Dragon Monarch System

Chapter 996: Chapter 996:- The Organisation Leader

”But my real name is Leo!” The man known as Leo removed the hood covering his face. This was the exact same face that they had seen in the flashes of the past.

”It’s finally nice to meet the man who has single-handedly done the most damage to my organisation since the time of the Crimson Dragon King.” When Leo first heard of the name Aditya, he did not pay much attention. After all, throughout the one million years that he had lived, countless foes had risen in power and challenged his cause directly or indirectly.

So when Aditya’s name was first murmured to him by a subordinate, Leo viewed Aditya as nothing more than a fly that he could kill at any given second. But the current Leo deeply regretted underestimating Aditya. If he had directly sent the core members, even if their cultivator suppressed to the Peak 5th-order realm within the Six Continents, killing him wouldn’t have been a problem.

Now, Aditya had become so formidable that he was forced to come to this spoken dimension to stop the dragon monarch from learning too much about him. Since the time he was given orders to carry out his mission, no one has ever learned so much about him as this man.

”I mean, it makes sense! You are, after all, the bloodline descendant of the Crimson Dragon King.” Hearing this, both Aditya and Athena were equally stunned.

Seeing their expressions, Leo once again chuckled.

”You two might think I am lying, but seriously, I am not. This is the truth.”

”Back when the Crimson Dragon King was killed, his descendants could not escape even if they wanted to. Some were dragged into the civil war. Some perished within days after the passing of the Crimson Dragon King. But his eldest son, William, managed to live for another 590 years.”

”The current day, Celestial Dragon Empire is a descendant of the Crimson Empire.”

”Your ancestor William fought a battle that lasted almost 92 years and managed to establish a small Kingdom that would later become the Celestial Dragon Empire.”

Leo looked at the sky and then continued. ”William was already preparing to be the Next Emperor, so when things suddenly went out of control, he was better prepared than the rest. He had a large number of loyal followers and support from multiple dukes.”

With the death of that dwarf and the Crimson Dragon King, no one knew about him anymore. And the people he silently pushed from the shadows never really understood or found out that he was the one behind everything.

Seeing their strange looks, Leo again chuckled. ”Sorry, I was just lost in the memories of the past.”

”I assume it was you who completely erased the Crimson Dragon King from history.” Aditya could not help but ask.

”I did some work. But even for cultivators, half a million years is just too long. Not to mention the countless wars that happened in that period.” Wars can wipe out history. The destruction, death, and casualties accelerated the process.

”The last remaining ancient history also disappeared during the Demon Invasion of this world.”

”And that was also indirectly caused by you?” At this point, it felt as though all major events over the last one million years were either directly or indirectly caused by this man. So it was natural to have suspicions that the demon invasion might also be a work of this man.

”Nope! To this day, I don’t know how the Demon Invasion started. In fact, my organisation secretly helped the rest of the world in eliminating demons and driving them out of this world.” The demons disturbed his plans to the point where he had no choice but to take action. The demons were a factor that he had not taken into consideration, so when the invasion did happen, a lot of his hard-earned assets were lost in the invasion.

Leo understood why Aditya asked the question. ”My task was to wait while overlooking the pearls in their respective places. Unfortunately, in a span of a million years, it’s just impossible for things to go according to plan.”

”Whatever I did so far was to serve the Grand Purpose. I did nothing less and nothing more.”

”I don’t self-insert my organisation or myself into things that have nothing to do with the Grand Purpose. But whenever a pearl is threatened to slip from my grip, the organisation have always acted.”

”Then why do you need the Crown of Seven Seas?” Because Aditya had the Crown of Seven Seas, the organisation came after him.

”I have been searching for this Crown since the day that the Crimson King died. Even after half a million years of searching, I could not find it.”

”And to answer your question, let’s just say, the Crown is necessary for the Grand Purpose.”

”But you are here now. I could just kill you and end this once and for all.” Aditya stepped forward with his sword.

”Dragon Monarch, throughout history, I was never really the frontman to fight. I am the strategist. My every move is carefully calculated. And I am especially cautious about you.”

