Dragon Monarch System

Chapter 990 990:- Temple of Dragons

『Materials needed to construct the Temple of Dragons 』

1. ton of refined Iron [1/1]

2. 50 Kg refined Gold [50/50]

3. 50 drops of Divine Dragon Blood [50/50]

4. 500 logs of mystic Wood Logs [500/500]』

”Where are we going?” Asked Spencer as they stepped onto the teleportation array.

”We are going to the Southern Region.” Almost the entire Southern Empire belonged to the Istarin Empire now.

Previously, this region was one of the most violent on the continent. Ever since the Empire took over, the Imperial Army have been cracking down on wanted criminals and rebels. Any instigator of violence was immediately put down.

A brief moment later, they appeared in the Southern Region. It was the Territory of the former Skyline Kingdom.

He had already asked Jenniferʼs dad about this when he came to the Dragon Palace a few days back.

The Temple of Dragons will be placed at the Capital of this Province.

In future, every capital and major city will have a Temple of Dragons. This is just the starting phase. It was hard to secure Mistic Wood Logs. But his fiancée had managed to raise several Mystic Trees to maturity.

With the current production, building one Temple of Dragons every two or three weeks is not a big deal. If he wanted, he could ask her to bump up the growth of Mystic Wood Logs and construct the Temple of Dragons every week. But that would be too much to ask from his dear wife.

The Duke, Kane Welsh, personally appeared with his men to greet the emperor and the Prime Minister.

Aditya just waved his hand and signalled them to end the formality. He wanted to build the Temple of Dragons as soon as possible.

”Your Majesty, I think the best place to build the temple of the dragon would be next to my Palace.” Duke Kane Welsh felt it would be only right if something so important were built next to his Palace. Because his Palace was located at the centre of the city.

The Capital was one of the major cities of the southern region and of the Istarin Empire. Duke Kane was very happy that his territory was chosen to construct the very first Temple of Dragons.

”Alright!” Aditya had no problem with this. In fact, he loved and welcomed this idea.

Since the emperor had spoken, there was no need to say or add anything in this, so Watson and Spencer both also nodded in agreement.

The place that the Duke selected and brought the emperor to was behind his palace. It was an open clearing that stretched almost 5000 square meters. All sides had small wooden walls.

Seeing Aditya looking at the walls, the Duke quickly explained with a smile.

”Originally, I planned to use this space to build a small training ground with a few houses for the troops.”

”The plan was to let a few hundred troops constantly stay asleep and train in this place.”

”But I feel that this place is more suited for the construction of the temple of dragons.”

Aditya nodded.

”If you want to expand the infantry, then you should select some other bigger place. Building an infantry just for a few hundred troops is a waste.” The Duke also nodded in agreement.

”Everyone, stand back. What you are about to watch next will blow your mind.”

Aditya walked to the centre.

ʼSystem starts the construction of the Temple of Dragons.ʼ

The moment the command was given, a very thick and dense fog suddenly appeared out of nowhere and spread across the entire clearing.

Within seconds, the fog covered everything within the 5000 square meter area.

No one could see anything anymore.

Even Aditya completely disappeared from everyoneʼs sight. For a brief moment, Watson, Spencer, and Duke Kane Welsh all looked slightly worried. The fog was so dense that even cultivators could not see more than a few meters ahead.

”What is happening?” One of the soldiers whispered.

But before anyone could move forward, strange sounds began coming from inside the fog.

Thud.

Clack.

Thump.

It sounded like heavy wood pieces colliding with each other. Then came the sound of large beams being placed into position.

Knock.

Knock.

Thud.

It almost sounded as if hundreds of invisible workers were building something at an unbelievable speed. Everyone stood there in silence.

No one dared step inside the fog. The construction sounds continued for nearly two full minutes.

Then suddenly.....

The thick fog slowly began to fade. Little by little, the clearing became visible again.

And what appeared before everyone left them completely stunned.

