The Female CEO's Personal Bodyguard

Chapter 582: Chapter 582: What Are You Going to Kill Him With? _1

Carson Flores’s expression was calm, as if he had done a trivial thing of no consequence.

”Is there a problem?”

Desmond Hoffman pointed at Carson Flores, his gaze wild, ”Do you know who I am? You dare to lay a hand on me? Do you have a death wish?”

Carson Flores replied indifferently, ”Point your finger again, try me?”

Desmond Hoffman stared fiercely at Carson Flores, ”What about me pointing at you?”

Carson Flores couldn’t be bothered to speak and casually sent a slap flying out.

Desmond Hoffman’s entire body went flying with that slap, crashing to the ground, blood seeping from the corner of his mouth.

That smack from Carson Flores made everyone present shudder, their eyes filled with fear when looking at him.

This guy was a real tiger!

That was a scion of the Hoffman Family, and Carson Flores hit him without even pausing for a second, as naturally and smoothly as a father might smack his own child.

Was he truly not afraid of the Hoffman Family’s retaliation?

Desmond Hoffman’s entire head was buzzing. When had he ever suffered such humiliation?

Desmond Hoffman wanted to rage, but Carson Flores’s second slap had already told him that trying to act tough in front of Carson Flores was utterly useless.

Desmond Hoffman got up from the ground with a roll, wiping the fresh blood from the corner of his mouth, and glared at Carson Flores with venom, ”You’ve got guts. Just you wait.”

”Calling for backup?”

Carson Flores said with a smile, ”Fine, we came to eat, and there is still time, so take your time calling.”

Ignoring Desmond Hoffman, Carson Flores’s gaze fell on Messiah Frost’s face. He smiled but said nothing, taking Shirley Miller by the hand and preparing to leave.

Messiah Frost’s face turned from green to red with anger. Their ignorance of him was the greatest humiliation.

He turned to look at Desmond Hoffman, who was taking out his phone to make a call, feeling inexplicably nervous all of a sudden.

Was the situation going to escalate?

He knew Desmond Hoffman’s character all too well. Having been slapped twice in front of so many people, his reputation was in tatters. He would definitely try every possible means to regain his lost face.

But Carson Flores and Shirley Miller were both Innate Great Grandmasters, one challenged Gunner Tate, fighting to a mutual defeat, and the other killed Gunner Tate. Their strengths were formidable.

Who could restore Desmond Hoffman’s lost face then?

As Messiah Frost thought about what had just happened, a thought suddenly flashed through his mind.

Could it be that Shirley Miller did it on purpose just now?

She knew Desmond Hoffman was up to no good and yet did not reveal her full name immediately. She also exploited Mario Howell’s boastful nature to share quite a bit of information before Carson Flores made his entrance, condemning Desmond Hoffman with his words before physically tossing him aside.

It somewhat felt like there was an intentional provocation to escalate the situation.

Around them, not one of the wealthy disciples dared to make a sound, shrinking back anxiously, as lowly as quails.

If Desmond Hoffman could be beaten on Carson Flores’s say-so, what were they in comparison?

Carson Flores was a professional in wiping out clans!

They didn’t know what would become of Desmond Hoffman, but if they provoked Mr. and Mrs. Flores, they would probably go home to have their legs broken, a clear case of righteousness destroying kinship.

Messiah Frost called out to Carson Flores subconsciously, ”Carson Flores...”

He couldn’t bring himself to call him cousin, so he simply used his name.

Carson Flores turned his head to look at him.

Messiah Frost’s tone was somewhat awkward, ”It’s all a misunderstanding, no need to blow things out of proportion, right?”

Carson Flores chuckled, ”So what should we do now? I did hit him, but surely you’re not expecting me to apologize and let him hit back, are you?”

Messiah Frost was momentarily choked up.

The affair was indeed started by Desmond Hoffman’s wrongdoing. He tried to make a move on Shirley Miller, and given the status of Mr. and Mrs. Flores as Innate Great Grandmasters, killing Desmond Hoffman wouldn’t even be considered excessive.

Desmond Hoffman had been hit, and now the grudge was deep. The matter couldn’t just be dropped. Asking Carson Flores to apologize—with his personality, how could he bow his head?

If he were the type to bow, he wouldn’t have struck in the first place.

Messiah Frost was caught between a rock and a hard place and tentatively suggested, ”The Hoffman Family patriarch is a top ten master in Jiuzhou, and the family boasts over a dozen Innates...”

Carson Flores scoffed, ”So what if he’s ranked in the top ten? Does that mean they can be unreasonable? I even know the number one in Jiuzhou, who’s afraid of who?”

Messiah Frost’s heart skipped a beat, a twinge of fear flickering within him.

The number one in Jiuzhou?

Kaenu Hail?

Carson Flores knows Kaenu Hail?

It must be fake!

Messiah Frost forced a laugh, ”I just think it’s better to have one more friend than one more enemy.”

Carson Flores let out a heh, ”You’d be better off advising him with the effort you’re putting into advising me.”

Carson Flores no longer paid attention to Messiah Frost, joined Shirley Miller at their previous table, and began ordering with serene composure.

Messiah Frost watched Desmond Hoffman, whose eyes were brimming with viciousness. Just as he was about to speak up, Desmond Hoffman sternly interrupted, ”This matter is non-negotiable, I must kill him!”

Messiah Frost was at a loss for words for a moment—what could you possibly use to kill him?

You might indeed be a Hoffman scion, but you’re just a junior in the Hoffman Family. Do you have the clout to make a bunch of Innate Great Grandmasters take up your cause, or do you think you can call upon the Hoffman Family patriarch to back you up?

Considering his options, Messiah Frost took out his phone and quickly sent a message to his wife, Melody Hoffman.

Desmond Hoffman put down his phone, his eyes filled with malice as he stared at Carson Flores not far away, ”My grandfather is coming soon. I’d like to see if he’s still so tough...”
