Return of the Antagonistic Lady Boss

Chapter 394: Chapter 368: Mutual Respect

The apartment Mrs. Yu gave to Qian is on the 3rd floor of a 6-story premium residence. The height is just right, and the area isn’t particularly large. After deducting the shared space, it’s about 70 square meters. It’s a 2-bedroom, fully furnished with European-style decoration, ready to move in. Yu Minglang led Qian up to view the apartment.

This apartment was decided on a long time ago. When Wang Xiaohong got married, she wasn’t given it. But Qian received it just after getting engaged. Truly, you can’t compare people. As Mrs. Yu put it, seeing Qian gives a sense that she’s family. They didn’t give it to Wang Xiaohong because it was too clear—knowing her personality, it would end up with her family after being given to her, like a bottomless pit, no matter how much was given.

As soon as Qian entered, Yu Minglang stuck close to her, eager to take advantage. Qian was initially going to go along and give him a little sweetness, but then she remembered how he made her touch the rat. How could she forget such a grudge!

What’s more, he made her feel so nauseated and still had a wronged look on his face. When Qian went into the bathroom to wash her hands, he stood beside her, watching her with a sympathetic expression.

With a glance from the corner of her eye, Qian could immediately tell that this guy definitely thought she was having an OCD episode again, silently wanting to accompany her.

But her compulsion was scared off by him!

Touching the rat, shouldn’t one wash their hands? She really didn’t like the thing and didn’t understand why anyone would want to keep it as a pet. It’s not cute at all!

However, Qian is not a simple-minded person. She quickly thought that if she stayed silently angry, with Yu Xiaoqiang’s emotional intelligence halved when dealing with her, he definitely wouldn’t understand why she was upset.

So, to deal with him, she needed some counterattack, hmm, she had to take the initiative!

Thinking so, Qian flicked the water in her hands at his face. Seeing him squinting from the water’s stimulation, she found it amusing, like a large dog with an innocent face when splashed with water.

But even then, Qian still felt unsatisfied. To be precise, whenever she saw Minglang’s handsome, innocent-looking face, she felt like teasing him more.

Yu Minglang watched her turn on the tap again, wondering what triggered her OCD this time?

Qian splashed a big handful of water at him, drenching Yu Minglang’s short hair so that water dripped down his broad forehead. Even if Yu Xiaoqiang were any more naïve, he could guess she was deliberately causing trouble.

He ruffled his hair with his hand, looked at her with a dangerous yet mischievous glance, and said in a low voice.

”Eh? You little rascal!”

Occasionally, when Xiaoqiang gets serious, it can make people utterly infatuated. Qian’s heart raced, yet she still pretended naivety, blinking, ”What? How am I naughty?”

Just openly bullying you, that’s all~

But in love, isn’t teasing and being naughty all just acts of fondness?

Two people, two hearts, working towards the same goal, all with the premise of respecting each other, earnestly wishing to take care of one another.

She is happy, and so is he. She laughs, and so does he. That’s the best it can be.

Even when joking, it’s a joyful taste. He couldn’t even remember the last time he laughed like this with someone, and neither could she.

Crying is because of her, laughing is because of her, liking is because of her, feeling hurt is also because of her. A thousand emotions mixed together—that’s love, that’s romance, that’s happiness.