A massive building now stood in the centre of the clearing.

The Temple of Dragons had been completed.

The temple looked similar to a large pagoda, but it was far bigger than anything they had ever seen before. The structure stood nearly 50 meters tall, rising high above the surrounding buildings of the city.

The temple had five wide levels, each one slightly smaller than the one below it. The roofs curved upward at the edges, just like traditional pagoda buildings.

The entire structure was built using dark mystic wood and refined iron supports, giving it both strength and a majestic appearance. At the very top of the temple, a massive Dragon Head statue was placed.

The dragonʼs mouth was slightly open, showing rows of sharp, carved fangs, while its eyes were made from two large crimson crystals that faintly glowed even under daylight. Anyone who looked at it for too long would feel as if the dragon was silently watching the entire city below.

From the sides of the dragonʼs head extended two long, curved horns made of refined gold, and along the back of its neck were thick, carved dragon scales made from mystic wood. Faint strands of spiritual energy slowly drifted down from the statue like light mist.

The temple itself looked like a giant pagoda with several stacked levels, each roof slightly smaller than the one below it. The edges of the roofs curved upward, and along those edges were small dragon carvings placed one after another.

Under every roof were wooden support brackets, and each bracket had small dragon patterns carved into them.

At the front entrance stood two large stone dragon statues, guarding the stairs that led into the temple.

”This is the Temple of Dragons!”

”Itʼs beautiful!” Just the structure alone was breathtakingly beautiful.

Kane suddenly felt more people might be coming to his city just to catch a close-up glimpse of this magnificent beauty.

As soon as the Temple of Dragon formed, Watson, Spencer, and Kane all felt changes in their strength. They felt a hidden boost in their strength, agility, Mana, Stamina, and Health points.

ʼSo this is the power of the Temple of Dragons.ʼ

『Temple Of Dragons』

『Description - The Temple of Dragons is a sacred place for all Dragons. The Temple of Dragons is not a place of worship. Rather, itʼs holy ground for all Dragons and beings that possess faint dragon blood in their bodies.』

『Function 1 - The Temple of Dragons increases the cultivation speed of all Dragons by 50%. The speed of all Half-Dragons has increased by 25%. The beings that have a few drops of faint Dragon bloodline in them will experience a slight increase in their cultivation speed, not exceeding 10%. All of these boosts can be received only within a 10 km range. All Dragons must serve the Dragon Monarch to receive this benefit.』

『Function 2 - The Temple of Dragons increases the healing speed of all Dragons by 20% within the range of 10 km. 』

『Function 3 - The Temple of Dragons increases the attacking powers of all Dragons by 20%. The attack powers of other races serving the Dragon Monarch are increased by 10%. All of these boosts can be received only within a 10 km range.』

Aditya also turned around and stared at the giant 50-meter-tall Pagoda.

ʼItʼs beautiful.ʼ

ʼItʼs a shame that there is no way to upgrade the Temple of Dragons.ʼ

ʼEven if I upgrade the Dragon Palace, maybe then some options of making the Temple of Dragons even mightier might appear. But for this will do.ʼ The boosts received from the Temple of Dragons will significantly help the Istarin Troops fight against any threat.

If there were a Temple in every major city, then the Organisation wouldnʼt just be able to come and kidnap his men whenever they want.

The Temple of Dragons instantly solved one of his biggest worries about the Empireʼs defence.

ʼNow, as long as I become a 5-star runemaster, I will add a few more functions to the Temple of Dragons.ʼ Aditya wanted every 50-meter Pagoda in every major city to be the beacon of hope, strength, and power to the Istarin Empire troops.

”Kane, some people constantly need to guard the Temple of Dragons.”

”Donʼt worry, Your Majesty, I will assign some Dragonians to permanently stay here so that no one can freely enter or exit the Temple of Dragons without permission or authorisation.”

”Then I will let you handle this matter.”
