Worthless Profession: Dragon Tamer

Chapter 834, Enlightened Transformation, Has Xiao Ye Become Human!?

Translator: Silavin

His previous Third Profession Skill, Bloodline Sharing Awakening, had already given Lu Fan considerable surprises.

With the assistance of Bloodline Sharing Awakening, Lu Fan could activate the Giant Dragon Bloodline within his body, acquiring some Dragon Species’ special abilities. Simultaneously, he could establish Bloodline resonance with specific Pet Dragons under his command, enhancing both parties’ strength.

Although this Skill was not like ordinary Skills, which could be directly measured by Attack Power, under the enhancement of Bloodline Sharing Awakening, Lu Fan’s Combat Powered soared to unprecedented heights.

As for his new Fourth Profession Skill, Enlightened Transformation, Lu Fan remained uncertain about its marvellous effects. After all, the Skill Description seemed rather general.

Transforming his Pet Dragons into Humans. Then what?

In the case of the Devouring Dragon King, after transforming into her Human Form, she could still activate a portion of the power within her Bloodline to elevate her strength to its peak.

The Enlightened Transformation did not seem to possess that capability.

However, as the Fourth Profession Skill of an Abyssal Dragon Rider, its Skill Effect should surpass that of Bloodline Sharing Awakening.

Therefore, to understand this Skill’s mysteries, he could only conduct personal experiments.

Lu Fan considered for a moment and summoned Xiao Ye, who had accompanied him for the longest time.

Upon appearing, Xiao Ye remained as before, extremely affectionate with Lu Fan, nuzzling against him incessantly.

“Alright, Xiao Ye, stop being naughty.” Lu Fan lifted the Infant Form Xiao Ye, pulling her from his body and placing her on the ground. With a serious expression, he said, “I’ve learned a new Skill and will use it on you. If successful, you might transform into a Human like me. Is that okay with you?”

After considering, Lu Fan added, “It seems that even after becoming Human, you can revert to your Dragon Form. So, this isn’t irreversible. So if you dislike your new Human body, you can immediately change back. There’s no need to worry about anything.”

Human speech and Dragon Language were not mutually intelligible. When Lu Fan communicated with Giant Dragons, they typically used spiritual vibration to conduct direct spiritual exchanges with him.

Therefore, Xiao Ye could not understand Lu Fan’s words.

However, as they shared a Master-Servant relationship and could communicate spiritually, Xiao Ye understood Lu Fan’s meaning.

Hearing that Lu Fan could transform her into a Human, Xiao Ye was obviously delighted, jumping twice on the ground, already somewhat impatient.

Seeing Xiao Ye so eager to become the same species as himself, Lu Fan couldn’t help but smile.

Indeed, he could already transform into a Dragon, so naturally his Pet Dragons should also be able to transform into Humans.

Since Xiao Ye had no objections, Lu Fan didn’t hesitate.

He extended his hand, touching a finger to Xiao Ye’s forehead, activating the Enlightened Transformation Skill.

Instantly, a golden light emanated from Lu Fan’s fingertip, firmly enveloping Xiao Ye. Moments later, the golden light dissipated. Lu Fan’s eyes widened as he looked at the young girl now standing before him, momentarily incredulous.

This young girl appeared to be merely fourteen or fifteen years old, wearing a dashing suit of Dragon Scale black armour. Her long hair cascaded over her shoulders, exuding a rather heroic and spirited demeanour. Simultaneously, her skin displayed a wheat colour rather than the typical fair complexion of conventional beauties.

Still, it had to be said that this skin tone, combined with her temperament and armour, proved to be a perfect match.

Xiao Ye had vanished, replaced by this young girl. Even a fool like Lu Fan could comprehend what had occurred.

“X-Xiao Ye, you’ve really become Human!” Lu Fan was both surprised and delighted, looking at his suddenly acquired Daughter.

Xiao Ye also looked down at her own body, her manner and behaviour identical to when she possessed her Giant Dragon Form.

“Pa Pa!” Xiao Ye’s mouth opened, and she jumped excitedly on the spot.

However, her mastery of Human speech remained limited. She apparently could only call out those two words, “Pa Pa.”

In her excitement, Xiao Ye, as before, leapt directly onto Lu Fan’s body, continuously calling “Pa Pa, Pa Pa,” leaving Lu Fan somewhat unable to cope.

“Alright, alright, you’re practically strangling my neck!” Lu Fan said helplessly, pulling Xiao Ye off his body again, though the smile on his face did not diminish in the slightest.

Although gaining a grown Daughter was cause for celebration, what Lu Fan cared about most was what changes Xiao Ye had undergone after her Enlightened Transformation.

Lu Fan opened her Attribute Panel. As expected, Xiao Ye’s Avatar had changed, transforming into her current Human Avatar.

As for the Attribute Panel, two sets had actually appeared.

The first set represented her Dragon Attribute Panel.

After Enlightened Transformation, her Dragon Attribute Panel showed no changes whatsoever.

The other set comprised of her Human Attribute Panel.

This Attribute Panel displayed her as Level 1, with no Profession, no Skills, and no equipment. However, her Strength and other Attributes were all identical to the Dragon Attribute Panel.

What did this signify?

Moments later, Lu Fan suddenly understood.

[Wait! Are you serious? This is seriously my Fourth Profession Skill!? Now, I can provide my Pet Dragons with a massive boost!]

The current Xiao Ye, though superficially appearing as a Level 1 Human girl, could deliver a punch capable of instantly defeating a Level 100 Boss! Simultaneously, she could undergo her own Profession Change, Level Up, and equip weapons just like him.

The Attributes increased through her Human body should also stack with her original Attributes. This resembled how Lu Fan himself possessed one set of Attributes, yet in his Riding State, gained another set of Attributes that stacked with his Pet Dragon’s.

The difference now was that Lu Fan, the Rider, was no longer necessary. The Giant Dragons themselves had become its own Riders, capable of integrating their two sets of Attributes.

To verify his hypothesis, Lu Fan rummaged through his Inventory and found a Level 90 two-handed Greatsword.

This Platinum Grade equipment possessed acceptable Attributes. More importantly, this weapon carried the ‘No Level Requirement’ Special Effect.

Originally, Lu Fan had obtained this equipment by chance, intending to give it to Tao Xiaoman. However, subsequently, Lu Fan had discovered even better equipment, and so this Greatsword had been relegated to his Inventory, forgotten by Lu Fan.

Now, this equipment could perfectly serve as an experiment to determine whether, after transforming into a Human, Xiao Ye would possess two Attribute Panels as Lu Fan suspected, with both Attribute Panels stacking together.

As a ‘Level 1 Human’, Xiao Ye naturally qualified to equip this two-handed Greatsword.

Lu Fan handed the sword to Xiao Ye, instructing her to equip it, and Xiao Ye obediently complied.

The result confirmed his theory. This equipment appeared on Xiao Ye’s human Attribute Panel, and simultaneously, all her Attribute Panels showed increased Attributes.

Although compared to her original Attributes, the increased amount was almost negligible. Even so, this proved that after transforming into a Human, Xiao Ye had indeed gained a Human Attribute Panel that could stack on top of her own Dragon Attribute Panel!
