Flash Marriage: Pampered by Mr.Bigshot

Chapter 497: Chapter 496 Your Husband is Here

Thinking about this, the smile on Owen Lewis’ face vanished again.

If Annie Davidson returned to the Davidson Martial Arts Academy, did it mean she was really angry?

Upon this thought, he ignored Nia Mitchell, who was gazing at him strangely from a distance, and immediately left.

「Davidson Martial Arts Academy」

Annie Davidson was sitting in the courtyard watching her junior disciples practicing martial arts, sighing as she tossed a plum into her mouth.

”Grandpa, I’ve told you, I won’t marry him.”

Annie sighed, turning her head to look at her grandfather.

”This was a marriage decided for you since you were a child. How can you back out?”

Annie looked at her grandfather’s stubborn expression and lowered her head.

”I’m already married to someone else.”

She suddenly confessed. She knew she couldn’t hide what had happened with Owen Lewis.

”What!?”

Her grandfather abruptly stood up, his face full of fury.

”Say that again!”

Her grandfather roared, slamming his hand down and splintering the wooden table in front of him.

Annie was startled and jumped up from her chair.

All the disciples in the courtyard stopped their practice, looking towards them in shock.

What’s wrong with Eldest Senior Sister? She just returned and already made the School Leader angry.

”What am I afraid to say? I’ve already married someone else. I’m already married.”

Annie stood there, her fiery temper a mirror image of her grandfather’s.

”You... you... you’re trying to anger me to death!”

Her grandfather trembled with anger. This marriage had been arranged for so many years! Back when she was young, immature, and did things like running away from home, he had been able to turn a blind eye. After all, she had eventually returned. He had even thought her return meant she’d come to her senses and was ready for the wedding. But as it turned out, she had actually... actually...

”Are you lying to me? What kind of ridiculous trick is this? The marriage certificate! Where’s the marriage certificate?”

Despite his old age, her grandfather was quick-witted.

The mention of a marriage certificate completely stumped Annie.

”We held a ceremony and had a honeymoon. We came back this time to register the marriage.”

After hearing this, her grandfather completely stopped believing her.

”I almost forgot! Your household registration book is still at home. What certificate do you think you can get?”

When she ran away from home all those years ago, she didn’t take that with her.

Annie was at a loss for words. Just as she was about to speak, a junior disciple suddenly ran over.

”School Leader, Eldest Senior Sister! There’s a man outside... he says... he says he’s Eldest Senior Sister’s husband.”

The junior disciple stammered, hardly believing that their Eldest Senior Sister was actually married.

”What!?”

Grandfather was completely shocked. What the heck? What the heck? Husband? Damn it, where did this brat spring from?

”All disciples, assemble! Let him in!”

Owen Lewis, dressed in a tailored suit with shoes polished to a shine, stood outside and frowned.

Judging by that disciple’s reaction, Annie really was at the Davidson Martial Arts Academy. But was that incident really so unforgivable? Annie was actually serious.

”Uh... The School Leader says to let you in.”

The junior disciple ran back in and swallowed hard.

It had been a long time since the academy had witnessed such a grand display. The atmosphere was simply... simply... too terrifying! The last time there was such a formation was when some reckless fool came to challenge the academy. That person ended up in the hospital for a full six months. I hope this man... who claims to be Eldest Senior Sister’s husband, can withstand the School Leader’s... let’s call it a test. But, looking at this man’s build, he doesn’t seem like a martial artist at all.
