lethal weapons in the camp of the peacekeeping forces. Azure Bird was the one who took down the heavy machine gun and sent it into the camp to hide it just in case.

Xia Jinyuan didn’t know what mission the water ghosts of the Storm Commando Brigade were originally on. Since the water ghosts were persuading him now, he took a deep breath and reminded them again, ”The other party has heavy weapons and bazookas. You must wait for us to come!”

After he finished speaking, he gritted his teeth and said to the team member driving, ”Drive faster!”

They didn’t have any weapons. How dare they save hostages with just rifles? He wanted to run over and beat Demon King Li up first!

Was he f*cking going to die?

After thinking for a while, Xia Jinyuan contacted Ye Jian alone.

This was the first time the two of them had a private conversation after being on the public channel for a few hours.

”Azure Bird, listen up. Your equipment can’t keep up with the other party. The difference is too great. You have more overseas combat experience than the water ghosts. You must remember not to be rash!

”They don’t dare to touch the Chinese workers now. You just need to remember this. Wait for us to come over and we’ll attack together! Do you understand?”

This was the woman he loved! They had to be together for a long time!

Ye Jian pressed her earpiece and replied softly. Then, she felt that her answer was too concise and was afraid that he would be suspicious, so she added, ”I know. Demon King Li also said that we’re here to save people, not to die. We won’t fight the other party head-on.”

”Okay, wait for me!”

Xia Jinyuan heaved a sigh of relief. He was really afraid just now.

In order to save the hostages, he was afraid that the woman he loved might put her personal safety aside. He knew that the battlefield was ruthless and life was fragile. He also knew that no one could guarantee that they would come back alive in every combat. He knew that but had never been afraid of death. However… when it came to her, he was still afraid.

He was really afraid that something would happen to her!

Xia Jinyuan’s eyes were red as he stared ahead. He wished he could appear beside Ye Jian now.

The fully equipped special forces soldiers of the Xueyu unit were all tense. They didn’t expect the water ghosts to dare to enter the tiger’s den with just rifles!

Now, they understood why their boss immediately asked them to provide support!

The speed of the truck increased instantly. It went from 60 miles per hour to 80 miles per hour. The entire vehicle shook even more. The special forces soldiers sitting at the back couldn’t sit properly. They kept bouncing up, their butts not touching the seats.

Even so, they still felt that it was too slow. Could their comrade drive faster? After all, he was a driver.
