Dragon Monarch System

Chapter 983 983:- Hug from His Majesty

”I was thinking of building an entire district within the Azure City dedicated to the Seven Divisions and its members.”

Hearing this, Watson and Alfred both exchanged a look of shock.

Building an entire district within the Capital was just unheard of.

”Your Majesty, I think there are many risks involved in this.” Although the idea was modern and innovative, it came with its own risks. Especially, there would now be more risk of intel leaking from the seven divisions.

”I know. But I have also considered many measures to ensure that no intel from the District of the Seven Divisions leaks. In a few weeks, I will become a 5-star runemaster. I will personally add several layers of arrays and formations.”

”One of which will be a system that will prevent any outsider who is not a member of the Division from entering the district from any side. I have many other ideas. But for now, I want the construction to begin.”

”But for accomodate such a massive project, space must be cleared,” Alfred asked again.

”The Azure will go through another expansion to create space. The city is already crowded. All the walls will be pushed outwards. During this period, the whole city will be vulnerable.”

”But to minimise that, just one side of the wall will be pushed outwards first. And the space created will be utilised to make the Seven Divisions district.” Previously, the walls were built in a way that each block of the wall could be pushed outwards from inside. This did not mean the part between two blocks was weak, and the enemy could exploit it break the walls.

Through clever engineering and runes, it is impossible to tell from the outside where one block ended and another began.

Aditya planned to add more security layers once the whole expansion plan was done. Now that he was a 5-star runemaster, more things could be added to deal with enemies in case of an invasion, which was very unlikely.

Who in their right mind would even dare to attack Azure City, which was the home of the Seven Generals and the Dragon Monarch himself?

”I also plan on connecting the Azure City with the High Tide Harbor City.” The High Tide Harbor City was one of the biggest and first projects of the Istarin Empire. After nearly two years of its completion, the City had the largest and busiest port in the entire Eastern Region, maybe even the entire Dying Isle region.

One of the main reasons why the port rapidly grew is because of the Istarin Empireʼs policies. No form of corruption existed here, and everyone was treated fairly under the law. Merchants loved doing business in this Empire.

Not to mention, the city was famous for selling Glass, the best-quality honey, and magic fruits. All three things were extremely rare and valuable everywhere within the Six Continents.

”Your Majesty, can you elaborate on what you mean by connecting both Cities?” Alfred had been to that city multiple times. The Azure City and the High Tide Harbour City were quite far away.

ʼSurely, His Majesty didnʼt mean to expand to both cities towards each other and eventually turn it into one large Mega City, did he?ʼ Even if Aditya had such an idea, it would be very risky and, not to mention, a very money-burning project. There is no doubt itʼs a very ambitious project, but Alfred did not understand how the whole thing would be protected.

”What I meant was building lets say, 20 small teleportation arrays between both cities. These two teleportation Arrays will be connected only between these two cities. This means the teleportation time will be reduced, and teleportation will be almost instant for whoever uses it.” One of the reasons why teleportation takes those extra seconds to fully activate is that the Array has to set the location and coordinates and connect with other teleportation arrays.

But if these two teleportations have only two coordinates, the speed will be much faster and more efficient. Large crowds could be moved between the two cities so much faster.

”Thatʼs possible. But whatʼs the need? Isnʼt there already many teleportation arrays around the city?” Watson and Alfred did not understand the need. The whole thing was a good idea, but it wasnʼt a necessity.

”Simple, I want to divert the crowd between both cities.”

”As the Azure City continues to grow, the prices of rent and land will continue to rise. This is an inevitable process.”

He put the pen down and looked at Watson and Alfred. ”If lets say, I came to settle down in Azure city. As a commoner, the high rent prices make it really hard. But luckily, there is the option of commuting from another city to Azure City for work.”

”Luckily, the price of using teleportation between Azure City and High Tide Harbour City is extremely low. Not to mention, compared to Azure City, High Tide Harbour City is still small, and the rent is so much lower.”

”Now it makes sense.” Essentially, Aditya wanted to do this to make it easier for even the poor to come and find work in the Capital. There was no lack of jobs and business opportunities in the capital. But the housing and rent werenʼt cheap. Even if it stays somewhat cheap now, the price will continue to rise.

”Also, in the future, I donʼt want to expand the Azure City anymore. As the whole process is expensive. Itʼs better if I just connect another City with Azure City and make transportation extremely cheap.” Alfred and Watson nodded their heads. Aditya was looking for the long-term vision of the core of his Empire.

”And for teleportation arrays, their energy source will be a mix of solar and Lunar Stones. These two stones can slowly recover their energy under the sun and moonlight. Itʼs more economically and more long-term.”

Not to mention, Aditya planned to make these arrays self-functioning. There wonʼt be any need for soldiers to manually activate the arrays or set coordination.

”Why not also add the function for cultivators to give their Mana to the Array to be used as an energy source?” Alfred asked. This was because it was an actual thing at the Celestial Dragon Empire.

”Thatʼs a good idea. If in case, energy dries up, then Mana can be used.”

Scene Change________

The Next day,

”Congratulations! You have become the very first Mid fifth order general of this Empire. Iʼm extremely proud of you.” It was even harder as a dual cultivator to cultivate, yet she managed to accomplish this before anyone else.

This was very impressive.

”You all have worked extremely hard for this empire.” Without their constant hard work, this empire would not be so stable as it is right now. Seven generals worked day and night without any complaints or breaks. They were among the busiest military officials across the six continents, and that statement just goes to show how much work they put into making sure the empire is safe from both external and internal threats.

”Thank you, but I donʼt really care about being the first to reach this level.” To Amber, becoming the first among all generals wasnʼt that important.

”Yes, there is competition between all of us, but itʼs a healthy competition. I genuinely believe that for each of us, reaching the peak of fifth order is not as important as being the perfect general.”

”Itʼs a good thought. But maybe trying to present yourself as perfect all the time, or pursuing perfection, can seriously backfire. You know what I mean, right?”

Amber nodded her head.

”Yes. I know what you mean, and I perfectly accept the fact that itʼs impossible for me to be perfect all the time. But in my opinion, minimising mistakes and making sure that my mistakes have the least consequences is also a part of being a role model, General.” Aditya nodded his head.

Amber and others have grown so much. Itʼs impossible to believe that these seven important figures who control the entire Istarin Military were slaves once. But in less than two years, they have become powerful mighty Generals.

”Iʼm quite certain that with your current cultivation and illusion powers, you wonʼt have any trouble taking down any formidable fifth-order cultivator.”

”Yes!”

”Even when I reached Beginner 5th-order, it was easy for me to fight 5th-order cultivators.” Though she wasnʼt strong enough to kill Peak 5th-order body path cultivators. But she could manage Mages.

”For me, advancing my cultivation is to make sure that I can be the supportive pillar of my division and of the empireʼs army. As a general, I must be one of those strong figures.”

”But since you are the first to reach Mid 5th-order, I want to reward you.”

”Tell is there anything that you want?”

Amber looked at Aditya.

Suddenly, her heart started beating faster. With his enhanced senses, even he noticed the sudden spike in her heartbeat.

”If itʼs not too much to ask, then I want a Hug from His Majesty.”
