Dragon Monarch System

Chapter 953: Chapter 953:- Adopted Son Wolf

Kaoru was bored to death. Then she saw two familiar figures whom she had met before and also had been looking for.

Kaoru stood up while staring at Aditya.

The Dragon Monarch also stared at her.

At the same time, the bright sky turned dark. Slowly, Crimson Lightning began flickering around him.

”The Dragon Monarch....!!” Kaoru murmured while staring at him.

’Something about him has changed.’ Back when she first met him in disguise, he wasn’t this strong. His cultivation was around Peak 4th Order.

’But now he is a Beginner Fifth Order Cultivator.’ She could feel it. Despite being a mere Beginner Fifth Order, he now held tremendous power within him. Just sensing his leaking killing intent was already making her nervous.

’Just how many beings did he kill to get this kind of killing intent?’

Wolf happened to hear Kaoru murmuring something. He followed her line of sight and spotted two people who immediately stood out from the crowd.

The woman beside him looked like she was trying to calm him. But his overwhelming, vast ocean-like killing intent seems to be leaking out. It was like a dam that was about to break.

”Everyone stop!!!” Wolf raised his arm and said in a loud voice.

All the inner members and the servants stopped and looked at their leader.

Wolf’s raised arm pointed in the direction of Aditya and Laura.

”We have finally found our target.”Under his mask, Wolf had a big grin on his face.

’I have finally found you.’ It was not known what made Wolf this excited. This excitement didn’t come from the fact that he would now be able to complete the Mission his adoptive father had given him. His excitement came from something else.

Hearing this, everyone looked at Wolf, who stood and walked toward Aditya and the ordinary-looking couple.

’Now, how should I handle the situation?’ He now faced an unexpected dilemma. After all, if he killed Aditya here, this means that because of the Soul Binding Contract, the Goddess of War will also die. Till now, they hadn’t found a way to break the contract. This meant that killing Aditya was out of the question.

Wolf risked his life for revenge and love.

Wolf belonged to the same village that his adopted father mercilessly slaughtered in a single rainy night decades ago, just because he was angry. Worst of all, there was no reason or any purpose behind this slaughter. His adopted father simply felt too angry that night and needed to do something to vent his anger. Wolf watched everything with his own eyes.

He watched as His Adopted Father dragged every member of the village to the centre of the village and tore their limbs one by one. Their painful screams were what calmed him down.

He clearly remembered how his own cousin’s head was ripped from his body like it was a piece of paper.

He remembered his mom was dragged to the Village Centre. While his mom cried and begged for the life of others, that mad monster sat on top of her with a fist-sized stone. Then, under the heavy rain, he kept smashing her head until her face was disfigured to the point that later he couldn’t recognise his own mom. Forget about recognising, he felt too afraid to even look at the mom who gave birth to him.

After that, sensing that he was extremely talented, that man took Wolf with him. For years, Wolf played the role of an obedient son. He did whatever he was told, even if it was morally bad or wrong. He did not care. He kept fulfilling his Mission. All to gain his father’s trust.

But deep down, he also found himself trapped. He found that he couldn’t do anything to the Organization without a strong backer. And that strong backer was the Goddess of War herself.

When Wolf first saw her, he was smitten by her beauty.

Their first counter was in the forest where the Goddess was hunting a magic animal.

Because of Love and Revenge, it did not take long for them to join hands.

Wolf became the mole that his father was talking about. But there was a problem. For years, despite working together, even Wolf knew very little about the true motive of the Organisation. He didn’t even know much about the identities of the Other Core Members who always kept themselves hidden in the dark, just like his Father. But one thing was clear. The Waters of the Organisation ran way deeper than anyone realised. Even if all the Cores members that were sent on this Mission were to be killed, the Organisation can still operate.

Wolf did not want the woman he loved to die. In fact, for years, he has been trying to find a way to break the Contract. But without any support from the Organization, it was impossible to accomplish the task.

And now that his rival in love and also the target of his mission was here, Wolf felt conflicted.

’Let’s defeat him first.’ Wolf decided to keep Aditya alive.

”This is the Dragon King?”

”He is the King of the Istarin Empire.”

”He looks so ordinary.”

”Who is this woman beside human?” The cultivators who were previously talking about the Dragon King making a mistake by making an enemy of these people were the first ones to quickly retreat.

The crowd around Aditya and Laura began to retreat as Wolf pressed forward. Kaoru did not stay behind. She walked with Wolf but allowed Wolf take the lead since Wolf had more authority and power within the Organisation.

