Return of the Antagonistic Lady Boss

Chapter 626: Chapter 600: Qian and the Mischief

Actually, the project went wrong because of that senior, and Qian along with the other teammates had to redo it. As the team lead designated by the big boss, it was already restrained of Qian to just give her a few glares.

Yet it still drew dissatisfaction from the senior. Seeing the big boss having a closed-door talk with Qian, she couldn’t suppress her jealousy.

The girl who had been silently eating behind them paused her chewing and listened quietly.

”Cixi would have palace maids use water held in their mouths to soften the paper she used in the toilet. Those palace maids usually practiced this skill to see whose spray was more even, so those who served Cixi well were the best at this spraying task!”

”Ugh, that’s disgusting~ Doesn’t that mean Cixi used other people’s spit to wipe her butt?”

The two women laughed gossipingly, and the girl eating behind them also laughed but continued to eat indifferently as the three walked away.

Shi Tou was so angry her lungs were about to burst.

These people were too much! Everyone knew Qian was outstanding, and the big boss favoring Qian was all due to Qian’s hard work!

Having lived with Qian for nearly four years, no one knew better than Shi Tou how dedicated and responsible Qian was. Others only saw her excellence but not her efforts. Even at night, she often read late into the night, extremely disciplined.

The big boss liked Qian, but why didn’t these people mention how the big boss worked Qian hard?

She had more assignments than others, and her tasks were more difficult. While these people played on their computers in the dorms, Qian had to complete the therapeutic tasks assigned by the big boss, and during this period, she was interning at the radio station late into the night!

Yet in these envious people’s mouths, Qian became a sycophant who climbed the ladder through flattery?

Shi Tou clenched her fists, looking around the ground in frustration, to see if there was a brick that could wound but not kill someone?

Just as she was about to confront those gossiping women, she suddenly heard one of them say.

”Starry Dreams has launched a new milk tea. It seems quite tasty. Shall we try it?”

”Sure, I have a discount card from there!”

Shi Tou squinted and smirked.

Starry Dreams was the milk tea shop she opened at the school gate. If they were going there? Great, they’re walking right into it!

After those people walked away, Shi Tou called her employee at the shop.

”Li, three women will come over later. One looks like a pig in a black dress, one looks like a monkey in a white shirt and dark jeans, and the third is a foodie with a crossbody bag. When these three come to our shop to consume, just spit into their cups when no one’s looking, got it?”

”... Boss lady, isn’t this wrong?”

”Nothing wrong with that! Punishing evil is promoting good! Also, if they order snacks, use your unwashed hands from the bathroom to grab them, yes, even if you have diarrhea it’s fine. At worst, I’ll compensate by giving them a few packs of Imodium!”

If they offend my Qian, spit at them no matter how far!

Shi Tou hung up the phone, still feeling unsatisfied, thinking about stirring up something else to vent Qian’s anger when Qian came out.

”What are you up to, with your cheeks puffed like the hamster you’re raising?” Qian poked Shi Tou’s cheek.

While Shi Tou was planning outside, she couldn’t keep secrets from Qian like a child and spilled everything that just happened.

Qian snorted, ”There’s no need to stoop to their level. Many people who are jealous of me and dislike me, they’re just nobodies.”

The dominating Qian was too lazy to engage with such petty people.

Upon hearing their descriptions, she knew who they were.

Wait—something about this sounded useful?

Qian’s eyes gleamed as she thought about the big boss’s threat to let her go, and a plan suddenly formed in her mind!

Shi Touyu’s description of those individuals made Qian immediately realize who they were, likely two PhD students under the big boss and a graduate student under a small boss, named Lv Xiaocha.

In front of the teachers, these people pretended to be friendly with Qian, knowing she had the big boss’s ear, and tried hard to cozy up to her, especially in front of the big boss, as if this would make the boss treat them better.

But it didn’t.

Although the big boss liked Qian, she was very businesslike about academic matters. If Qian didn’t meet expectations, she was criticized, let alone those who pretended to be close to Qian. They made mistakes and were criticized just the same, so trying to cozy up to Qian was the most futile move. Knowing their two-faced nature, Qian didn’t bother responding to them, not even pretending.

However, when Shi Tou mentioned a backpack-wearing, food-loving silent girl, Qian adjusted her glasses.

That was foodie Lv Xiaocha, and hearing she acted this way behind her back was a bit surprising to Qian. She could only exchange a few words with her and thought food lovers were generally simple, but didn’t expect this...

Heh!

Not all foodies were as likable as Yu Liumei. Qian felt slapped, realizing she hadn’t noticed such a large green tea buried beside her. But it’s just as well, this green tea could be useful. She hopes Lv Xiaocha would stick to her plan.

Underneath her glasses, Qian’s eyes were sharp and glistened.

”Let’s go, Qian. Let’s see the show. Hopefully, those two idiots in my store end up puking and having diarrhea!” Shi Tou linked arms with Qian, heading towards her shop.

Qian and Shi Tou entered Shi Tou’s shop through the back door.

Using the back door allowed them closer access, leading into the operational area of the shop instead of the main hall, so the customers couldn’t see Qian and Shi Tou.

”Li, did you get it done?” Shi Tou asked her employee as soon as she entered.

”Done... is this really okay? Boss lady, I have principles!”

”If you do it well, you get a 50 bonus!”

”Don’t worry, boss lady, I not only spat, but I also handled it without any issues!” Principle-having Li was quite proud.

Shi Tou was satisfied, while Qian shook her head, ”You really don’t act like someone who’s about to be a bride, still like a kid.”

”Even as a bride, I can’t let them insult my sister like that! Qian, accompany me to the bathroom!”

Qian chuckled, still a child’s temperament, needing an entourage even to go to the bathroom.

The shop’s restroom had three stalls. When Qian and Shi Tou entered, someone was already in there. Shi Tou acted quickly, pulling up her zipper when she suddenly heard a voice from the neighboring stall.

”Oh no, my tissue fell in. Does the girl outside have any tissue?”

This voice—

Shi Tou immediately recognized it; wasn’t this the one gossiping and mocking Qian behind her back?

Whoa, did she get diarrhea so fast? Li did an excellent job with those filthy hands, making them need the toilet right after drinking? The splashing sound was music to Shi Tou’s ears!

Shi Touyu prepared to speak but then heard someone kick the door. Was it Qian? What was she going to do?
