Dragon Monarch System

Chapter 960: Chapter 960:- Reunion [III]

”I will remember the debt,” Mateo said in a serious tone to Laura as his body recovered to its peak. As a noble, Mateo was a proud man. He wasn’t overly proud to the point where his attitude towards everyone was one of arrogance. Mateo’s pride wouldn’t let him accept something as charity.

But Laura just waved her hand with a smile.

”Save it! The goddess made this healing potion of alchemy. This was something that your Dragon Monarch gave.” Hearing this, Mateo was surprised and shocked. Even Bree was surprised. To think that their Exiled Crown Prince was this close to the Goddess of Alchemy, where he could casually hand out Potions made by her.

The potions and Pills made by the goddess of alchemy were so rare and valuable that even within the main continent, there was a big demand for her pills and potions. But unlike a few years back, when they could get pills and potions made by the goddess of alchemy through the black market, recently, no pills and potions had ever surfaced in the market of the main continent.

Without Julia knowing, the Pills and Potions that she had given to people in the past somehow managed to reach the Main Continent. Some clever merchants sent people to her house and got her to make pills and Potions.

Julia wanted to practice her alchemy while helping others. Before, she used to ask anyone who wanted her services to bring extra materials needed for the pill’s production or the potion’s making. With this extra material, she had more than enough to practice making pills and potions and even make extra to add to her stock.

After all, practising alchemy is a costly process. To make high-quality pills and potions, one needed very high-quality materials. Knowing that her dad, a Mere Duke, would struggle to afford her alchemy practice, she decided to use this method. This also built a solid reputation over the years.

”Your Highness!!!”

Hearing this, Bree and Mateo also looked at Aditya. Before, they had some suspicions that this Man was their exiled Crown Prince, but they weren’t sure.

After all, the Aditya who was exiled was famously known as a waste who couldn’t even activate his Family’s Dragon Bloodline. He wasn’t even a cultivator. But this man, who somewhat resembled the Exiled Crown Prince, was a Beginner 5th-order Cultivator who could take down even a Peak 6th-order cultivator.

But now they were sure.

Alfred slowly walked to Aditya.

Aditya deactivated his passive skills and also looked at Aflred.

His cold gaze softened. This man had never mistreated him. Aditya had nothing but fond memories of this old man.

”Uncle Alfred, you look like you’ve lost weight!” Aditya said with a small smile.

Hearing this, the last bit of doubt within Aflred about this being their Exiled Crown Prince also disappeared. Only Aditya called him Uncle Alfred.

”Your Highness, you have changed so much within the last few years.” There were so many emotions in his eyes. As Aditya’s father’s butler, Alfred was a core part of the Royal Family.

In some ways, Alfred was a grandfather figure to Aditya. So Seeing the little trembling boy, forcibly exiled to some faraway land with no means to stand on his own, stand before him with such strength and power moved Alfred deeply.

He was very proud of the man that His Highness had become. He almost couldn’t hold his tears.

Aditya stepped forward and hugged Alfred. Even he felt emotional. He never thought fate would let them meet again.

The last time they saw each other, Aditya basically had nothing. He had lost everything. He was stripped of his title, power, and his birthright of becoming the next Emperor.

At that time, Aditya’s height only reached his chest. But now he stood taller than him by a few inches.

”Fate hasn’t been kind to you.” He slowly murmured into Aditya’s ears.

”That’s alright! Because I was exiled, I was able to achieve so much on my own.” His voice held pride over everything that he had achieved in such a short span of time. He had inherited a Small Dynasty and turned it into a huge, powerful Empire that was undoubtedly the strongest within the Six Continents. Not even the powerful forces or sects from the Main Continent could push it.

He wouldn’t have met his women without being exiled.

He wouldn’t have become this strong.

The Dragon Monarch itself might not exist if he hadn’t exiled. But that doesn’t mean he wasn’t hurt by the way he was treated. But what made him so proud was that, without any help from his Empire or Parents, he achieved so much that some could replicate even 50% of his success even after living one hundred thousand years.

Laura, Athena, Bree, and Mateo watched them hug from a distance. They did not disturb them. As they knew the weight this hug held in both of their hearts.

Athena looked at Laura.

Laura felt the stare and also looked at her.

Both of them slowly turned towards each other.

