The Female CEO's Personal Bodyguard

Chapter 848: Chapter 848: I’ve Been Yours for a While, How Can It Be a Mistake?

”I know.”

Carson Flores softly replied, ”I have already handled everything, you don’t need to worry.”

Samantha Tate stared at Carson Flores skeptically, ”What do you mean by ’handled’?”

Carson Flores answered, ”It’ll be just like before, she let go of her troubles, she won’t mind anymore.”

A huge surge of joy suddenly rose in Samantha Tate’s eyes, ”She agreed?”

Carson Flores nodded, ”Yes, after all, you two have such a good relationship. You don’t want to hurt her, and she certainly doesn’t want to hurt you either. How about I play the bad guy then?”

Samantha Tate instantly felt quite happy, as this was the best outcome she could have imagined.

”That’s great, in this world, we can rely on each other, move forward together, and we won’t feel lonely anymore.”

Carson Flores nodded, ”Yes, we won’t be lonely anymore.”

As they were speaking, Jayceon Collins loudly said, ”All right, while it’s still light, let’s take another walk.”

The team set off, moving forward.

The light from the divine object had only appeared for a short while, and nobody knew the exact location; this kind of search was actually very blind, and it even led to many conflicts arising among the adventurers.

Carson Flores followed the team, wandering until night fell, and finally, they camped.

Jayceon Collins threw out two tent-like magic artifacts, instantly forming two rooms, one for the male disciples and one for the female disciples.

Samantha Tate pouted and whispered, ”I have a tent here, how about we share one?”

Carson Flores softly chuckled, ”Don’t, that elder of yours almost turned me into a sieve with his glares, and your fellow disciples are already green with envy. If we share a tent, won’t they go crazy?”

Samantha Tate hummed, ”You are my boyfriend. It’s perfectly normal for us to share a tent, and it’s not like we haven’t slept together before.”

Carson Flores coughed, ”Maybe we should still pay attention to how it looks. I’m afraid they might just kick me out later, and then I really won’t be able to cry.”

Samantha Tate of course knew Carson Flores was right. Everyone was out on an adventure; if they were overly affectionate, it indeed might upset some people. Couldn’t they avoid it a bit?

Moreover, she had seen the gaze from Elder Ridge Hamilton. If she and Carson Flores got too close, he would definitely intervene.

This made Samantha Tate quite unhappy.

She just wanted to hold Carson Flores, lie on the bed, curl up together under a blanket, and slowly talk about all the things that had happened over the past two years.

”Then let’s go for a walk.”

Carson Flores nodded, ”Okay!”

As they were about to head out, Ridge Hamilton’s cold voice came from behind them, ”Don’t go too far, or it could be dangerous.”

”Okay, Uncle Ridge.”

The two left the campsite and flew out several hundred meters, then sat down under a huge tree trunk.

Carson Flores cast a soundproof spell and smiled, ”There, now no one can eavesdrop or watch us...”

Carson Flores hadn’t finished speaking when Samantha Tate suddenly pounced on him, straddled him, and kissed him.

After a long while, Carson Flores slightly pushed Samantha Tate away and laughed, ”Alright, alright. If you keep kissing me, I won’t be able to resist making a mistake.”

Samantha Tate’s eyes sparkled like water, ”I have been yours for a long time, how is that a mistake?”

Carson Flores teased, ”Even for our first time, we should have some atmosphere, right? Otherwise, how awkward would it be when we remember it later?”

Samantha Tate grinned and said, ”Isn’t it supposed to be memorable and thrilling?”

Carson Flores laughed, ”You, after more than two years, you’re still the same, unchanged.”

Samantha Tate chuckled lightly, ”In front of you, I will always be the same, never changing.”

After a pause, Samantha Tate hugged Carson Flores’s neck comfortably and lay on him, ”It’s really great that you’re here, I won’t feel lonely anymore, and even if you are not by my side later, I won’t feel scared... Did sister really agree to us being together?”

Carson Flores laughed, ”Yes, when your sister came back, she was incredible; she went up to West Capital alone and took down two Innate Grandmasters...”

Samantha Tate’s eyes lit up immediately, ”Tell me about it.”

Carson Flores held Samantha Tate, leaning against the tree trunk, ”You know the earlier parts, so let’s start from when you entered Heavenly Mountain.”

Carson Flores narrated his experiences, and Samantha Tate listened with keen interest.

They talked for two hours.

Samantha Tate looked at Carson Flores in amazement, ”So, are you saying that you are actually the Direct Disciple of the Cave Master of Nutwood Mountain? And you’ve entered the Nascent Soul Realm?”

Carson Flores naturally did not need to hide anything from Samantha Tate and replied with a light laugh, ”Yes, I was afraid declaring my status would make them guard against me more, fearing that I might run off with you, and I also wanted to observe the people around you, especially what Jayceon Collins’s attitude towards you is...”

Samantha Tate hesitated but still answered honestly, ”I feel like he’s been overly attentive to me, maybe he wants to pursue me?”

Carson Flores’s eyes slightly narrowed, ”You’ve stolen his glory. Him catching you would indeed be a good way to salvage his dignity...”
