Flash Marriage: Pampered by Mr.Bigshot

Chapter 478: Chapter 477: She is with Me

Upon hearing Yancy Hastings’ words, Maxwell Peary immediately furrowed his brow.

What the hell is Yancy’s wife up to now? Oh, wait, he doesn’t even seem to have a wife.

”If I hear you say that again, I’ll smash all your teeth.”

What does he mean, ’causing trouble’? My wife is doing great.

HISS.

Hearing this, Yancy Hastings felt as if all his teeth were aching. What a malicious friend.

”It’s not yet certain whose teeth will get smashed.”

Maxwell Peary is indeed skilled, but he’s a businessman. I, on the other hand, have been receiving formal, militarized training in the Army, and my skills aren’t bad either. Truth be told, if we were to fight, the outcome would genuinely be uncertain.

Maxwell Peary didn’t want to waste time on pointless banter; there were important matters to attend to.

”Help me find Fiona Sutton. You should know her.”

Rabina Mitchell had told him about Lotus Residence before, so Yancy Hastings had indeed met Fiona Sutton.

”Fiona Sutton? She’s right here with me.”

Yancy Hastings hadn’t expected Maxwell Peary to be calling him about this. He turned his head to look at the woman lying beside him.

Fiona Sutton was curled up next to him, her head pillowed on his left arm, one pale arm exposed outside the covers. Her skin above the collarbone was bare, revealing faint pink blushes. If one were to sniff carefully, the lingering scent of passion could still be detected in the room.

Maxwell Peary was silent for a moment, then hung up without another word.

Hearing the dial tone, Yancy Hastings placed his phone back on the bedside table and looked down at Fiona Sutton, who was sleeping soundly.

Perhaps she was too exhausted from last night; she didn’t even stir despite the loud phone conversation.

He reached out, tucked the corner of the blanket around her, and gazed at her sleeping face, lost in thought.

This fiery, unruly, and rather unfeminine woman could also have such quiet moments. Just looking at her face, who would imagine she was capable of strapping on explosives and blowing things sky-high?

Thinking of her usual personality, a faint smile touched his resolute features.

Perhaps his gaze was too intense. Fiona Sutton frowned uncomfortably in her sleep and her arm twitched.

So tired.

Fiona Sutton lay on the bed in a daze, with no desire to open her eyes.

But the large, soft, smooth bed told her she wasn’t in her Dormitory.

Realizing this, her eyes snapped open.

The first thing she saw upon opening her eyes was Yancy Hastings lying beside her, an arm around her body, his gaze intensely fixed on her.

GASP!

Startled, Fiona Sutton immediately scooted backward, forcefully pulling the blanket up to cover herself.

Her backward movement yanked the blanket off Yancy Hastings.

His toned, honey-colored physique was suddenly exposed, and Yancy Hastings frowned in annoyance.

”Ah! Pervert!”

Fiona Sutton’s gaze traveled down from his Adam’s apple, over his firm muscles, his eight-pack abs...

Yancy Hastings felt a little embarrassed himself; after all, he’d never been so exposed in front of someone before.

His first instinct was to find clothes, but Fiona Sutton had reacted even faster.

Seeing that she had covered her eyes, he no longer felt an urgent need to dress.

So, intending to tease her, he slowly reached out to tug at her blanket.

”What do you think you’re doing?!”

Fiona Sutton, still covering her eyes, felt him tugging at her blanket and immediately bristled.

Yancy Hastings smirked. ”If you don’t let me have some of the blanket, how am I supposed to cover myself?”

After he spoke, Fiona Sutton, without thinking, shifted over a little, conceding a third of the blanket to him.
