Chapter 505: Chapter 504 Fire Dragon Grass Seeds

Seeing Su Zehao react so strongly, Ye Haochuan chuckled secretly to himself and said earnestly, ”Do I look like I’m joking?”

”If someone has to play the part, why not you do it?” Su Zehao said irritably.

”To be honest, Brother Zehao, you’re the only one cut out for this job,” Ye Haochuan said in a tone that brooked no argument.

”Are you kidding me? Why is it fine if I go, but not you?” Remembering the hideous appearance of the Yasha, Su Zehao, who was a bit of a clean freak, instinctively felt some psychological resistance.

”Pfft, you think I’m here to twiddle my thumbs? Let me tell you, I’ve undertaken the most dangerous task.”

Noticing Su Zehao’s bewildered look, Ye Haochuan continued to explain, ”You’re just going to attract other Yasha over, but I have to risk my life to pick the seeds of the Fire Dragon Grass. If this Yasha that’s about to metamorphose into an Asura notices me, won’t she fight me to the death? I might not even be able to escape if I want to.”

After staring at him intently for a while and feeling that he wasn’t lying, Su Zehao finally said, ”But even if I were to disguise as a Male Yaksha, would those Yasha believe it?”

Ye Haochuan took out a sealed wooden box and said solemnly, ”These are mature Male Yaksha droppings I’ve collected along the way. When you get close to the other Yasha, just sprinkle some, and when they smell it, they’ll go into heat and madly pounce towards you. Then you just run, keep running and scattering the droppings; they’ll surely come after you.”

Only now did Su Zehao understand his intention and then said, ”This way, they’ll invade the territory of the Yasha about to turn into an Asura, and they’re likely to fight each other fiercely. In the chaos, you can take the opportunity to pick the seeds of the Fire Dragon Grass, right?”

”Exactly!” Ye Haochuan replied proudly.

”Alright, I’ll do it,” said Su Zehao, extending his hand.

Ye Haochuan immediately handed over the wooden box.

Taking the wooden box, Su Zehao disappeared in a flash, and Ye Haochuan patiently waited for a while before he heard roars not far away. Peering over, he saw that behind Su Zehao, two Yasha were chasing him like madwomen.

However, since they were still at a distance, Su Zehao could cope with them easily.

Meanwhile, Ye Haochuan noticed that the Yasha resting near the Fire Dragon Grass with seeds had also sensed something amiss and woke up, looking around vigilantly.

After a while, Su Zehao finally led the two Yasha into her territory, instantly enraging her. She flashed forward, running on all fours, and turned into a black streak lunging towards the invaders of her territory.

Under normal circumstances, upon encountering a Male Yaksha, she would go into heat like the other Yasha, but since she was about to metamorphose into an Asura, she had no interest in such matters. Anyone who invaded her territory would face death.

Keeping an eye on this Yasha, Su Zehao saw her charging at him, quickly dumped the droppings from the box onto the ground, and then made a run for it.

It had to be said, the intelligence of Yasha monsters was indeed too low.

The two Yasha behind him had caught up by now. They smelled the strong odor of the droppings but lost the ”Male Yaksha” they were after, both looking a bit confused. Just as they were preparing to disperse and retreat, the thoroughly infuriated Yasha suddenly roared and fiercely pounced on them, attempting to drive the intruders out of her territory.

The two intruders faced the charge as if facing a formidable enemy, and a fight broke out with the enraged Yasha.

For a time, the area was filled with the fierce winds created by the three Yasha, and their incredibly fast afterimages were everywhere!

But after all, it was a Yasha about to metamorphose into an Asura. Defending against two opponents in her territory, she didn’t seem to be at any disadvantage.

Such an exciting struggle was unfolding, but unfortunately, Ye Haochuan had no interest in watching. At the moment, he had to pick the seeds of the Fire Dragon Grass as quickly as possible and then make a swift escape.

Hurriedly arriving at the Fire Dragon Grass that stood as tall as a person, Ye Haochuan frantically harvested the seeds and threw each one directly into his storage ring as soon as he plucked them.

However, after having harvested just a dozen or so, the two invading Yasha were driven away, and the Yasha that had defended its territory victoriously discovered his presence, furiously enraged, it bellowed and lunged towards him.

Ye Haochuan was startled, not daring to stay put, he quickly fled.

But this Yasha’s cultivation was far above his, and in the blink of an eye, it caught up to him.

In the midst of the cackling laughter, the Yasha had already swiped her formidable claw towards his forehead, a fierce wind carrying Gang Qi grazed his cheek, so painfully sharp it felt like a knife cut.

Hiss!

In the midst of the chaos, Ye Haochuan brought out his Ice Soul Sword and struck at the claw.

Instantly, the sword emitted a chilling brilliance. The Yasha, feeling the bone-piercing Cold Qi spread over it, instinctively shrank back.

The Ice Soul Sword, being an extremely cold object, and the Yasha, having lived in this scorching environment for years and become adapted to it, had developed a fear of anything bitterly cold.

Thus, Ye Haochuan was fortunate to survive under her claw.

However, he dared not engage in battle with the Yasha. Still in shock, he took a deep breath and fled at breakneck speed.

The Yasha saw all the seeds on the Fire Dragon Grass had been plucked by him and wouldn’t let him go easily, closely pursuing him.

Nevertheless, because Ye Haochuan had the Ice Soul Sword in his hand, the Yasha was somewhat wary and didn’t dare to directly touch the sword, merely continuously swiping her claws in a Chaotic Dance, attempting to harm Ye Haochuan with the resulting Gang Qi.

In fact, Ye Haochuan, being a mere disciple from the Ancient Martial Arts Sect in the Postnatal Realm, couldn’t possibly withstand the Gang Qi and soon had injuries all over his body. If it hadn’t been for the Golden Silk Soft Armor, a magic artifact, his internal organs might’ve ruptured from the relentless assaults of Gang Qi from behind him.

Fortunately, Su Zehao also hurried over to assist, continuously employing treasures of the Institute of Extensive Learning to delay the Yasha’s attacks on Ye Haochuan.

The two cooperated with and covered for each other, retreating as they fought, and finally made it back to the iron chains.

”You’re injured, you go first, I’ll hold off this Yasha,” Su Zehao said.

Ye Haochuan didn’t hesitate, handing the Ice Soul Sword to Su Zehao, he said, ”That Yasha is a bit frightened of the Ice Soul Sword, you take it, it can fend her off for a while, remember, be careful.”

Having said that, he leaped onto the iron chain, making his way towards the shore of the Lava Lake.

Su Zehao followed after a short while.

Ye Haochuan saw it clearly, his clothes were torn in many places, and his injuries were not minor, he asked with concern, ”How is it? Are you all right?”

”This Yasha is incredibly fierce. Luckily I had the Ice Soul Sword, otherwise I really couldn’t have repelled her,” Su Zehao said with lingering fear.

Just then, the iron chain beneath their feet suddenly started shaking violently.

Ye Haochuan and Su Zehao both exclaimed, ”Careful!”
