Dragon Monarch System

Chapter 992 992:- Pocket Dimension; Goblin Society

Athena looked at the Goblins that had surrounded them from all directions. There were even a few fifth-order goblins.

”For now, I will stand back. They are all yours.” She knew just how powerful he was. There was no need for her to act.

Instead, she pulled out a chair from her storage ring and sat down to watch the show.

”Now this is interesting!” Since he killed millions of Goblins in the Goblin Invasion, he had not seen a goblin since then.

Goblin was the weakest of the weakest Magic Animals. The only advantage that Goblins had over other magic animal species was that Goblinsʼ reproduction speed was very frightening. Just within a year, the number of 10 goblins can range from 80 to 100.

This is why killing Goblins to extinction was just impossible. Not to mention, these little green magic animals knew exactly how to use the forestʼs terrain to build secret hideouts where spotting them is almost impossible.

These green Magic animals are capable of creating their entire society underground. They were excellent diggers. Within a year, a small goblin community can expand up to thousands of goblins.

Sometimes, goblins can be born with specialised talents in certain aspects. These goblins are called by various names.

There were Mage-Goblins, who are known to have very high talent in learning spells and controlling mana. Compared to normal goblins, their intelligence is also slightly higher, which allows them to understand basic magic circles and simple spell formations.

There were Hob-Goblins, who are known to have stronger bodies and far better physical strength than normal goblins. Hob-goblins usually grow taller, more muscular, and are often used as frontline fighters or commanders among goblin groups.

There were the Goblin Knights, known for their strong combat instincts and discipline. Unlike other goblins who rely mostly on numbers, Goblin Knights are capable of learning weapon techniques and fighting in organised formations.

There were Priest Goblins, who usually took the role of a Leader of a small or medium-sized community. These goblins have a strange connection to spiritual energy and can use simple blessings or healing abilities.

There were also Shaman Goblins, known for communicating with spirits and controlling primitive ritual magic. These goblins often guide tribes during important events such as war, migration, or major hunting seasons.

There were Goblin Engineers, a rare type of goblin that shows unusual intelligence and creativity. These goblins are capable of building simple weapons, traps, and primitive machines using wood, bones, and scrap metal.

There were Goblin Scouts, who are known for their speed, sharp senses, and ability to move quietly through forests or caves. These goblins are usually sent ahead of the tribe to gather information or track enemies.

And lastly, there was the Goblin King. Goblin King is extremely rare in its species. But when itʼs born, every Goblin submits to the Goblin King regardless of the Goblin Kingʼs strength or power. The Goblin King is meant to rule and conquer.

”In this Pocket Dimension, with their sheer number, I doubt there is any other species that can oppose the Goblins.” This means this entire Pocket Dimension was filled with countless Goblins.

The question was, how did Goblins come to this Pocket Dimension? It was highly unlikely that Goblins existed since the beginning of this Pocket Dimension. But that doesnʼt mean it wasnʼt possible.

But Aditya liked to believe that since this Pocket Dimension entry orb came from a core member of the Organisation, it was these people who brought Goblins to this Pocket Dimension for some purpose.

”Athena, what do you think?” Aditya asked while waiting for the Goblins to close in.

”I also agree with your analogy.”

”Given the sheer number of Goblins that I am sensing as far as my senses are reaching, itʼs simply impossible to sustain such a huge number of Goblins just by relying on Hunting. To feed such a huge population, this Pocket Dimension wouldnʼt have enough resources.”

Goblins were omnivores. But their main preference is always meat.

”So itʼs pretty clear someone is keeping these Goblins here on purpose.” Aditya nodded his head.

”We will find our answers once we head to that Big Castle.” Aditya moved his head sideways to dodge a few incoming arrows that were charged with Mana. The Arrows moved extremely quickly, but for Aditya, the arrows werenʼt that fast.

Swoosh!!!!

The arrows flew past Athena and hit some trees. This resulted in an explosion.

