The Lovely Heiress Is Actually A God Beast

Chapter 30: Chapter 30 Little Taotie Gets Isolated

The village’s celebration was about to begin, and without prior arrangement, all groups decided unanimously to have their child stars perform.

The other five children were also multi-talented child stars, who had been singing and dancing from a young age.

Yang Yu was seven years old this year and had become famous for participating in a family comedy, playing the role of the daughter.

However, later on, the investor’s daughter wanted to act in the play, and on a snowy day, she and her mother were kicked out of the production team. Thus, at a tender age, Yang Yu understood the complexities of human relationships and the harsh realities of life.

She despised those who secured roles through backdoor deals and monetary influence.

When she heard the rumor that Tao Ti had recognized the investor as her godfather, Yang Yu took an instant dislike to Tao Ti.

...

The adults were all outside helping the villagers, arranging tables and tidying up the venue.

The six children were preparing backstage. Tao Ti was the isolated one.

Five children huddled together, talking and laughing, while Tao Ti sat alone in front of the makeup mirror, absent-mindedly twirling a ribbon in her hand.

She didn’t feel unhappy, just a bit down.

At home, her younger brothers and sisters didn’t like her. Later, when she went to the company, everyone was controlled and not allowed to play, so she had no chance to make new friends.

Here, she had met five older boys and girls. At first, they were kind to her, but now… suddenly they did not like her anymore.

Tao Ti was not aware of the external troubles. She didn’t have a phone, nor had anyone spoken to her directly about anything.

She simply thought she was unpopular and that no one wanted to be friends with her.

Yang Yu formed cliques, uniting everyone to isolate Tao Ti, wanting to see Tao Ti show sadness, but she did not see the desired expression of distress or anger on Tao Ti’s face.

Feeling frustrated, Yang Yu marched over to Tao Ti and kicked over the chair next to her, creating a loud noise, intending to intimidate Tao Ti.

Yang Yu viewed Tao Ti as that investor’s daughter who had driven her and her mother out of the production team on a snowy day. Bullying Tao Ti seemed like avenging her past grievances.

Tao Ti furrowed her brows and stood up.

Thinking Tao Ti was about to run, Yang Yu’s lips began to curl into a smirk, but then she saw Tao Ti squat down, pick up the chair, and with a tone of reprimand, say, “It’s wrong to destroy public property. You need to be careful.”

“I want to destroy!” Yang Yu yelled, throwing the chair down hard on the floor and provocatively looking at Tao Ti.

Tao Ti paused, looking at her as if she were looking at her troublesome younger sister, and said patiently, “Destroying public property is expensive, you know. It costs a lot.”

As she spoke, she lifted the chair up again.

Furious, Yang Yu reached out to snatch the chair back to slam it down again, but Tao Ti held on tightly to the chair handle and wouldn’t let go.

One held on, the other pulled, and suddenly a “crack” was heard.

Tao Ti looked in surprise at the lone chair handle in her hand.

Yang Yu, having exerted too much force, broke the handle, and forgetting to stabilize herself, she fell to the ground with the chair on top of her.

She fell to the floor, the chair landing heavily on her. She was severely hurt.

Yang Yu looked at Tao Ti, who was unharmed, then at herself, covered in bruises. Today, she was supposed to dance, dressed in clothes that exposed her arms and legs. With this fall, her white dress was dirty and torn; her arms and legs were grazed and bleeding.

“Tao Ti! You did this on purpose, making it impossible for me to perform! I won’t let you get away with this!”

Yang Yu lunged at Tao Ti, like a madwoman, her fingers clawing towards Tao Ti’s face, trying to scratch her.
