The Lovely Heiress Is Actually A God Beast

Chapter 20: Chapter 20: The Eldest Brother is the Agent

”Are you full?” Cheng Lu asked.

Tao Ti pursed her lips and did not answer.

Cheng Lu understood, she was not full yet!

With the intention of making the production crew bleed, Cheng Lu ordered several more dishes, specifically choosing the expensive ones.

After several dishes were served one after another, Cheng Lu and King of Film Xu exchanged glances, realizing something was amiss.

Cheng Lu reached out with a somewhat trembling hand to feel Tao Ti’s stomach, asking, ”Aren’t you stuffed?”

Tao Ti, gnawing on a duck neck, shook her head, ”I’m a bit full, but I can still eat. I will finish all the dishes on the table, I won’t waste any!”

Cheng Lu became somewhat panicked, ”My dear, this worries me. How about we go to the hospital to check?”

King of Film Xu nodded, ”Stop eating, let’s go to the hospital to have it checked out.”

Tao Ti remembered the previous hospital visit organized by Guodong and quickly shook her head, ”No, I don’t want to go to the hospital!”

Anxious, the cameraman made an emergency call to the director, ”Boss, it’s a disaster, I did a rough calculation, Little Taotie has devoured eighteen dishes, all solid food, it’s going to cost about four to five thousand!”

”What?” the director doubted his own ears, ”They racked up four to five thousand in one meal?”

”The main culprit is Little Taotie, basically all eaten by herself.”

”Her? A six-year-old child?” The director was in utter shock, took a deep breath, and asked, ”Is she alright?”

”She’s fine, looks very lively and active.”

”Is there something we don’t know about? Does the child have binge eating disorder? No, I need to make a call to her agent, we can’t have anything happen on our show!” The director hung up the call with the cameraman and immediately called Chen Bin.

At that moment, Chen Bin and his hefty boss were lying unconscious in the ICU, and no one answered the phone.

Unable to contact anyone, the director was getting anxious when he saw a wealthy investor casually walking over with two big bags.

”Chairman Cheng, such an honor to have you, gracing us with your presence...”

Guodong quickly interrupted, ”Cut the flattery!”

The director chuckled awkwardly, ”Have you eaten yet?”

Guodong shook his head, ”Not yet, I’m here to take my sister out for dinner.”

”Your sister?”

”Yes, Little Taotie.”

”She’s your biological sister? How come I didn’t know about this?”

”She’s my half-sister from different parents. I’m planning to choose an auspicious day to become sworn siblings with her.”

The director’s mouth twitched, bewildered by the wealthy investor’s way of thinking, If he could understand that, he might have become rich himself.

”Tao Ti has already eaten in the show, I’m afraid it was a wasted trip for Chairman Cheng,” the director said with a sighed of concern, ”I’m really worried, she downed eighteen dishes in one go, I’m afraid she might have eaten herself into trouble, and I can’t reach her agent either.”

Guodong said, ”Her agent has changed.”

The director was surprised, ”Changed? To whom?”

Guodong tilted his chin up, proud, ”Me!”

He had already spent thirty million to transfer the indenture equivalent to Tao Ti’s contract to his name, and he did not trust anyone else with Tao Ti, so he decided to take matters into his own hands.

The director was extremely surprised, ”Chairman Cheng really is a hard worker!”

”If you have any questions in the future, contact me. My sister has a big appetite and is very strong and healthy! I’ve taken her to the hospital for a check-up, there’s nothing wrong, she’s just a bit malnourished.”

Guodong raised the two big bags in his hand, ”Look, I’ve brought her a lot of nutritional supplements!”

The director remained skeptical, ”Malnourished despite eating so much?”

Guodong with a pained expression said, ”She didn’t have it easy growing up in the mountains, eating intermittently, and she wasn’t well-nourished as a child.”

”I won’t keep you longer, where is she, I’ll deliver these foods to her.”

”Here’s the address.” The director handed him a brochure from the restaurant, touching his nose and internally marveling, thinking: Little Taotie has leaped out of the frying pan, jumped three feet high straight into Heaven, and clung onto the golden thigh of God of Wealth Chairman Cheng!
