Return of the Antagonistic Lady Boss

Chapter 175: Chapter 174: Caught in the Act

As long as we can find the person who makes Dong Yi feel warm in their embrace, and have them bring warmth to Dong Yi, telling her that her parents’ death was a natural disaster and not her fault, Qian just needs to ease the pressure twice, and Dong Yi’s sleepwalking can be cured!

Qian thought about this, feeling a bit excited but also uneasy.

It’s been more than ten years, can we still find those people from back then?

There were so many involved in the rescue, it’s hard to find them. If the uncle who held Dong Yi back then is already dead, this would be a tough situation.

So, Qian asked with a sense of urgency.

”Da Yi, do you remember the name of the person who saved you?”

”Are you asking about little uncle?”

”Yes, yes!” Qian nodded.

Even if it’s hard to find, we must try. Thankfully, there’s Yu Minglang, so asking him to help find someone shouldn’t be difficult.

Yu Minglang’s father was also a pilot back then, probably knew a lot of people. As long as he can help, things will be easier. Qian decided to appeal to reason and emotions, use every method she could think of, overcome all difficulties, even thinking of the stubborn old man who loves braised pork, Qian was determined to go all out.

If necessary, she would eat a plate of greasy braised pork in front of Mr. Yu, then come back home and take digestive tablets, no matter what, she needs him to help!

Dong Yi looked at Qian strangely, ”Don’t you know each other?”

”What?”

”Your boyfriend’s brother, Yu Mingyi, is my little uncle.”

After Dong Yi said this, Qian’s eyes crossed.

Who?!

”I thought your little uncle looked a lot like your boyfriend, that’s why I got along so well with you, Boss Qian?”

Dong Yi waved a hand in front of Qian’s eyes. Qian finally snapped out of it, she could hardly believe it, this kind of coincidence, how did she run into it!

”Are you sure the little uncle who held you back then was Mr. Yu?”

”It’s little uncle, he looks a bit different, but I can recognize him, it’s definitely him!”

Got it without even trying, this is wonderful, Dong Yi is saved!

She had initially thought there was something special between Dong Yi and Mr. Yu, thinking maybe Dong Yi was attracted to Mr. Yu’s looks, but who knew it was like this!

The door suddenly opened, and Professor Liu Linlin walked in. Seeing her, Qian almost choked.

Why is Professor Liu here?

Professor Liu had diagnosed Panpan in Q City and devised a treatment plan. Upon her return, Mrs. Yu asked her to bring a box of Aksu sugar heart apples to Qian. Originally, Professor Liu intended to call Qian to pick it up from her office.

However, she happened to overhear a student saying that this dorm building had paranormal events, and as a professor, she only believes in science, not in superstitious nonsense. Planning to personally take a look and deliver the apples to Qian, she was stopped by Shi Yu at the dorm door.

Shi Yu was in charge of guarding the door. Qian had said no one was allowed in during her mental guidance sessions.

Professor Liu, seeing she was barred from entering, naturally felt unwilling.

”What’s going on inside?”

With pride, Xiaoyu answered, ”Our Boss Qian is performing psychological treatment, no entry for idle persons.”

Hearing this, Professor Liu got angry.

A first-year student, with only half-filled knowledge, dares to treat people. Such actions are equivalent to practicing medicine without a license. If something goes wrong in the treatment, it would be a huge problem.

Trying to break in, she was pushed out by Shi Touyu, who, in a heroic mission-like manner, embodying a character from the Hongxing Thirteen Sisters, pointed at Professor Liu and said, ”Listen up, old lady, I don’t care who you are. When Boss Qian is treating patients, no one can stop her. If you want to go in, you’ll have to step over my body.”

Professor Liu was both amused and exasperated by this silly girl who didn’t recognize her.

”What kind of illness does the person inside have? I’m a professional psychologist and can help.”

Shi Touyu proudly replied to Professor Liu, ”No need, our Boss Qian is even better than a psychologist. She made an accurate judgment last night.”

Shi Touyu, usually loose-lipped, showed some loyalty at this moment. Can she tell you what kind of illness her friend has?

So, Professor Liu glanced at Shi Yu’s severe dark circles around her eyes and asked in a roundabout way, ”Are you having trouble with your sleep quality?”

”Didn’t sleep last night, kept Boss Qian company finding sleepwalking—oops, not telling you!”

No sleep? That’s easier to handle, Professor Liu thought.

”Young girl, have you heard of the Sivag Mind Skill?”

”What is that? Schwarzenegger? Isn’t he the muscled guy in movies?”

”It’s a fun game where you can hypnotize yourself. Want to try?”

”Hypnotize myself? I don’t believe it.” The naive landlord’s daughter, easily duped.

”Come, close your eyes, gently breathe out, and repeatedly say in your mind, 333, 222, 111, come on, very good, again...”

Professor Liu, seeing Shi Yu foolishly taking the bait, said, ”Imagine a number you like and paint it in your favorite color in your mind.”

”2, the two of my goofy brother, the yellow of yellow.”

”Very good, let’s do it again...”

This method only works for some people, and the naive daughter of the landlord was particularly easy to hypnotize, especially since she hadn’t slept the night before, making it even easier. As expected, a few minutes later, Shi Touyu, standing, was hypnotized and felt extremely sleepy.

”Your body feels tired, right?”

”Hmm... I’m not telling you, not even if you kill me...”

Professor Liu snapped her fingers near Shi Touyu’s ear, ”From now on, you will feel very relaxed and dream about things you like. You’ll only wake up when you hear this sound again. Sit down and sleep...”

So, Professor Liu openly approached Qian’s dorm room and listened at the door.

If Qian handled things improperly, misguiding emotions, she would push the door open. But Qian, from beginning to end, handled it very well.

Especially when Qian asked who the rescue personnel was, Professor Liu was very surprised.

These practical treatments, though appearing simple, are not something a first-year kid could typically handle. Even her own students, with solid theories, might not execute so smoothly. Finding the most crucial point among a bunch of clues is something that requires a lot of practice and clinical experience.

Recalling Qian’s previous diagnosis for Panpan, Professor Liu became even more eager to get to know Qian, thus pushed the door open.

Qian had just finished a phase of emotional relief and was happy that Dong Yi was saved, only to find her mentor had walked in.

”Professor Liu, you, why are you here?”

”Your mother-in-law asked me to bring you some apples.” Professor Liu raised the bag she was holding.

Qian felt an inexplicable embarrassment, ”Well, she’s not my mother-in-law yet...”

Caught in the act, Qian was done for. Professor Liu most detested unqualified psychological practitioners treating people recklessly. This old lady was so stubborn, always wanting to make a good impression. Instead, she ended up with negative scores without having done anything...
