Medical and Martial God

Chapter 174: Chapter 174 The cruel and cold-blooded ruse of self-harm

Miyamoto Satoshi, gravely injured with his martial prowess destroyed, and the 100 Sang Jing Ninja Warriors paled when they saw Mutou Bingyuan fall into Ye Xiu’s hands.

Mutou Bingyuan was the de facto leader of the Tiansha Association. If he died, the organization would be like a dragon without a head. Moreover, they had followed Mutou Bingyuan to Jin Ye City. If he died while they lived, they would surely be executed by the furious Nine Serpent Heads of the Tiansha Association upon returning home.

”Don’t, Brother Shui, don’t kill him! I beg you, please don’t kill him...” Ignoring his injuries, Miyamoto Satoshi frantically crawled to Ye Xiu’s feet, begging.

At this moment, he couldn’t care less about his pride. His life was at stake! Mutou Bingyuan couldn’t die. If he died, he wouldn’t be able to live either!

”Brother Shui, please show mercy.”

”Please don’t kill the Young Master.”

”I beg you, please don’t kill him, don’t...”

The 100 Sang Jing Ninja Warriors, suppressing their injuries, all ran over, clamoring for Ye Xiu to spare Mutou Bingyuan.

”Brother Shui, don’t be rash! Please, don’t be rash,” Kuroki Suzu said in a panic. ”If you kill him, you’ll enrage the Tiansha Association. Once their army is upon us, you know the consequences all too well.”

”He wouldn’t dare kill me!” After a moment of panic, Mutou Bingyuan regained his confidence.

”Oh?” Ye Xiu’s mouth curved into a cold smile. ”And why wouldn’t I dare to kill you?”

”I’m not afraid to tell you that the late president of the Tiansha Association was my father, and I am the current president. If you kill me, the Tiansha Association will undoubtedly seek revenge for me. You should be well aware of the Tiansha Association’s power, right? Once war breaks out, you Xuanse martial artists are no match for us,” Mutou Bingyuan said with a look of utter disdain.

Ye Xiu was taken aback. Such a foolish statement actually came from Mutou Bingyuan? This is completely out of character for the wise man he’s supposed to be.

He asked, ”Are you really Mutou Bingyuan?”

”Of course!” Mutou Bingyuan declared proudly.

”As far as I know, Mutou Bingyuan is the Tiansha Association’s number one strategist, the man behind the Rongfu Consortium, and the true controller of the Tiansha Association. He’s been known since childhood for his extraordinary intelligence and astounding business acumen. How does your idiotic, brain-dead demeanor square with the rumors?”

Ye Xiu began to doubt the man in his hands. This guy is clearly just a hedonistic, brain-dead rich kid.

”I... I just underestimated you, that’s all,” Mutou Bingyuan attempted to defend himself.

”Cut the crap. Stop making excuses for your stupidity,” Ye Xiu said with contempt.

”You...” Mutou Bingyuan raged. ”You just wait. You will pay with your life for what you’ve said today.”

”Are you threatening me?” Ye Xiu asked coldly.

”Yes!” Mutou Bingyuan stated unabashedly. ”I advise you to commit suicide immediately. Otherwise, I will command the Tiansha Association’s army to unleash a bloodbath upon the Xuanse Ancient Martial Circle.”

That settles it. Ye Xiu was now completely certain. This guy was definitely not Mutou Bingyuan! But there was no trace of a disguise on his face. Could Mutou Bingyuan be a twin?

Seeing Ye Xiu staring at his face in silence, the counterfeit Mutou Bingyuan thought his words had scared him. He grew incredibly smug and taunted, ”You said you were going to kill me, didn’t you? Come on then! If you don’t want every Martial Artist of Xuanse to suffer because of you, then kneel before me and commit seppuku.”

Ye Xiu was amused by this counterfeit. ”Alright, alright. Since you’re so eager, I’ll send you to meet your father.”

With that, he snapped the counterfeit Mutou Bingyuan’s neck. CRACK!

”Huh?” The counterfeit Mutou Bingyuan stared blankly at Ye Xiu as he slowly fell to the ground. In the second before losing consciousness, he still couldn’t believe Ye Xiu had actually dared to kill him.

