The Lovely Heiress Is Actually A God Beast

Chapter 21: Chapter 21 I Have a Little Secret

Cheng Guodong arrived at the restaurant and saw Cheng Lu and King of Film Xu looking worried, trying to persuade Tao Ti to go to the hospital. He hurriedly took out the medical report from yesterday he had gotten from the hospital and handed it over for both to see.

Cheng Guodong emphasized, ”My little sister eats a lot, has great strength, and is extremely healthy!”

Cheng Lu took the medical report and examined it carefully, line by line, finally confirming that Tao Ti was healthy, and then she relaxed.

King of Film Xu thought about Tao Ti’s unusual strength, recalling those radishes that he, a big man, couldn’t pull out of the ground, but she could easily pull them out one by one with her hands. He then believed Cheng Guodong’s words that Tao Ti was strong because she ate a lot.

As the biggest investor, Cheng Guodong wanted to take Tao Ti away, and neither the directors nor anyone else objected.

Before leaving the restaurant, Cheng Guodong asked, ”Little sister, do you like the food here?”

Tao Ti nodded vigorously, ”I like it!”

Cheng Guodong waved his hand grandly and said to the lobby manager, ”This month, double the bonus for all the staff at the restaurant!”

King of Film Xu exclaimed, ”So this place is also under Chairman Cheng’s financial power!”

Being Cheng Guodong’s relative, Cheng Lu felt dazzled by his imposing boss demeanor and said in a lowered voice, ”Coming from a farmer’s background, he’s usually a very thrifty person.”

”It seems he really dotes on Little Taotie!”

Cheng Lu nodded, ”I’ve heard from family that when he was a child, he would always follow his mom around, nagging her to give him a little sister. But his mom was originally DINK, having him was accidental, so how could she have another? It must be his childhood obsession fulfilled through Little Taotie.”

King of Film Xu joked, ”He considers Little Taotie his little sister and she calls you mom. Your family hierarchy is really quite mixed up.”

Cheng Lu smirked, ”You can’t take the titles in the show seriously. Little Taotie also calls you dad, does that make you and I husband and wife?”

King of Film Xu squinted his eyes, ”If you’re willing, from the year we graduated, we would have been.”

Cheng Lu glanced at him indifferently, without saying another word.

King of Film Xu sighed and said no more.

Cheng Guodong had Tao Ti sit in the car’s child safety seat in the back, fastened the seatbelt, and patted her head softly, ”Let’s go home!”

Tao Ti remembered the children she saw at the company the day before and the dream she had. Wanting to verify the method of absorbing resentment from her dream, she asked softly, ”Can I go to the company for a bit?”

”That place is not a good place, let’s not go there.”

”I have something else to do, those brothers and sisters from yesterday want to save me, and I want to help them.”

Cheng Guodong thought the brothers and sisters Tao Ti mentioned were the child stars at the company, assuming some children had helped her the day before.

He hesitated for a moment, saw the child’s eyes full of hope staring intensely at him, and finally relented, nodding, ”Alright, if you want to go, then let’s go.”

”Big brother, thank you!” Tao Ti cheered.

Hearing her calling him big brother in her childish voice made Cheng Guodong’s mood soar, his lips crazily curling upward.

The car stopped below the company’s building, and Cheng Guodong held Tao Ti’s hand.

”I want to go by myself...”

Cheng Guodong immediately objected, ”This place is not safe, you can’t let go of my hand.”

Tao Ti hung her little head, looking gloomy.

”Big brother, I have a little secret I don’t want you to know.”

”Then I am even more worried!” Cheng Guodong held her tiny hand tighter, pretending to be upset, ”Big brother has been so good to you, and you actually have secrets you won’t tell me, I am going to be heartbroken!”

Believing him, Tao Ti clenched her fists in her clothes, hesitant, ”Then... I’ll tell you, don’t be sad...”
