The Female CEO's Personal Bodyguard

Chapter 596: Chapter 596: Don’t Speak Too Soon, Getting Slapped in the Face Hurts_1

Andy Hoffman frowned as he looked at the stunningly elegant woman across from him.

”Just admit defeat. I’m afraid that in a moment, I won’t be able to hold back my punch and end up taking your life,” he said.

Leah Frost gave a slight smile, ”How do we know if we don’t try?”

Andy Hoffman’s eyes turned cold, and his voice was icy, ”Courting death! Since that’s the case, I’ll grant you your wish!”

Andy Hoffman charged forward, throwing a punch at Leah Frost.

But Leah Frost didn’t dodge; she charged towards Andy Hoffman and then unleashed a punch that was both swift and brutally powerful.

As Leah Frost struck out with her punch, a fierce wind howled, and Gang Qi surged like waves. She seemed to transform into a ferocious god of war, her killing intent was chilling, enveloping everything around her.

”Innate!”

Hank Hoffman’s face dramatically changed, and he cried out in shock, his eyes filled with disbelief.

The expressions of the many experts present also changed at once.

Leah Frost’s punch was even more fierce and violent than Andy Hoffman’s. What else could this be, if not the strength of an Innate Grandmaster?

An Innate Grandmaster in her early thirties?

Carson Flores, a 27-year-old Innate Grandmaster, or Shirley Miller, who went from an ordinary person to an Innate-level powerhouse in six months, and now Leah Frost, who had been hiding in the shadows until now...

Why have all these monsters gathered in one place?

The stoic expression on Andy Hoffman’s face changed as well.

Shock.

Terror.

Disbelief.

”Bang!”

Andy Hoffman’s body uncontrollably flew backward, his complexion turning somewhat pale.

He had been careless!

Andy Hoffman cursed inwardly; he hadn’t used his full strength with that punch. Even after he saw Leah Frost’s aggressive attack and increased his power, it was still too hasty, and he suffered a significant setback.

Before Andy Hoffman could steady himself, Leah Frost charged at him like a war god, giving him no chance to dodge or catch his breath, and struck out with another punch.

”Bang!”

Andy Hoffman retreated again.

Leah Frost continued her advance, like a hunting leopard, speeding toward her prey.

”Bang!”

The third punch!

Blood dripped from the corners of Andy Hoffman’s mouth.

”Bang!”

The fourth punch.

Andy Hoffman spit out blood.

”Bang!”

The fifth punch.

Andy Hoffman could no longer withstand Leah Frost’s ferocious assault, his body flying backward as he spat out a mouthful of fresh blood, leaving a bright red trail in the air.

Andy Hoffman lay defeated on the ground.

Before he could even try to stand up, Leah Frost descended from the sky like a flying general and stomped down.

Leah Frost’s foot landed beside Andy Hoffman, and the ground instantly caved in, soil erupting and forming a large crater.

Andy Hoffman’s body stiffened, and after a few seconds, he gave up trying to fight any further, collapsing onto the ground to catch his breath.

Leah Frost had shown mercy with that stomp.

If she hadn’t deliberately misstepped and had instead landed directly on Andy Hoffman’s chest, even if he had mustered his energy to defend, he would not have escaped death.

”Don’t speak too soon, otherwise it might just hurt your face when you get hit,” Leah Frost said, before turning and walking away, not sparing him another glance, heading towards the Frost Family members.

A stunned silence filled the area.

Everyone looked shocked, their faces filled with disbelief.

Andy Hoffman had actually lost.

Five punches!

Leah Frost took Andy Hoffman down with just five punches!

If this had been a life-or-death fight, Leah Frost’s last kick could have taken Andy Hoffman’s life.

Although Leah Frost took the advantage by surprise, utilizing Andy Hoffman’s carelessness to her benefit, everyone there, after a careful assessment, reached the conclusion that Leah Frost’s strength indeed surpassed Andy Hoffman’s.

If Andy Hoffman had not been careless, he might still have lost in the end, but not as woefully, not as cleanly; at the very least, Leah Frost would have had to pay a price to win, it wouldn’t have been as effortless as now.

The onlookers exchanged glances, suddenly realizing that for the Hoffman Family to win this competition might not be so simple.

The Hoffman Family members were silent.

They had lost the first match!

They had considered the possibility of losing the first match, but they had thought that Carson Flores and Shirley Miller would need to take action for them to possibly win. But now, out of nowhere, came the powerful Leah Frost!

Hank Hoffman’s face was ashen; by this time, he had realized he had fallen into Carson Flores’s trap!

He had been manipulated by his own certainty of victory, coaxed into agreeing for the Hoffman Family to fight first. He had thought that even if Carson Flores and Shirley Miller went first, the rest would surely lose, since there were only five of them, with just two formidable fighters. With a format of five rounds and three wins, ultimately, it would be the Hoffman Family who would emerge victorious. But now, Leah Frost had turned out to be an unexpectedly strong element in the equation!

It wasn’t just two from Carson’s side who were strong, but three!

They didn’t have five Innate Grandmasters, but six!

The difference of one gave them complete control of the initiative. When picking Hoffman Family’s players, they could choose from either the stronger ones or the weaker ones.

They had been outplayed.

Rylan Hoffman also recognized the gravity of the situation, realizing they had underestimated Carson Flores’s side even after trying to maximize their estimation of their combat power.

Rylan Hoffman calculated quietly and said in a low voice, ”We must win the second match, as long as the two of us haven’t taken our turn, the final victor will still be us!”