”Go back and tell the Nine Serpent Heads of the Tiansha Association that I’ll be waiting for them to come and avenge Mutou Bingyuan!” Ye Xiu left this domineering statement behind, then turned and walked away.

Kuroki Suzu, Miyamoto Satoshi, and the 100 Sang Jing Ninja Warriors didn’t pursue. They stared blankly at Mutou Bingyuan’s body, their faces turning the ashen color of death.

”Xuanse is truly a cursed place,” Kuroki Suzu lamented. ”The Young Master was so clever, but the moment he arrived here, he acted so stupidly he got himself killed!”

Miyamoto Satoshi and the 100 Sang Jing Ninja Warriors deeply shared the sentiment. Mutou Bingyuan was renowned in the Tiansha Association for his strategic genius, always planning meticulously with superior tactics. But his performance just now was downright moronic. He was already in Brother Shui’s grasp, so why did he keep provoking him? What was that if not courting death?

”Lady Kuroki Suzu, what should we do now?” Miyamoto Satoshi asked in panic.

The 100 Sang Jing Ninja Warriors also turned to Kuroki Suzu. They were all in a state of confusion and could only hope she had a plan.

”The master predicted all of this,” Kuroki Suzu said bitterly.

She recalled Ye Xiu’s words: besides her, who had a sliver of a chance at survival, everyone traveling with Mutou Bingyuan was fated to die. Although Miyamoto Satoshi and the 100 Sang Jing Ninja Warriors were still alive, now that Mutou Bingyuan was dead, they would surely be executed upon returning home.

”What master?” Miyamoto Satoshi asked.

”It’s nothing, I was just talking nonsense,” Kuroki Suzu quickly covered. ”Pack your bags. We’re heading back home tonight. I will try my best to speak with my Master...”

Before she could finish, her phone suddenly rang. It was an unfamiliar number from Sang Jing.

Kuroki Suzu answered. A gloomy voice came from the other end, ”My foolish brother is dead, isn’t he?”

Hearing this familiar voice, Kuroki Suzu felt the hairs on her entire body stand on end. Wasn’t Mutou Bingyuan just killed by Brother Shui? How could he be calling? Is this a call from the Yin realm?

”It seems he really is dead,” Mutou Bingyuan’s voice came through the phone again. ”Don’t be afraid. I am Mutou Bingyuan. The one who died was my twin brother.”

”Ah?” Kuroki Suzu’s face was a mask of bewilderment. The Young Master actually has a twin brother?

Mutou Bingyuan continued, ”Kuroki Suzu, I’m about to give you a very important task. Listen carefully.”

”Yes!” Kuroki Suzu listened with full attention.

”Apart from Miyamoto Satoshi and the medical delegation, kill everyone else,” Mutou Bingyuan ordered. ”Tomorrow, take my brother’s body and go to Ye Xiu. Tell him that Mutou Bingyuan is dead and that you would surely be executed by the Nine Serpent Heads if you returned home. Say that to survive, you have no choice but to defect to him.”

A self-harm stratagem? After hearing Mutou Bingyuan’s words, Kuroki Suzu instantly understood his plan. Mutou Bingyuan had clearly sent his brother and the 100 Sang Jing Ninja Warriors to their deaths in Jin Ye City, all for the sake of making her a successful undercover agent by Ye Xiu’s side. What a cruel, cold-blooded plan!

”Carry it out!” Mutou Bingyuan hung up.

Kuroki Suzu put away her phone and looked at the 100 Sang Jing Ninja Warriors with pity. With a sigh, she suddenly struck one of the ninja warriors on the head. The man spat blood and died on the spot.

This all happened so suddenly that Miyamoto Satoshi and the other Sang Jing Ninja Warriors were completely startled.

”Lady Kuroki Suzu, what are you doing?” Miyamoto Satoshi asked in shock.

”The Young Master was killed. We will be executed by the Nine Serpent Heads if we return home. I need their lives as a pledge to defect to Ye Xiu,” Kuroki Suzu’s voice was as cold as ice. As she spoke, she killed three more ninja warriors.