Meanwhile, the Dragonians who had been enduring this torture for hours looked in the direction of their King. Although their Mana pathways were sealed, there was no mistaking this Aura.

”His Majesty is here!!”

”We are saved.”

”Finally...!!”

In the Hearts of the Dragonians, they believed that their Glorious King

would win. There wasn’t even 0.00001% doubt in their hearts about their Glorious King losing these people. The Dragon Monarch was invincible in their eyes.
”The Dragon Monarch....!!” While a few other Dragons curiously looked at the ordinary-looking man. They could feel it. Their Dragon blood was pulsing in joy of finally seeing the Dragon Monarch.

”It’s an Honor to meet the man who is called the Invincible Dragon within the Six Continents.” Wolf stopped about 10 meters away from Aditya.

Kaoru stopped just a step behind Wolf.

”Stay out of this. I want to fight him alone.” Wolf said in a low tone. Kaoru felt bitter, but she nodded her head. She could use this chance to learn about the abilities of the Dragon Monarch. So even if Wolf lost, which was very unlikely since Wolf was even more frighteningly stronger than her, at least she could go into the fight prepared.

A few decades ago, Wolf fought Kaoru. At that time, he defeated her without needing to go all out. Who knows how much Wolf’s strength has grown over time? While Kaoru’s cultivation had stagnated, she believed that as the Adopted Son of the Organisation’s Leader, Wolf had more resources, which allowed her to get stronger.

”If only I had recognised you that day, then this cat and mouse chase wouldn’t have lasted this long.” Kaoru’s voice contained exhaustion. She had followed this man all the way to the Pine Zone.

But he did not say anything. His eyes merely glanced at her for a second before looking at Wolf.

”Laura, stay back.” She silently took a few steps away from him and allowed him to take this fight alone. In her weakened state, there was little she could do to help him. She would only become a burden, a fact that really saddened her.

”You might be invincible within the Six Continents, but here our cultivation is no longer suppressed. If you understand what’s best for you and your....” He paused before looking at the Dragonians. ”Then come with us.”

”Hahaha.....!!!”What he received instead was loud laughter. It was a laugh filled with arrogance and anger.

”You all will pay.” He said in a cold tone before disappearing.

Swoosh...!!!

Before anyone could react, Aditya appeared in front of his Dragonians. He easily broke the chains tying them and also the Collar around their neck, which suppressed their cultivation and made them feel as weak as mortals.

”Take these healing pills.” He silently handed the pills to one of the Elder Dragonians. All the Dragonians here were 5th-order cultivators.

”Now that’s very rude of you.” But Wolf wasn’t bothered. He had anticipated something like this to happen.

Swoosh!!!

The Monarch teleported in front of Wolf and grabbed his face with his right palm.

”You talk too much!!!”

He threw Wolf towards his servants like he was throwing a ball. Wolf crushed onto the servants and fell to the ground.
He brought a beautiful-looking katana and teleported again.

Before he could get up, Aditya appeared before Wolf.

Wolf reacted quickly and dodged the incoming punch. He jumped back to give himself a second as he was still not ready. But in mid-air, he suddenly received a long diagonal cut on his chest.

Drip.....!!!

”Huh?” Wolf and everyone else were really confused as to what happened.

”How?” Wolf looked at the cut on his chest and looked at Aditya.

Aditya was about to charge him again, but then he sensed the presence of someone really powerful heading in this direction.

Bang...!!!

A mysterious man whose face was hidden under the black cloak landed behind Wolf. It was Moros.

”Moros, I didn’t expect you to come.”

At the same time, Wolf’s mind began making changes to the initial plan.

He was worried his dad suspected him. But after what he saw, he was sure that Moros was just like him. Moros was another mole within the Organisation.

Wolf felt that there was no way that his dad would suspect him. He has been doing this job for years now. His Dad must have intentionally told Moros about the Mole so that Moros becomes nervous. ’I want to know to whom he was writing the letter.’

’Once I am done with Aditya, I will sneak attack Moros and kill him.’ Since he was another mole, for his survival, Wolf decided to kill Moros. This way, his dad won’t suspect him anymore, and their mission can continue.

And without Moros acting above him as the Leader, Wolf would have more freedom to decide what to do with Aditya.

But if only Wolf had looked at Moros at that moment.

”The Leader have finally found the Mole within the Organisation.” Moros’s voice was ice cold.

Hearing this, Wolf suddenly felt his heart stop. He felt his back getting cold. Before he could turn around, a poisonous dagger pierced Wolf’s heart.

Really, thank you very much to all those who sent support with valuable golden tickets and gifts. I hope we can keep it up!!!
