Worthless Profession: Dragon Tamer

Chapter 821, Sweeping Through Southern Black Port

Lu Fan never claimed to be a saint. His earlier reluctance to assist Cui Ziyi stemmed more from a philosophy of non-interference. He was a stranger entering an unfamiliar ecosystem, the wisest approach was to do nothing and allow nature to do its course.

Now, however, his perspective had shifted.

What was an ecosystem, after all?

Whatever he wished this place to become, it would become.

After parting ways with Ning Shuang’er, Lu Fan proceeded directly to another gang’s location.

When it came to eliminating enemies, Lu Fan was rather proficient in it.

Soon enough, Lu Fan soared above the gang’s territory.

Currently, several hundred to a thousand people have made a camp here. The majority were citizens from South Country, with a small minority consisting of people from Dragon Country.

Even so, Lu Fan harboured no sympathy whatsoever.

“Bao Bao, attack them and kill at will!” Lu Fan raised his hand, summoning Bao Bao and issuing the command.

Bao Bao naturally relished receiving such orders. During their previous Secret Realm runs, he had fought to his heart’s content, and now, being granted permission to rampage and slaughter freely again, his true nature could be completely unleashed.

Upon coming out, Bao Bao immediately opened his maw and unleashed a Wrath of the Storm towards the gang’s encampment below. Countless lightning bolts descended from Heaven, bombarding the camp.

Instantly, anguished screams erupted from below as gang members fled in panic.

“What’s happening!? Who’s attacking our gang!?”

“Look up! There’s a Giant Dragon in the sky! Heaven, how could such a powerful creature appear in a place like this!? And why is it assaulting our gang!?”

“This isn’t the time to ponder over such questions! Run! That Giant Dragon is too strong! Our Fourth Profession Players were obliterated in a single exchange.”

“We really need to flee! Bloody Hell, have we committed too many evil deeds and are now suffering Heaven’s retribution?”

“What good does fleeing do? That Dragon is too powerful! A single Dragon Breath nearly annihilated our entire base with lightning. Who can escape!? We should join forces and slay this Dragon. That’s our only chance of survival!”

Below, chaos reigned. Some fled in blind panic while others, recognising that mere escape likely would not spare them, resisted.

Consequently, numerous gang members possessing aerial combat capabilities spontaneously organised themselves and launched counterattacks.

Unfortunately, their strength proved too weak. Compared to Bao Bao, the disparity was astronomical.

Their attacks could not even reach Bao Bao before being shredded by Lightning Vortex.

Moreover, anyone who dared attack Bao Bao received special attention, a Heaven’s Punishment would descend, reducing them to ashes.

In essence, facing absolute power, these Second and Third Profession Players possessed no capacity for resistance whatsoever. They were crushed with overwhelming force.

Only a fortunate few, those with swift reactions, High Agility, or Random Teleport Scrolls, managed to escape the catastrophe and avoid death.

The vast majority perished here, their fates intertwined with the base itself, reduced to smoke and dust.

From start to finish, Lu Fan’s annihilation of this gang required merely five minutes.

Lu Fan glanced towards another direction, where flames already rose from another gang’s territory, painting the sky crimson.

Clearly, Ning Shuang’er had also started.

However, her capabilities could not be compared to Lu Fan’s. Truly eradicating a gang would require considerable time from her.

Lu Fan did not invest much attention to Ning Shuang’er’s situation, instead he proceeded with Bao Bao towards the next gang’s territory.

Ten minutes later, the second gang was reduced to ashes, ceasing to exist.

When Lu Fan arrived at the third gang’s location, he discovered its members appeared to have received prior intel. They were already organising personnel for a mass evacuation.

Evidently, this gang had learnt that besides the Heavenly Dragon Gang, all other gangs had been systematically eliminated by some expert. Deducing they would face the same fate today, they planned to flee before the enemy arrived.

Unfortunately, their evacuation was too slow.

Upon Lu Fan’s arrival, he immediately ordered Bao Bao to attack, unleashing another wave of slaughter.

Although the third gang evacuated in advance, with over a hundred members escaping, the majority of their effective forces were still completely eliminated by Lu Fan.

Those hundred-odd escapees theoretically should not pose a significant threat to the Heavenly Dragon Gang.

If Cui Ziyi could not establish dominance over Southern Black Port under these circumstances, then that would be the result of her lacking capabilities.

Furthermore, with the Summoning Scroll that Ning Shuang’er left for her, Cui Ziyi would inevitably be elevated to Southern Black Port’s leadership position.

Having completed his goal, Lu Fan did not linger, instead returning directly to his agreed meeting point with Ning Shuang’er.

Upon Lu Fan’s arrival, Ning Shuang’er had already arrived as well. Clearly, matters on her end had also proceeded smoothly.

Both of them were true experts among Players. In Southern Black Port, a place lacking Level 100 experts, were they not free to massacre as they pleased?

With this, Southern Black Port’s affairs reached a complete resolution.

“Let’s go. To my Territory, then back to Dragon Capital University.” Lu Fan beckoned Ning Shuang’er. Extending his hand, he summoned a Transport Array and led the way inside.

Ning Shuang’er nodded before flying in as well.

Accompanied by a pulling sensation, both arrived at Shadow Isle one after another.

Upon reaching Shadow Isle, Ning Shuang’er was utterly astounded.

This was her first visit to Lu Fan’s Territory. Witnessing such vast territorial expanse left her shocked beyond measure.

“This… this is your Territory?! It’s enormous…”

“Are those Magic Crystal Cannons? Epic Grade Magic Crystal Cannons, at the very least. Even the atmosphere here contains an extraordinarily amount of pure Life Essence. Just by being here, I can sense my strength gradually increasing.”

“That spring radiating a golden light must possess some miraculous properties.”

“Wait! Are those flying creatures actually Giant Dragons!? Your Giant Dragons were all obtained from here!?”

Even the well-travelled Ning Shuang’er temporarily resembled a child seeing the world for the first time; her eyes inadequate to absorb everything.

She was especially dumbstruck when she saw Flame Dragon returning from a hunt, soaring overhead.

This marked her first encounter with Giant Dragons beyond Lu Fan’s Pet Dragons. Naturally, she assumed Lu Fan’s Pet Dragons all originated from this island.
