Chapter 556: Chapter 556 An Inevitable Choice, Don’t Blame Me_1

Although the world saw receiving an invitation to the Kyushu Assembly as an honor, Carson Flores was not interested.

Carson Flores’s life, didn’t need others to judge.

Even if that ’other’ was the number one power in Kyushu.

Perhaps the only thing Carson Flores found interesting about Kaenu Hail was the relationship he must have with the Blessed Land of Cave Heavens?

Ordinary Cultivators were unaware of the Blessed Land of Cave Heavens, but as the universally recognized number one Innate power among mortals, he couldn’t possibly know nothing, right?

”Aunt Leah, I’m ready to make a move on the Five Dragon Sect,” Carson said.

Leah Frost frowned, ”Even if Gunner Tate is in closed-door healing, the Five Dragon Sect still has five Innate Great Grandmasters. It won’t be easy to deal with them.”

Carson Flores chuckled, ”Not counting Gunner Tate, there are only two left.”

Leah Frost widened her eyes, ”The Five Dragon Sect has six Innate Great Grandmasters. This is common knowledge. How can there only be two left if you subtract one? Your math is off.”

Carson Flores replied with a grin, ”Apart from Gunner Tate, of the other five Grandmasters, Abel Compton was won over by me, Grady Goodwin was personally killed by Abel Compton, and Ethan Roth, who has a close relationship with Abel Compton, was persuaded by him to defect. So now, there are only two left.”

Leah Frost’s eyes widened incredulously as she looked at Carson Flores, ”How did you win over Abel Compton?”

”I was going to beat him to death, but he didn’t want to die, so he gave me a submission of his own accord...”

Carson Flores briefly explained the situation, ”He delivered himself to me. I have the video of him killing Grady Goodwin, so unless it’s a life-or-death situation, he wouldn’t dare betray me.”

Leah Frost’s eyes suddenly lit up with excitement, ”You, Rocky Stein, me, Abel Compton, Ethan Roth. That means we now have five Innate Great Grandmasters at our disposal. If we find Mary Jimenez, that makes six...”

Carson Flores smiled, ”Mary Jimenez has already fought Gunner Tate to a standstill. Leave the rest to me to settle.”

Leah Frost agreed, ”Since we have the strength, there’s no need to wait. I’ll listen to you.”

Carson Flores said with a smile, ”It’s simple. Through Ethan Roth, we can figure out the whereabouts of Heath Wells and Valentina Tate and just surround and eliminate them. If we can find Gunner Tate’s healing location through them, that’d be even better, once and for all, resolving everything.”

”Good!”

...

Odin Burgess was somewhat panicked.

A few days ago, Shirley Miller appeared out of nowhere and actually managed to injure the powerful Sect Master Gunner Tate, who then went into hiding to heal his wounds. Odin Burgess didn’t know where Gunner Tate was.

Gunner Tate trusted no one.

The next day, upon receiving a call from Dexter Reid, the Family Head of the Reid Family, claiming they could capture Carson Flores, Odin Burgess was overjoyed and readily agreed to all of Dexter Reid’s demands.

As long as they could capture Carson Flores and lure Shirley Miller to her death, the Sect Master would be rid of this big trouble; everything else was a minor issue.

Then Odin Burgess received news that the Reid Family had suffered heavy casualties and that Carson Flores was now an Innate Great Grandmaster.

Odin Burgess immediately became anxious. With the Sect Master absent, if Carson Flores and Shirley Miller, husband and wife, were to unite their swords, how could he possibly withstand them?

Odin Burgess quickly contacted the other Innate Great Grandmasters within the sect, only to find that apart from Ethan Roth and Valentina Tate, both Victor Compton and Grady Goodwin were unreachable with their phones switched off.

Carson Flores had already appeared in the city of Xijing, even wreaking havoc at the Reid Family, news of which spread throughout the city, yet Odin Burgess dared not make a peep.

The Five Dragon Order’s wanted bulletin suddenly became ineffectual, and countless people were secretly waiting to see the joke unfold.

Odin Burgess was about to rest when his phone suddenly rang.

It was Abel Compton.

Odin Burgess answered the call, ”Abel, why haven’t you been in contact these past few days? You must’ve taken Grady Goodwin with you, right? Where are you guys?”

”I’m already back. Come and see me. I have something important, something to discuss face to face, about Carson Flores.”

”Good!”

Odin Burgess indeed felt puzzled. Hadn’t the Sect Master sent Abel Compton to kill Carson Flores? Abel Compton had even taken Grady Goodwin with him, but what on earth had happened afterwards?

How had Carson Flores suddenly appeared in Xijing and caused a scene at the Reid Family, yet Abel Compton and Grady Goodwin had vanished?

Odin Burgess hurriedly went to Abel Compton’s residence. Upon entering the door, he found Ethan Roth was also there.

”Ethan Roth, you’re here too.”

Ethan Roth nodded, his eyes somewhat complicated, ”Yeah.”

Odin Burgess didn’t delve into it, turning his attention to Abel Compton, ”What’s going on?”

Abel Compton smiled, ”Sit down first. Let’s wait for Sister Valentina to arrive, then we’ll talk together.”

Odin Burgess pulled up a chair and sat down, not thinking much of it, but asked, ”Where’s Grady? Weren’t you together?”

Abel Compton casually answered, ”He had some business to take care of, he’ll be back in a couple of days.”

As they were talking, the door was pushed open, and Valentina Tate walked in, her brow furrowed, ”Abel, what are you up to, summoning me here in the middle of the night...”

Abel Compton asked, ”Actually, I haven’t finished my business yet. I rushed back after hearing about the Sect Master’s trouble. Is the Sect Master badly injured, where is he now?”

Odin Burgess shook his head, ”He just said he needed to find a place to heal and then left. We don’t know where he went. You know how the Sect Master is... Hehe, let’s get to the point. What is it that you called us here for?”

Abel Compton stood up, gave a bitter smile, and said, ”Old Heath, Sister Valentina. Living in this world, we’re always forced to make choices we’d rather not. I hope you won’t blame me...”
