The Female CEO's Personal Bodyguard

Chapter 843: Chapter 843 You want to marry her, that’s absolutely impossible!

”Has she been well these past two years?”

Carson Flores didn’t rush to make a decision, but asked, concerned, about Samantha Tate’s life.

She had been sent by him to Heavenly Mountain Cave, alone and lonely, completely changing her world, without any relatives or friends by her side. Thinking about those initial days, it must’ve been rather tough.

Isabella Roth smiled in response, ”After I brought her back, Elder Qin quickly healed her injuries. During that process, her unique body constitution was discovered. The Cave Master valued her highly and personally tested her talent. He then ordered his own disciple, the Enforcement Hall Master, to take her as a disciple and instruct her with care.”

”In terms of her daily life and cultivation, she’s doing very well. Given her status and importance, she has not suffered any grievances. She occasionally comes to me to talk. The first thing she asked was how to return to the Mortal Realm. When I told her you possessed the Heaven’s Prophecy jade and were likely to enter Nutwood Mountain for cultivation, she didn’t say anything more.”

”It’s said that she trains very hard, almost to the point of madness. Apart from sleeping, she dedicates all her time to cultivation. Otherwise, she could not have possibly reached Foundation Establishment Great Perfection in just one year. I can sense that she wants to swiftly improve her strength and then be able to go to Nutwood Mountain to find you.”

Carson Flores felt a warm surge in his heart, ”This silly girl, I’ve already told her I would come to find her.”

Isabella Roth remarked with a smile, ”When you gave up the opportunity to enter Heavenly Mountain Cave and sent her instead, it was really touching. She probably feels as if she took the chance that was yours, so she wants to train hard and become stronger. That way, she can find you later and protect you.”

Carson Flores made up his mind then, ”Since she won’t be returning for a while longer, I’ll go to find her. Is there any way to contact her urgently?”

Isabella Roth took out a Communication Stone, ”I’ll transfer her Communication Stone contact information to you. As long as she’s within a certain range, she’ll be able to receive the message.”

Carson Flores gratefully accepted the stone and hurriedly expressed his thanks.

After chatting for a while, Isabella Roth invited Carson Flores to have a meal and asked a maiden to bring over her daughter.

After over two years, the little baby had grown into a cute and well-behaved little girl, who sweetly called Carson Flores ’Uncle’. He offhandedly gave her a cute teddy bear from the Mortal Realm, and the little girl was thrilled.

”Some days ago, there were rumor of celestial lights shooting up into the sky in the Thunderfire Wasteland, probably signaling the birth of a divine object. News spread, and many nearby Sects have sent teams to explore and search. Samantha is with one of Heavenly Mountain Cave’s teams that went there, led by Jayceon Collins, the foremost among Heavenly Mountain Cave’s third-generation disciples, and an elder.”

Carson Flores inquired with curiosity, ”What kind of strength do this Jayceon Collins and the elder possess?”

”Jayceon Collins has reached Nascent Soul Great Perfection, and the elder is at the Divinity Transformation Stage.”

Carson Flores mumbled thoughtfully, ”Heavenly Mountain Cave’s third-generation disciples don’t seem that talented. Despite being one of the top ten caves, the most powerful among their third-generation disciples is just at Nascent Soul Great Perfection.”

Mount Kahdas is also one of the top ten caves, but both Bryant James and Adelaide Bautista are much more capable than Jayceon Collins.

Bryant James, with his Innate Taoist Body and Divine Transformation Strength, can easily overpower many counterparts at the same cultivation stage. Compared to Bryant James, Jayceon Collins doesn’t seem to hold a candle.

In a real fight, Bryant James’ Eight-Armed Arhat could probably slap Jayceon Collins to death with one palm.

Oh, that’s not right, it’s a Seven-Armed Arhat now!

Isabella Roth seemed to guess what Carson Flores was pondering and said softly, ”The overall talent of Heavenly Mountain Cave’s third-generation disciples isn’t bad, but they lack exceptionally outstanding geniuses. Even Jayceon Collins, the first among these disciples, while not old, falls a bit short compared to the other Sects’ favored children. Given time, the gap will only widen.”

”That’s why, upon discovering Samantha’s Wood Spirit Body, both the Cave Master and the high-level members consider her a precious treasure and are focusing on her cultivation. In time, Samantha will surely become the most distinguished among the third-generation disciples, and she will also be the future pillar of Heavenly Mountain Cave.”

”Samantha is too outstanding, so I have my concerns about your future with her. It might not be smooth sailing, after all. Considering how much the Cave Master values and focuses on cultivating Samantha, he certainly wouldn’t let someone from outside the Sect marry her away.”

Carson Flores gave a bitter smile, not having anticipated that exceptional talent could actually cause problems.

If one was an ordinary disciple, naturally no one would interfere, but Samantha is the Sect’s future, someone they carefully nurture as their successor. To marry her away would be to dress another for the wedding, wouldn’t it?

”It’s not a big deal. Even if we are deeply in love and become Dao companions, that doesn’t necessarily mean she would have to leave Heavenly Mountain Cave.”

Isabella Roth smiled, ”It’s good that you can think like this. Otherwise, it would indeed be a difficult knot to untangle.”

Carson Flores chuckled, ”It’s like a married couple, both busy with their own careers, and neither able to give up their responsibilities. That’s quite normal. Besides, if she can’t leave, I have time, and I can stay with her just as well. There’s not much to do at Nutwood Mountain most of the time. We’re pretty idle there...”
