Medical and Martial God

Chapter 173: Chapter 173: Forced to Take Action

Mutou Bingyuan stared at Kuroki Suzu in shock. Since they were children, this was the first time she had ever disobeyed his command. He had grown up with her and had never realized she had such a ridiculous side to her.

He scolded, ”Kuroki Suzu, I’m talking to you! Didn’t you hear me?”

Kuroki Suzu chanted, ”...Hello Kitty, Doraemon, Iron Man, Seven Fairies, in the name of the moon, I will unleash my Big Move...”

Mutou Bingyuan: ”...”

”Hahahaha...” Ye Xiu couldn’t help but laugh again.

Mutou Bingyuan’s face darkened. Kuroki Suzu had ignored two of his direct orders—a clear slap in the face in front of their enemy.

”Lady Kuroki Suzu, what is the meaning of repeatedly ignoring the Young Master’s orders?” Miyamoto Satoshi asked, displeased.

Kuroki Suzu continued as if she hadn’t heard, finishing the last few lines of her prayer. Then, she devoutly prostrated herself, her forehead striking the ground three times with audible thuds.

Only then did she get up and apologize. ”I’m sorry, Young Master. The memorial rite required my complete devotion. I didn’t intentionally ignore your order.”

”Enough nonsense,” Mutou Bingyuan commanded, not bothering to argue with her. ”Just kill this guy with the pathetic name.”

”Young Master, Brother Shui also possesses War God strength. I’m only slightly stronger than him, so I can’t kill him,” Kuroki Suzu said.

At that moment, a continuous stream of Martial Artists rushed to the rooftop. Leading them were eight middle-aged men—Mutou Bingyuan’s eight Great Grandmaster Guards.

”What about with their help?” Mutou Bingyuan asked. ”The eight of them are all peak Great Grandmasters. Surely it won’t be difficult for you to kill this guy with the pathetic name if you join forces with them, right?”

”This...” Kuroki Suzu hesitated.

Killing Brother Shui with the help of the eight Guards wouldn’t be difficult. But she had always suspected he was connected to Ye Xiu. If she killed him, she would be defying the Master’s instructions, and she would surely end up buried in Jin Ye City.

”Young Master, Lady Kuroki Suzu mentioned that this guy with the pathetic name excels in speed, but we’re on the roof of a 17-story building; he can’t escape. With the eight of us and Lady Kuroki Suzu joining forces, plus the others, it won’t be hard to kill him,” said the lead Guard.

”Good. Then everyone, attack together! Kill him at any cost! We cannot allow him to spread our secrets in Jin Ye City,” Mutou Bingyuan said coldly.

”Yes!” Kuroki Suzu, the eight Guards, and the Sang Jing Martial Artists on the rooftop roared in unison.

With that, they surrounded Ye Xiu. More Sang Jing Ninja Warriors were still arriving on the rooftop, and they immediately joined the encirclement.

”I truly mean no harm,” Ye Xiu offered as friendly advice. ”I suggest you don’t do anything stupid. If you force my hand, I’ll have no choice but to kill you all.”

He had only come here to watch Kuroki Suzu’s ”memorial,” not to kill anyone. He also hadn’t planned on killing Mutou Bingyuan just yet. The guy was supposedly a strategic genius, and Ye Xiu was looking forward to a battle of wits with him.

But if they attacked... Then he would have to start killing.

”Young Master, he’s scared!” Miyamoto Satoshi sneered. ”He must have come to gather intelligence, but he didn’t expect us to be so powerful. That’s why he’s using soft words now. Please don’t fall for his trick!”

”If you can see through it, do you think I can’t?” Mutou Bingyuan huffed.

”Yes, of course!” Miyamoto Satoshi realized his mistake and said subserviently, ”Young Master, your genius is unparalleled, and your eyes see through everything. I misspoke.”

”Genius of strategy, my ass,” Ye Xiu said, exasperated. ”I’d heard Mutou Bingyuan was exceptionally intelligent, but it seems the rumors were wrong. Did you even graduate from kindergarten? Can’t you see I’m not the least bit afraid? Let me go now. If you annoy me, I really will kill every last one of you.”

