Dragon Monarch System

Chapter 959: Chapter 959:- Reunion [II]

Aclaw came out of Kaoru’s heart and pierced his heart. Both hearts were pierced in one smooth motion.

Cough.....!!!!

The violent force of the attack forced him cough out a large mouthful of blood.

”I don’t care who you are.”The Monarch spoke in a deep, cold tone with his eyes glowing in Crimson.

His actions left everyone watching stunned. The way he killed them both was cruel.

Those who did not know who this man was were even more shocked.

Ironically, both bitter enemies who hated each other to death and never were able to get along died while chasing after the same man and from the same attack. His claw took both of their hearts at the same time.

In the next seconds, the heads of the rest of the members were severed. Their heads fell to the ground and rolled away from their bodies before their bodies also slowly fell to the ground.

To weak cultivators, it looked like he had not moved from his place. But some with exceptional vision and high agility were able to see Aditya make eight successive short teleportations without stopping. Between each teleportation, his Raiketsu did its thing and released a compressed air slash for each target’s throat.

”One more to go!!!”

Aditya turned to Atlas, who was also looking at him.

”Aditya!!!” Atlas charged at the Monarch at full speed.

But that turned out to be his biggest mistake.

The Monarch teleported in front of Atlas and released several compressed air slashes that were completely invisible to the eye. But with his heightened senses, he was able to sense them coming like Moros and swiftly move to dodge all of them.

Bang...!!!!

His biggest mistake was that he ignored Aditya and ended up with a massive vertical cut on his left shoulder. Aditya didn’t intend to aim for this spot. But Atlas was able to reflex his body just enough to save his cut from being split in half.

Before Aditya could aim to cut Atlas’s left arm entirely with his left shoulder, he used his black to push the Raiketsu away before moving.

But he couldn’t even retreat properly when someone sneaked up on him.

Bang.....!!!

Something pierced his stomach.

It was a cold silver sword that was used by Athena.

”Damn you....!!!” While gritting, he attacked Athena, forcing her to retreat while taking out the sword in the process.

”What?” Athena innocently asked.

”This was never really a one-on-one fight. Our goal is to kill you, and the rest doesn’t matter.” Atlas surrounded them with his own people. From the beginning, their numbers never matched. Aflred was forced to go against eight members.

And now that the odds have turned against his favour, Athena did not hesitate to take advantage of that. In her opinion, she was just returning a favour.

In the same way, he surrounded them with his men and nearly killed Mateo and Alfred; she was doing the same with him. It was his fault for giving his whole attention to Aditya when he was fighting her from the beginning.

Atlas glared at Athena before looking at Aditya as if seeking justice or some words from him telling Athena to back off.

But the Emperor just nodded his head and gave Atlas a bright smile.

This only infuriated Atlas even more.

He felt regretted not bringing a teleportation crystal with him. He had been so confident in this ability to capture Laura and Athena and kill Aditya that he felt that there was no need to bring any teleportation crystal.

”Wait a minute?”

”If you are here, then what happened to Moros and Wolf?” Just some time before he found Athena and others, Moros suddenly left, saying that he needed to deal with something urgent and left everything in his control. He thought Moros could capture Aditya and Laura, and he would capture Athena.

But it looks like the plan had entirely failed.

”Guess!!” Aditya asked with a smile.

Hearing this, his pupils contracted to the size of a needle. Moros was even stronger than him. And Wolf was almost on the same league as Moros. To think, the Monarch managed to kill both of them at the same time and come here, means that the current Dragon Monarch is even stronger than him.

’From the beginning, I had no chance of winning.’

’I have to run.’ Immediately, his eyes started looking for an exit.

But with Aditya’s quick and rapid teleportation, he didn’t know if itwas even possible.

’Why the fuck did I not bring any teleportation crystal?’ Every Core member received one teleportation crystal. As a high-ranking member of the organisation, their leader did not want to see them lose their lives. Losing the core members truly affected the Overall strength and capability of the Organization. To the Organization, it was like losing an arm or a leg. This was something that must be avoided regardless of the cost.

At this moment, Atlas was truly regretting his decision. He felt he shouldn’t have been this arrogant. He felt like, after his first experience of facing the dragon monarch, he should’ve been more cautious and taken more cautious steps.

This time, the whole organisation was very cautious, which is the reason why two more core-ranked members of the organisation were sent to the front line to make sure that the mission was a success. But still dividing their numbers was a great mistake. And he felt that this time the Organisation wasn’t prepared enough to deal with this threat.

’What should I do now?’ Atlas knew this was truly the end. But as a Peak 6th-order Powerhouse, he did not want to die. Compared to other cultivators, he was still young and felt he had so many more things to do in life.

He did not even have a girlfriend yet. He wanted to start a family, have children, and experience the joy of becoming a grandfather. He wanted to do so much more. There were so many unfulfilled dreams and promises that will never be completed.

For the first time, near his death, Atlas regretted the choices he made as a human in his life. He realised that before being an immortal cultivator, he was still a human. His soul was still the soul of a mortal man.

His desires and his actions very much defined him as a human.

”I guess this is it!” Atlas closed his eyes. Atlas did not miss the second time, nor did Atlas used this heightened senses to try dodge the attack.

The sword pierced his neck and came out of his throat while he was covered in his blood. Atlas never have felt this kind of pain before.

’I guess this is the pain of death.’ In the end, a man who had lived almost 1000 years died in some unknown place without his loved ones ever finding out that he had died for a cause that wasn’t even related to him.

For his entire life, he was a slave to his greed and desires. It was his greed for more resources that made him join the organisation and break his moral laws and values. It was his desires that made him do all sorts of evil things. Now all that had finally reached up to him and claimed his life.

After Atlas fell to the ground, Aditya slowly stopped his passive skills from running. Athena also did the same.

Both of them looked at each other for a second.

Athena knew that this was the exiled Crown Prince of the Celestial Dragon Empire. But he was so much different from the rumours.

He was the total opposite.

He had the Aura of a King, something that most great Kings and emperors that she had met before possessed. But an Emperor, he had power to back it up.

He had the power to stand on his own at the battlefield and take down his enemies. At the same time, that boy who was exiled by his own Parents to a barren wasteland had grown into a powerful, capable man who knows when to be ruthless and when to be soft. At this moment, Athena was sure that there was no one more worthy of being the Emperor of the Celestial Dragon Empire than Aditya.

Meanwhile, Laura and Bree helped Mateo consume the Healing Potion. The 5-star potion immediately began regenerating his missing flesh and tissues. Within 60 seconds, the entire wound was completely closed, and he looked as if he never even received that wound in the first place. There wasn’t even any leftover mark of that scar or anything like that.

”Wow! This Potion is so strong.” As a noble, Mateo knew that this potion must cost a fortune. Not everyone could have this kind of strong and potent healing potion.

”I will remember the debt.” He said in a serious tone to Laura.

But Laura just waved her hand with a smile.

”Save it! This healing potion was made by the goddess of alchemy. This was something that your Dragon Monarch gave.”
