The Female CEO's Personal Bodyguard

Chapter 846: Chapter 846: You really have a telepathic connection

”Yueyue, I’m Carson Flores, looking for you in the Thunderfire Wasteland. Please reply if you receive this.”

Carson Flores!

He’s here!

Samantha Tate quickly replied with a message.

”I’ll send you a fireworks signal; please find a high place to check my direction. Please reply if you receive this.”

Soon, Samantha Tate received a response.

”Okay!”

Samantha Tate’s face bright with excitement, she threw out her Flying Sword, ready to soar into the sky on it.

Jayceon Collins spoke up, ”Disciple Samantha, where are you going?”

Samantha Tate replied excitedly, ”I’m going to the mountaintop to set off a signal flare; he’s come to find me!”

Jayceon Collins asked with confusion, ”Who?”

Samantha Tate answered, ”My boyfriend!”

Jayceon Collins felt a pang in his heart. They had just been discussing this; wasn’t he said to be in the Mortal Realm? How did he suddenly show up?

This was too much of a coincidence.

”I’ll accompany you. There might be formidable Demonic Beasts on the mountain.”

Jayceon Collins saw the look of refusal on Samantha Tate’s face and sneered inwardly, but his outward expression was as warm as a spring breeze, ”You are now the precious darling of our Heavenly Mountain. If anything happened to you, the elders would twist my head off. Besides, I too am curious to see what kind of outstanding man could win the heart of our excellent Disciple Samantha.”

With his words put in such a way, Samantha Tate, though reluctant, found it hard to refuse.

”Alright, then I’ll trouble you, Brother Jayceon, for your escort.”

Samantha Tate rose into the air on her sword, Jayceon Collins’s robe fluttering as he followed closely by her side to the nearby peak. There, at the summit, Samantha Tate released a contact flare that could emit a strong light and piercing sound, visible within a hundred miles.

Samantha Tate looked around, her heart jubilant yet anxious.

It had been over two years since they’d seen each other.

How deeply she missed him. She remembered how Carson Flores had forsaken his chance to enter Heavenly Mountain and, using a great favor, had her admitted instead, without a proper farewell. Every time she thought of this, it pained her deeply.

Carson Flores stood midair, seeing the signal rise in the distant sky.

Carson Flores smiled.

Finally, I have found you.

Carson Flores was ready to move forward but then suddenly halted.

”Old Lu, plant a Spiritual Imprint in me and then follow from a distance, but don’t show yourself for now.”

”Okay!”

After Tobias Singleton had planted a Spiritual Imprint in him, Carson Flores took out his Flying Sword, concealed his aura, and soared toward the direction of the flare signal on his Flying Sword.

Carson Flores had absolutely no doubts about Samantha Tate. He just wanted to see the reactions of the other Heavenly Mountain disciples, especially Jayceon Collins, the leader of the third-generation disciples.

If he revealed the strength of his Nascent Soul now, accompanied by a Divinity Transformation and made known his status as a Direct Disciple, he suspected that many things would not be as clear to see.

Samantha Tate cultivated alone in Heavenly Mountain, indeed protected by the Sect. But how did the other Sect members view her?

And how did Jayceon Collins, whose status was no longer superior because of her, view her?

Carson Flores flew swiftly on his Flying Sword, reaching the high peak.

No sooner had Carson Flores’s feet touched down than Samantha Tate, with red-rimmed eyes, rushed straight into his arms.

”Brother! It really is you!”

Carson Flores held her, smiling as he pinched her cheek, ”Isn’t it me? Didn’t I say I would come to find you?”

Samantha Tate looked at Carson Flores, tears streaming down her face, her eyes brimming with redness.

Carson Flores gently wiped her tears, saying with a smile, ”Okay now, don’t cry. We’ve met again, haven’t we? That’s a good thing.”

Samantha Tate rested her head against Carson Flores’s chest, ”I can’t help it when I’m so happy to see you.”

Carson Flores reassured her, ”It’s alright, we’re here in the Barbaric Wilderness Realm now; we won’t be separated again.”

Samantha Tate nodded enthusiastically, ”Okay, we’ll never be apart again, but how did you come here?”

Carson Flores looked up, glancing at Jayceon Collins, who had a smile that betrayed a hint of unease, ”We’ll chat about that later. Aren’t you going to introduce me to this friend?”

Only then did Samantha Tate snap back to reality, remembering Jayceon Collins was watching from behind. Unashamed, she stood upright from Carson Flores’s arms and introduced, ”This is Brother Jayceon Collins; he is the top among the junior disciples of the Heavenly Mountain Cave... Brother Jayceon, this is my boyfriend, Carson Flores.”

Carson Flores stepped forward with a smile and extended his hand, ”Brother Jayceon, hello.”

Among Cultivators, because of the variation in age, generational lines often become confused. Outside of their own Sect, a clear division of seniority is seldom applied. Elders or significantly stronger individuals, regardless of age difference, are called seniors. Peers of a similar age or strength are addressed as fellow brothers and sisters. Strangers or uncertain cases are politely referred to as ”Mister” or ”Miss,” based on the situation.

Jayceon Collins replied with a handshake and a smile, ”Disciple Samantha was just mentioning you, and here you are. You two really do have a special connection.”

”Oh, is that so?”

Carson Flores chuckled, ”What a coincidence.”

Jayceon Collins withdrew his hand, saying with a smile, ”Junior Brother Lin, how did you know we were here?”
