Invincible Little School Doctor

Chapter 545: Chapter 544: Seeking Sponsorship

Ye Haochuan turned his head and saw that it was none other than Su Yingxue, whom he hadn’t seen for a long while.

Next to her sat a rather handsome young man, sporting a youthful charm, and Ye Haochuan didn’t know who he was.

Having not seen Yingxue these past few days, Ye Haochuan walked over and teased her with a smile, ”It’s been a while, hasn’t it, Yingxue?”

”Yes, Brother Ye, it really has been a long time.” Su Yingxue looked at him with a blush, her embarrassment as charming as a begonia waking from its spring sleep, sending a flutter through the heart.

”Right, what brings you here today? Don’t tell me you came especially to support old Brother Ye’s event?” Ye Haochuan asked, laughing.

”Indeed, I came here today just for that. I’ve heard long ago that the Ye Family Medicinal Cuisine Shop is under your name,” said Su Yingxue with a slight smile.

”Great, great, it’s good to see your support! By the way, where’s Ziyi? Didn’t she come with you?” Ye Haochuan had missed Zhang Ziyi a bit, having not been around her for a few days.

”There was a bit of trouble at Ziyi’s home, and she took leave from school to go back yesterday,” Su Yingxue explained.

”Oh, I see,” Ye Haochuan nodded, thinking to himself that it explained why he hadn’t been able to reach Zhang Ziyi’s phone since he had returned from the Sub-Fire Dimension Realm.

Thinking this, Ye Haochuan felt somewhat reassured.

”What medicinal cuisines would you like to order? How about some Kidney-nourishing and Yang-strengthening soup? This stuff is really nourishing...” Ye Haochuan chuckled.

Brother Ye really, what does a girl need with kidney nourishments and Yang strengthening?

Su Yingxue’s face turned red, and, not knowing what to say, it was the young man next to her who couldn’t help but interrupt.

He was one of Su Yingxue’s suitors, and to win her heart, he had always put in a great deal of effort. Somehow, Su Yingxue just wasn’t interested in him, which gave him quite a headache.

Today, coincidentally, he had learned from one of Su Yingxue’s classmates that she would be visiting their old school canteen, which he initially thought was for improving their meals, only to find out that she was here to order medicinal cuisines.

”Yingxue, who is he...?” the young admirer finally spoke up.

”He’s Doctor Ye Haochuan from our school hospital. His medical skills are quite impressive,” Su Yingxue explained softly.

”Oh,” the young man nodded, his expression not showing much concern.

In his view, Ye Haochuan was just a mere school hospital doctor, not even close to worth comparing to himself; thus, he didn’t really take Ye Haochuan seriously.

”Brother Ye, he’s a senior I met in the music club, named Luo Wenhao.” Su Yingxue introduced the young man to Ye Haochuan.

”Nice to meet you,” Ye Haochuan, having noticed the young man’s slight disdain, didn’t extend much warmth either.

Luo Wenhao, however, acted arrogant, merely nodding his head without saying much else. Instead, he urged Su Yingxue, ”By the way, Yingxue, didn’t you say there was something to take care of with the music club? Let’s finish the medicinal cuisine quickly and head out.”

Su Yingxue gave Ye Haochuan a meaningful look, seemingly hesitant to speak.

Ye Haochuan watched, puzzled, wondering, ”What is Yingxue trying to imply? Could it be that she needs my help?”

Thinking of this, he directly asked, ”Yingxue, you didn’t come today just to support me, did you?”

Su Yingxue smiled lightly and said, ”Brother Ye is sharp, seeing right through what I was thinking. I’m here indeed to ask for your help with another matter.”

”Oh?”

Ye Haochuan nodded unexpectedly, That’s right, what support are you talking about? I didn’t even notify you, what support are you referring to?

”Brother Ye, if you are not too busy, could we sit down and talk?” Su Yingxue asked with hopeful eyes.

Seeing her serious request, Ye Haochuan couldn’t refuse and sat down. He said, ”Yingxue, if there’s something you need my help with, just say it. If it’s about seeing a doctor, you can count on me.”

At this point, he looked her up and down and saw that she seemed perfectly healthy, with no signs of illness.

”However, Yingxue, you look quite healthy to me, it seems you don’t need me to treat you for any illness,” Ye Haochuan said doubtfully, then glanced at Luo Wenhao, ”Could it be that he’s ill?”

When he bluntly said he was ill, Luo Wenhao was quite displeased and snorted, ”What are you saying? You’re the one who’s sick!”

Seeing this, Su Yingxue hurriedly explained, ”Senior Brother Luo, Brother Ye didn’t mean that. He was saying you might be physically ill, nothing else...”

”Oh.” Luo Wenhao then looked a bit more appeased, however, seeing his beloved defending Ye Haochuan, no matter how magnanimous he was, he felt somewhat uncomfortable.

He was no fool, he had been watching secretly and noticed that Su Yingxue behaved differently when she was around Ye Haochuan, looking shy and flirtatious, which was heart-stirring.

He even couldn’t help thinking, his beloved couldn’t possibly be interested in such a minor school doctor, could she?

Thinking of this, his disdain for Ye Haochuan started to waver, especially seeing that this youngster, although of an ordinary background, was more handsome than himself and had a manly robustness, which made him even more wary.

Of course, Ye Haochuan was unaware of Luo Wenhao’s wary feelings toward him. He said to Su Yingxue, ”Yingxue, what exactly is it? Just speak freely.”

”Actually, this time I came to you, Brother Ye, because there’s a somewhat difficult matter for which I need your help.” As she spoke, Su Yingxue couldn’t help but lower her head, suggesting that this was indeed very hard for her to say out loud. Otherwise, being as generous as she was, she wouldn’t have appeared so embarrassed.

Seeing her hesitating, Ye Haochuan wondered what was wrong with this girl. Could it be a spring fever, asking me, Young Master, to introduce a boyfriend to her? But doesn’t she already have a suitor? Could it be that this young man doesn’t satisfy her?

”Yingxue, just speak frankly. Who are we if not close?” Ye Haochuan said with a smile.

”It’s like this, Brother Ye, I came here to ask you to help me with some sponsorship,” Su Yingxue said awkwardly.

To ask for sponsorship?

Ye Haochuan instantly understood, Damn, what sponsorship, just say you need money!

However, he soon became puzzled again. You, Su Yingxue, can afford to live in a luxury female dormitory like Building No. 7, which shows that you are quite well-off. Just taking out a bit of money would be enough for the sponsorship, so why lower yourself to ask this young master for help?

Just then, Luo Wenhao suddenly spoke up incredulously, ”Yingxue, if you need sponsorship, you could have just asked me. Just tell me how much you need, and I’ll transfer it to you right away.”

Seeing Luo Wenhao’s extravagantly generous demeanor, Ye Haochuan rolled his eyes. Truly the last of a foolish breed. If she’s not asking you for sponsorship, there must be a reason. What are you wasting your breath for?