The Dragon Monarch took a deep breath and then spat out a huge wave of Crimson Flame from his mouth.

As the Flame continued approaching the goblins, the Crimson flame wave continued expanding in height and width.

KHAAA....!!!!

Except for a few Goblin Knights who cleverly used other Goblins as shields to retreat, tens of thousands of Goblins died from the attack alone. The flame instantly turned their bodies to charred meat before they simply turned to ashes.

The Crimson Flame did not stop there. The flames continued rapidly heading in the direction of the forest behind.

In less than 10 seconds, the army of Goblins in one direction was completely wiped out. And the forest behind was caught on fire.

Whistle!!!!

Athena whistled, seeing the scene.

”The Crimson Flames are always extremely dangerous.” Back when she was young, she had fought a rogue cultivator who also could use Crimson Flames. Although their cultivation was on the same level, because of the Crimson Flames, the rogue cultivator had the upper hand.

Although she won, she was left with her various 3rd degree burns in some parts of her body.

Meanwhile, the Goblin army charged at Athena from behind. But they failed to notice the bright sky suddenly darkening at a rapid speed.

Before any of the goblins could come within a 3-meter radius of Athena, they were struck with powerful and violent Crimson Lightning volts.

Even their 5th-order Goblins were reduced to ashes with one single strike from the Crimson Lightning volt.

At the same time, except for the small mountain top on which Aditya and Athena were, acid rain began to pour on the rest of the area.

The loud screams of the Goblins filled the entire forest. The goblins threw their weapons and ran in all directions while screaming in pain. But no matter where they ran, there was no escaping the acid rain.

Within a few minutes, almost one hundred thousand Goblins were destroyed. Completely annihilated to the point that their remains could not be found.

Even 5th-order Goblins were of no exception.

”Letʼs go to that Large Castle.” Aditya did not care about killing goblins. Yes, there was a time when he greedily killed Goblins for experience points. But the weaker the Goblin was, the fewer experience points he gained. And as he continued climbing higher realms of Cultivation, the experience points needed also became enormous.

Only the experience points that he felt mattered were the experience points that he received from killing 5th-order Goblins. And itʼs not like he was in need of experience points.

Aditya appeared before Athena and took her arm. Seeing this, she knew what was going to happen next.

The next second, both of them disappeared.

Aditya used Instant teleportation multiple times without stopping. He made several jumps and, within 10 seconds, reached the base of the large Castle.

As they landed at the entrance of the Castle, they slowed down.

”I donʼt feel any presence within the Castle.” The area around the Castle was also empty, barren land. There was no trace of greenery within an almost 5 km (3.1 miles) radius of the Castle.

”It seems for some reason the Goblins donʼt dare to approach this Castle or the barren land surrounding the Castle.” Not to mention, this Castle appeared to be very torn out and ancient. It was clear that it had been a long time since anyone had taken care of the Castle.

The thin iron bars had rust on them. The entrance doors looked like they could fall apart.

”Letʼs go inside.” Aditya pushed the entrance door. But even with a gentle push, the doors began to fall.

Seeing this, he lightly flicked his fingers and sent the doors flying towards the barren land.

A few minutes later, the couple had reached the corridor that was leading them to the Throne Hall.

But as they continued walking, they spotted something interesting. On the walls, there was a long mural that seemed to tell an ancient story.

The murals had no colours, but they could still understand whatever this mural wanted to say.

”This story is very confusing.”

”The Mural starts from the entrance of the throne Hall.” The part that they looked at was the end. According to the mural, the Man who had dominated everything decided to seal himself in a cocoon.

”Letʼs head inside the Throne Hall first. We can focus on the mural story later.” Athena nodded and followed him.

But the Throne Hall was empty. There was no one in it.

”My guess is this Pocket Dimension used to be one of the bases of the Organization. But it has been a while since anyone last came here.”

”Thatʼs not true!” Hearing her words, he followed her gaze and also looked down, only to find fresh footsteps on the dirt covered floor.

”Someone did came here not so long ago.”