Athena was the first one to walk towards Laura, looking almost emotional. This entire time, she had handled every situation with a cold, calm and brave face. Now seeing her other half, who was like her own sister, Athena almost broke down.

Laura can tell that the Goddess was struggling to control her emotions.

”How have you been feeling?” Athena asked in a soft tone while holding Laura’s palms.

To Laura, who had no memories of their time together, everything felt foreign. To her, Athena felt like a stranger. But she could feel a very strong connection with this woman.

Both of them shared the same blood, DNA and even the same soul. Athena’s appearance was different from Laura’s.

”Recently, I have been feeling very weak,” Laura admitted with a bitter smile.

If not for this, then she wouldn’t have put him into so much danger. But a part of her also knew that if not for this, then she wouldn’t have met her other half, and she wouldn’t have made so much Progress with Aditya.

”Prolonged separation from the original soul, which is me, is causing this. At this rate, this other half of the soul will disappear, and I will forever lose you.”

”To fix this, you have to merge back with me. What was separated almost so many centuries ago must be reconnected to fix this problem.”

”By merging, do you mean fusing two souls together?” Aditya and Alfred walked up to them.

”Yes, and also no. I am the Original, and Laura is just a part of my soul that I divided and created. So I need to get my soul back.” Hearing this, Aditya panicked.

”Does that mean Laura will disappear?” He asked in an urgent tone. He didn’t want that, but there was no other option either. Either way, Laura will die once her soul extinguishes.

”It’s alright, Aditya! From the start of this Journey, I have been mentally prepared for this.” She also looked very sad. But there was nothing that they could do about it.

”But.....!!”

Seeing him look this agitated, Athena smiled. She now understood their relationship very well.

”We should get out of here. There are too many people here.” Athena did not want to do this under the stare of so much of a crowd. Anyway, words will soon travel everywhere, and it will cause a ripple effect. It was too late to hide anything. The least they can do is get out of here and prevent further exposure.

”Alfred, who are they?” Aditya has been meaning to ask this question.

”This is my granddaughter Bree.”

”And this is Mateo Boleyn. He is the Son of Duke Boleyn.” Aditya recalled seeing Duke Boleyn a few times in the past when the Duke visited the Royal Capital or came to see his Father.

”If not for these two, I would still be held captive.” Hearing this, Aditya frowned.

”Captive?”

”It’s a long story. I will explain as we travel to somewhere remote. Let’s get out of here first.”

”Wait! Let me take these bodies with me. Maybe I can learn about the Organization.” The bodies of the fallen Organisation members were put into his storage ring.

By the time he was done and was about to leave, he sensed his Dragonian very close, so he paused.

”Why did His Highness stop?” Bree looked confused.

”Let’s wait and see.”

Soon, the Dragonians, followed by a few Dragons in their human form, came.

”Your Majesty?” The Dragonais instantly kneeled before their Monarch.

This scene left Bree, Mateo, Alfred, and Athena stunned.

’From their Aura, it’s clear they are powerful Dragons.’ But strangely enough, Athena couldn’t sense Aditya’s Dragon bloodline. Before, when he was fighting, she was able to feel it, but now she couldn’t. This was strange as she had very good senses and could always feel any person’s cultivation and special Bloodline.

”You all should head back to the Capital and wait for me. Also, inform Watson that my companion and I will be back soon. The mission here is done.”

”Understood!”

”As for you three....!!” Aditya looked at the three Dragons. He had no idea from which part of the Six Continents the People of the Organisation captured them from. Maybe they weren’t from the Six Continents in the first place.

”My King, please allow us to serve you.” They wanted to submit to their Dragon Monarch and serve under him.

All three had the same intention.

Aditya wanted to say something, but then changed his words seeing the crowd.

”Go back with the Dragonians. I will see you three in the Capital.”

”Your Majesty, we have the bodies of the people that you killed.” Hearing this, Aditya nodded his head in appreciation. He had forgotten to take the Bodies of Zoros, Wolf, and others he had killed inside the Route.

After taking the storage ring, he nodded his head.

After bowing to their Monarch one last time, the group turned around and left using the same route that they took.

”Let’s leave. I know a safe place.” In the Tunnel World, in his opinion, no place was safer for them than Brightmor City. He was an ally of the dwarf Tribe, and inside the City, they won’t need to worry about anything, and no one should be able to track them down there.
