The Female CEO's Personal Bodyguard

Chapter 572: Chapter 572: We give him a chance to make a move_1

Aurelio Compton didn’t say a word.

He was well aware that at this moment, he had become the biggest joke, wanting to teach others a lesson only to be taught one himself within minutes.

The more he spoke, the more embarrassing it got, so he simply kept quiet.

Seeing this, Carson Flores stopped paying him any attention and walked back amidst all the astonished gazes.

Gunner Tate watched Carson with bright eyes, not bothering to hide the intense murderous intent in his eyes.

The better Carson performed, the more satisfying it would be to kill him.

Once Westin Flores and Lucy Frost found out how outstanding their child was, but had been killed by him instead, the regret in their hearts would surely be immense, a feeling that would last a lifetime!

This was exactly the effect Gunner Tate wanted!

Kaenu Hail smiled, but even his eyes couldn’t hide the undisguised surprise.

Although in this battle, Carson Flores had been slightly cunning, using his agility to wear down Aurelio Compton’s momentum, and striking him unexpectedly with a punch when Compton no longer had the edge and wasn’t going all out, the strength displayed by that punch was genuine.

To injure Aurelio Compton with a single punch, not many here could manage that.

Kaenu Hail glanced sideways at Gunner Tate without saying a word.

With such strength, even if he couldn’t kill Gunner Tate, it seemed he would be able to put up a good fight; no wonder Carson Flores was unwilling to accept his help.

There was no hurry, though. It was enough to keep an eye on him; there would always be opportunities.

After all, he was just an extra piece, and whatever the outcome, it would be acceptable.

Everyone’s gaze towards Carson Flores had changed.

Admiration, shock, caution...

The professional exterminator’s strength was really not to be underestimated; no wonder he had been able to rise against the odds all along, wiping out so many, each time seemingly defeating stronger opponents, but in the end, it would always be the other party completely destroyed while he emerged unharmed!

He was already so formidable, and he had a wife who might be even more ferocious than him. Who could provoke such a monstrous couple?

Kaenu Hail said with a smile, ”Take Mr. Compton down for treatment, and everyone is free to walk around the island.”

Carson Flores noticed the changes in everyone’s gazes toward him but didn’t care much about it.

He had intended to show off his power with this action, believing that with these people’s status, after this event, his and Shirley Miller’s names would spread throughout the cultivation world.

Wouldn’t that reduce the number of those who couldn’t see clearly by a lot?

Lewis Schneider from the Water Moon Sect, who had chatted with Carson Flores before, came over with a smile, ”Mr. Flores, that punch of yours was truly an eye-opener for me.”

Carson Flores smiled modestly, ”It was just a trick.”

The two chatted casually for a while, and the atmosphere was quite pleasant.

After lunch, the meeting would take place in the afternoon.

With his performance in the morning, Carson Flores had shown his strength, and not a single person dared to underestimate him anymore. No matter what they thought of him internally, they were all polite on the surface when they interacted with him.

The content of the meeting was nothing more than a summary of the work of the past year at the Kyushu Conference and the arrangements for the next year, and several prospective members were selected to join the Kyushu Conference. Carson Flores was not interested in any of this.

After the meeting ended, there were activities arranged by the Kyushu Conference, partly to relax everyone and partly to provide an opportunity for networking.

As a young man, Carson Flores sandwiched among a bunch of old men stood out conspicuously; along the way, not many people engaged deeply with him.

Carson Flores and Shirley Miller had exterminated so many on their past journey, causing so much trouble, with incessant problems, and moreover, since neither of them had a family or business to speak of, how could there be cooperation?

Cooperation in exterminating others?

Moreover, there was the big trouble with Gunner Tate right before him.

At this time, who would draw close and display intimacy with Carson Flores? Wouldn’t that be asking for unnecessary trouble from Gunner Tate?

Carson Flores was lying on a hammock resting when his phone rang.

He reached for his phone, and his eyes suddenly lit up.

Shirley Miller!

Pretending not to care, Carson Flores glanced around to confirm no one was nearby, especially that Gunner Tate was not there, before answering the call.

”Mary?”

The gentle voice of Shirley Miller sounded, ”Mhm.”

Carson Flores asked with concern, ”Where are you, how are your injuries now?”

Shirley Miller laughed softly, ”My injuries are fine now. After I got out, I went to the Five Dragon Sect, only to find that the sect had been wiped out. Then I saw your note and decided to give you a call... where are you now?”

Relieved to hear she was fine, Carson Flores replied, ”I’m on Bin Ya Island soaking up the sun.”

Shirley Miller asked curiously, ”On vacation?”

After Carson Flores briefly explained the matter of the Kyushu Conference, Shirley Miller’s tone suddenly became a bit anxious upon hearing that Gunner Tate was also there, ”Gunner Tate is very strong, you must be careful.”

Carson Flores said softly, ”Gunner Tate is heartless and ruthless. If I don’t give him hope of killing me, I’m afraid he will do something desperate, so I plan to give him an opportunity. Now that you have appeared, we can set a trap for him.”

Sending Shirley Miller had already headed back to the Five Dragon Sect after her wounds healed, clearly determined to help Carson Flores get rid of Gunner Tate. Since she already possessed such formidable power, Carson Flores didn’t bother with courtesies.

Shirley Miller answered without hesitation, ”You say, I’ll listen to you.”

Carson Flores spoke softly, ”Fly to Bin Ya. The conference ends tomorrow, and Gunner Tate will definitely be watching me. We’ll give him a chance to make a move...”
