The Lovely Heiress Is Actually A God Beast

Chapter 16: Chapter 16 A New Experience for Taste Buds

The spoon gently poked the egg custard, Tao Ti licked her lips eagerly and scooped a spoonful into her mouth.

The fragrance of eggs and milk, so sweet and smooth!

Delicious!

So delicious!

Tao Ti’s eyes got brighter and brighter, and soon she had finished an entire egg custard.

Cheng Guodong handed her the milk custard, laughing, ”This one is also tasty, give it a try!”

After finishing one, Cheng Guodong stuffed a mango pudding into her hands.

Tao Ti ate one after another, feeling thankful for her big appetite, otherwise she wouldn’t have been able to taste all these delicacies.

She cleared the table like she had cheat codes, leaving it empty in no time.

Cheng Guodong, who had only eaten half of a bunny bun, stared dazed at the half remaining in his hand, then at Tao Ti wiping her small mouth with a napkin, her face filled with contentment, and was once again amazed at Tao Ti’s ”Huge Volume.”

Cheng Guodong’s phone rang incessantly; after finishing his bunny bun, he finally answered the call—it was an urgent call from the director.

”Chairman Cheng, we’re about to start filming, can you bring Tao Ti over to us?”

”Got it.”

”Please, hurry up!”

”OK!”

After hanging up, Cheng Guodong called for the nanny, asking her to take the child to the room to change clothes.

As she opened the wardrobe, an array of pretty dresses met her eyes; another door opened to reveal beautiful tops with matching trousers and shorts.

Tao Ti was dazzled and heard the kindly nanny ask, ”Which one do you like?”

”I...” Tao Ti looked around, struggling to decide.

What to do, they were all so pretty!

All of them were beautiful clothes she had never seen before!

”I can’t choose, they all look so good!”

The nanny smiled, ”Then, shall I pick one for you?”

Tao Ti nodded vigorously, her eyes gleaming with anticipation.

”The weather outside is neither cold nor hot, but the mountains are always cooler than the city. Wearing a dress might make you sick, let’s choose this set then.”

The outfit the nanny chose had a Chanel style; the top was primarily pink and white, and the trousers were matching pencil pants with white as the main color.

Once dressed in this outfit, Xiao Tao Ti instantly transformed from a little country girl into a little socialite.

Tao Ti peered at herself in the mirror over and over, the little girl having already learned to admire her own beauty.

...

Cheng Guodong took Tao Ti by the hand back to the shooting location, where the director welcomed them with enthusiasm as if seeing his reborn parents, ”Chairman Cheng, you’ve finally brought Tao Ti to me!”

”Sorry, I was a bit held up with some things.” He couldn’t very well say that he had deliberately not woken Tao Ti so she could sleep in.

When the director looked at Tao Ti, he barely recognized her and exclaimed in awe, ”Clothes make the man, or in this case, the little girl! Look at Tao Ti, all dressed up like a little princess!”

The cameramen also chipped in, laughing and joking around.

Tao Ti’s cheeks were flushed, she shyly hid behind Cheng Guodong, peeking out at the director and quickly ducking back to her hiding spot.

The director really liked Tao Ti, especially the way she peered over with those little puppy eyes that were just heart-melting!

”Alright, it’s almost time; everyone get ready, we’re about to start filming!” The director clapped his hands and sent everyone off to their tasks.

Cheng Lu and King of Film Xu took the child from Cheng Guodong’s hands and led Tao Ti back to their room from the previous night.

The cameraman knocked on the door, and Tao Ti bounced over to open it, and the cameraman revealed a smile, ”Little hero, we’re about to start filming, are you ready?”

Tao Ti nodded her head, obediently replying, ”All set!”

”Alrighty!” The cameraman turned on the camera and began the official shoot.

King of Film Xu stepped in front of the camera and greeted, ”Good morning!”

The camera panned up and down as though nodding, and then a letter appeared on screen, ”This is today’s task; you can only eat after completing it!”

King of Film Xu took the task envelope, with Cheng Lu leaning in to look. As they caught sight of the number on the paper, they exchanged a glance that was full of despair.

King of Film Xu laughed wryly, ”The production team is ruthless! They want us to pull up five hundred carrots!”

Cheng Lu’s face turned to one of gloomy resignation, ”It seems we’re going to be hungry today.”
