The Lovely Heiress Is Actually A God Beast

Chapter 35: Chapter 35: She’s Not My Sister

In a past life, Tao Yinyin’s aunt worked as a maid in a wealthy household. The lady of the house, Liu Mingzhu, was pregnant, and the maid’s sister-in-law was also expecting.

As a result, the maid’s family harbored sinister thoughts.

On the day that Liu Mingzhu gave birth, the maid did not call Tao Tiancheng. Instead, amid the chaos, after Liu Mingzhu had given birth, the maid swapped her own niece with the newborn.

Only after the swap was completed did she call Tao Tiancheng and Liu Mingzhu’s parents.

When everyone arrived at the hospital, they saw Tao Yinyin, who had already been swapped, and when Liu Mingzhu woke up, she too saw Tao Yinyin. Only Tao Bin, returning from Shaolin Temple, felt something was amiss, saying his little sister did not resemble them when they were two hours old.

At that time, Liu Mingzhu laughed and said that they were boys and Tao Yinyin was a girl; they were different.

...

Being young at the time, Tao Bin did not dwell on it any further.

Thinking of this, Tao Shen clenched his fist. Tao Yinyin was the daughter of the maid’s brother and sister-in-law. If they had only swapped the babies, with their family’s means, they could have provided Tao Ti with a relatively better life.

Yet, they had actually sold Tao Ti to the mountains!

The maid continued to serve in the wealthy household, caring for her niece, Tao Yinyin. When she saw a female group member on TV, she thought the face looked too much like a young Liu Mingzhu. Counting the age and inquiring about Tao Ti, she easily guessed that Tao Ti was the child who had been sold to the mountains.

The maid grew anxious, fearing the truth would come to light, and finally confided the truth to her niece, Tao Yinyin.

After learning the truth, Tao Yinyin arranged for someone to become Tao Ti’s assistant, obtained some ambiguous photos, bribed Tao Ti’s foster parents to slander her, and had the assistant say things to provoke Tao Ti when she was at her lowest.

The universally maligned Tao Ti was secretly given medication for depression by the assistant. Such medication is poisonous to a healthy person, causing illness where there was none.

Adding to this, Tao Yinyin deceived him, making him think Tao Ti had stolen the man his sister loved and bullied her. So, he cut off all resources for Tao Ti, plunging her into the abyss.

Penniless and delirious from the medication, Tao Ti died after being hit by a car on a cold night.

As the memories of his previous life grew clearer, Tao Shen suddenly stood up.

Liu Mingzhu, who had come to the hospital to visit her son, saw this and rushed over to stop him, “You’re still injured, what’s the hurry!”

Tao Shen looked at Liu Mingzhu, and his eyes suddenly reddened.

In a past life, after his mother learned the truth, she became so consumed by guilt and sadness that she gradually forgot the events, eventually developing Alzheimer’s disease.

“Mother, Tao Ti! We must save her!”

“Tao Ti?” Liu Mingzhu was baffled, the name sounded familiar, and then it hit her, “Oh, I know who you’re talking about, is it that Tao Ti who’s been causing a stir on the internet recently?”

“She is my sister, she is my real sister!” Tao Shen shouted uncontrollably.

Liu Mingzhu looked at him in astonishment and hurriedly pressed the call button, “Doctor, there must be something wrong with my son’s brain. Come quickly!”

“Mother, listen to me, Tao Ti is my sister. She was the one the maid took away when she was born! Tao Yinyin is not my sister at all, she is the maid’s niece!”

Liu Mingzhu looked at him as if he were a fool, “I know you blame your sister for being naughty and stealing your drawing homework, which caused you to fall, but do you have to go to such lengths? Are you that desperate for her not to be your sister?”

“She really isn’t my sister!” Tao Shen roared.

Tao Tiancheng and the doctor arrived at the door at the same time, only to see Tao Shen in a fit of rage, both concluding there was something wrong with his head.