”You... you actually know who I am?” Mutou Bingyuan asked in shock, his voice turning cold. ”In that case, I have all the more reason not to let you leave here alive.”

Ye Xiu was truly done with Mutou Bingyuan’s intellect. ”Your brain’s subscription must have lapsed. Didn’t you sign up for the international plan? Go top it up with a few hundred, then you can decide whether you still want to kill me.”

”You dare insult me?” Mutou Bingyuan was furious. ”Kuroki Suzu, why aren’t you attacking yet?”

”Yes!”

Seeing Mutou Bingyuan was determined to kill Brother Shui, Kuroki Suzu had no choice but to attack. The eight Guards, along with a large number of Sang Jing Ninja Warriors, also attacked at the first opportunity.

”Brains. Such a wonderful thing. Why don’t any of you have them?” Ye Xiu sighed, seeing he had no choice but to fight.

Mutou Bingyuan and Miyamoto Satoshi retreated to the rooftop entrance, where Mutou Bingyuan said, ”Miyamoto, you’re also an Eighth Grade Grandmaster. Why haven’t you joined the fight?”

”Yes, yes, I’ll attack right now!” Miyamoto Satoshi replied meekly and charged toward Ye Xiu. Three seconds later, he was sent flying back to Mutou Bingyuan’s feet, spewing a mouthful of blood. He said feebly, ”Young Master... he destroyed my Martial Prowess. I’m critically injured.”

”Trash!” Mutou Bingyuan kicked Miyamoto Satoshi over and glared at Ye Xiu, who was being besieged from all sides.

He suddenly realized that even though Ye Xiu was being surrounded by Kuroki Suzu, the eight Guards, and so many Sang Jing Ninja Warriors, he was handling it with ease. And those kicks were vicious—one kick, one casualty!

Watching the Sang Jing Ninja Warriors get sent flying one by one, none able to rise again, Mutou Bingyuan suddenly realized he had acted too rashly.

It seemed Brother Shui’s strength was indeed inferior to Kuroki Suzu’s, but his movement technique was bizarrely effective. He was somehow managing to kick the Sang Jing Ninja Warriors away one by one, even while facing the combined assault of Kuroki Suzu and the eight Guards.

In less than fifteen minutes, the only ones left attacking Ye Xiu were Kuroki Suzu and the eight Guards. Everyone else had been kicked away. While none were dead, their Martial Prowess had been destroyed, and they were all gravely injured!

”You eight have been hopping around quite merrily. Come on, it’s your turn!”

Ye Xiu snapped a kick into one Guard’s Dantian, then swung his other leg with a THWACK against another’s face.

Eight kicks. No more, no less. All eight Guards were sent flying, gravely injured and crippled.

”This...”

Watching as the one hundred Sang Jing Ninja Warriors he had brought, along with Miyamoto Satoshi, were all finished, Mutou Bingyuan panicked. He shouted, ”Kuroki Suzu, stop fighting him! Get over here and escort me away, now!”

He knew full well Kuroki Suzu couldn’t kill Brother Shui alone. With all his men defeated and his own identity exposed, he could no longer stay in Jin Ye City. He had to flee back to Sang Jing tonight. Otherwise, if Ye Xiu found out he was in Jin Ye City, there would be no escape.

”Yes!”

Kuroki Suzu breathed a sigh of relief. She had been holding back from the very beginning, only pretending to attack with all her might while actually just going through the motions. In her view, it was only because she held back that Brother Shui was able to disable one hundred Sang Jing Ninja Warriors. If she had attacked for real, he wouldn’t have had the slightest opening to deal with anyone else.

”Too late!”

Seeing Kuroki Suzu withdraw from the battle and run toward Mutou Bingyuan, Ye Xiu moved. He caught up to and surpassed her in an instant, capturing Mutou Bingyuan alive.

”This...” Mutou Bingyuan’s expression changed drastically.

Kuroki Suzu also panicked and shouted, ”Brother Shui, please show mercy!”
