Rebirth: General, Don't Mess Around!

It was 12 noon in Libya when the soldiers arrived at the small town of Covil. The two teams of special forces soldiers who had completed their mission could finally have a good rest. Xia Jinyuan got out of the truck and looked around. Then, he turned and looked at the convoy that was slowly driving into the camp. He narrowed his cold black eyes and said to V8, ”I’ll go and take a nap in front. Look for G3 for small matters. Look for Demon King Li for big matters. Find me in the channel for urgent matters.

”Remember, don’t run over to look for me. I’m very tired now. I need to have a good sleep!” To prove that he was really tired, he yawned several times in the blink of an eye.

T6 nodded in a daze and replied, ”Yes.” When he came back to his senses, his captain had already strode toward the few trees that were most suitable for cooling down.

”Is he really that tired? In the past, he couldn’t sleep well during the three days and three nights of combat, but he could still jump around. Why is he tired today? Is he getting old?”

T6 muttered as he stared at the departing figure.

Lieutenant Colonel Xia, who had walked far away, didn’t hear him. He was contacting Ye Jian alone. There was no tiredness on his face. He was very energetic.

”We have eight hours to rest. You must be tired. I found a good place. After you get out of the truck, shake off your cousin and come and look for me.”

Ye Jian, who was sitting in the last truck, suddenly heard a man’s gentle voice from her earpiece. She secretly glanced at her cousin, who was sitting beside her, but she didn’t dare to say anything. She only lowered her voice and hummed a few times, indicating that she heard him and it wasn’t convenient for her to speak now.

Xia Jinyuan was amused when he heard that. He didn’t dare to speak. It felt like he was sitting with his cousin-in-law.

”Get rid of Cousin-in-law. Don’t let him know. Come over once you get off the truck.” He suppressed his smile and continued, ”If he finds out, he’s going to be all cruel again. I’m even more afraid of him than I am of Father-in-law.

”It’s decided. After you come in, you’ll see three trees side by side behind the tent. I’ll occupy that place first. It’s very easy to find. If you really can’t find me, I’ll come and fetch you.”

What could Ye Jian say? She couldn’t say anything. She couldn’t even hum in response. She was afraid that her cousin beside her would notice it.

Li Jinnian didn’t expect Xia Jinyuan to play a cheap shot right under his nose again. He remembered that they would get eight hours of rest after entering the camp. He needed to arrange for his cousin to find a bed to rest on in the infirmary.

He said, ”Wait for me after you get out of the truck. I’ll bring you to the infirmary to rest. Don’t squeeze with us.”

Ye Jian, who was going to make a cheap shot later, almost choked on her own saliva when she heard that. She almost thought that her cousin really overheard their conversation.

Ye Jian swallowed her saliva. She wasn’t suited to do bad things. She smiled and said, ”There’s no need to go through so much trouble. I’m covered in dust. I shouldn’t dirty their beds. I’ll find a place to rest myself. There’s no need to specially make arrangements.”

After she finished speaking, she took a deep breath and tried her best to look calm.

She didn’t know that Li Jinnian was frowning slightly. In the end, he didn’t say anything and nodded slightly. ”Alright. Don’t turn off the communication. I need to ensure that I can find you at any time.”

”Okay, I understand.” Ye Jian smiled and nodded. That was a close call. She finally passed this round.

Xia Jinyuan had already walked to the shade of the trees when Ye Jian’s truck entered the camp.

Lieutenant Colonel Fang was talking to Lieutenant Colonel Zhu in the camp of the small town of Covil. They agreed to meet a captain with the surname Li later. As for Xia Jinyuan, they didn’t know that there was such a person. They didn’t know that there were actually two special forces units. The two people in charge of the camp thought that there was only one special forces unit.