”I don’t need to fight to kill you. The Organisation is powerful enough to kill you.”

”But why do your men always fail against me?” For the first time since their meeting, Leo finally looked a bit shaken by his words. That confident smile, which gave them the impression that everything was under his control, finally flattered.

”I admit it was a mistake on my part. I wasn’t expecting you to break into Beginner 5th-order in such a short time.”

”But that won’t happen again. The moment you leave your precious cage, which you call the Dragon Palace, and step into the Tunnel World or the Main Continent, my men will come at you with everything.”

Leo looked down and saw something that made him smile.

”I had raised these goblins for thousands of years, preparing them for the day I would unleash them to annihilate my enemies. I never had a specific target in mind. I simply kept them as a precaution, while they also served as a source of my amusement.”

”Enjoy the show, gentlemen. I will be taking my leave.”

”No, you don’t!” If Leo is killed, then all of this madness ends with his death. Aditya cannot let him just leave.

Aditya teleported behind Leo and drove his sword at his chest. But to his shock, his sword merely passed through Leo’s body. Aditya felt like he was attacking air. There was no physical body.

”Did you really think I would come here with my real body?” Leo looked at Aditya and smiled.

”This is an avatar. Something that allows me to create a clone that can phase through objects for 15 minutes.”

ROARRRRRR.....!!!!!

Hearing the roar, he looked down, only to find a Red skinned 2 meters tall Goblin charging at him with a greatsword.

”Enjoy yourself.”

”This is a Mutated Goblin King that I created when I had nothing much to do.” With that, Leo disappeared.

The Goblin noticed Athena standing behind Aditya and instantly shifted its target toward her. Bending its knees, it gathered all the strength in its calves before launching itself forward. The moment it leapt, the ground beneath its feet shattered, cracks spreading out in a spiderweb pattern.

But in midair, Aditya teleported in front of the Goblin King.

Slash!!!

His sword left a big diagonal cut on the 2-meter giant’s chest. The force of the attack also sent the Goblin King flying to the ground.

『Ding! Special Necromancer Paralysis has been placed on the Host.』

『Ding! For the next 10 minutes, all of the Host’s stats will ben stats will be reduced by 50%.』

A dark purple Aura envopled him. At the same time, he felt his remaining 30% mana getting cut in half.

He suddenly felt really weak.

’No wonder Leo sent this mutated Goblin King after me.’ It would have been surprising if the Goblin King could be defeated in just one attack.

”It seems you are hit with some kind of debuffing skill.” With her knowledge, it was very easy for her to understand what had happened.

”Don’t worry, I will be alright.” Aditya wasn’t worried at all. He still had several effective methods of defeating this mutated Goblin King.

Meanwhile, the injured Goblin King was about to jump again when he felt his body’s weight had increased by 10 times. The sudden increase in weight had significantly decreased his agility and slowed him down.

The intelligent creature raised its head and looked at its opponent.

Aditya had raised his one palm and had used some kind of skill on him.

”Interesting!”

”From everything I have seen and read in the reports, it’s safe to assume that the Dragon Monarch now possesses a Gravity Skill.”

Aditya and Athena saw that Leo had disappeared. But in reality, this wasn’t entirely the case. Leo just pretended that he had left, but in reality, the sole purpose of revealing himself and letting Aditya fight his toy, which was the mutated Goblin King, was to learn more about Aditya’s abilities.

Leo was almost 10 km away from their location. After living for so long, he was really good at suppressing his Aura so that his Aura caused almost no fluctuations to the mana around him.

”It’s time to die!” Aditya teleported before the Mutated Goblin King again for the final strike.

Seeing the death of the Goblin King, Leo just shook his head in pity. The Goblin King had a really good future. He was even thinking of bringing his toy to the outside world so that he could reach a higher order. In a few decades, the Goblin King could have become one of his most loyal Core members of the Organisation.

”But on the brighter side, at least, I know what new ability Aditya have. This is a win for me.”

Really, thank you very much to all those who sent support with valuable golden tickets and gifts. I hope we can keep it up!!!
