Invincible Little School Doctor

Chapter 194: Chapter 194: Reconciliation

Haimie looked at Ye Haochuan with a resentful gaze, noticing his expressionless face that showed not a glimmer of desire, a stark contrast to the man she’d known before, leaving Chen Yushan with mixed emotions.

She wanted to ask him why he couldn’t just love her alone, why he had to covet others while enjoying what’s in his bowl, but as the words reached her lips, she hesitated, stopping herself from speaking.

This feeling was like the pure relationship between a medical practitioner and a patient, truly leaving her both entangled and conflicted.

”Rest assured, Officer Chen, I won’t take advantage of you like I did before. You can keep your clothes on, but, your bra must come off, or it will affect the treatment,” he said indifferently, making it hard to discern any real thoughts in his heart.

Hearing this, Chen Yushan felt as if her heart was being torn apart, reaching the peak of her distress as she bit her lip and couldn’t help but say, ”Ye Haochuan, how can you be so selfish? Am I, Chen Yushan, really not good enough for you that you must pursue other women?”

Her words were akin to an indirect confession of her feelings for him.

Given her forthright and strong character, admitting these feelings was already a significant concession.

It had to be said that Ye Haochuan was somewhat moved, but it was truly difficult for him to change from being a man of many passions to one of single-minded devotion, despite his deep love for the bewitching Chen Yushan.

”Officer Chen, I admit I am very selfish, but asking me to give up other women is also hard for me. To tell you the truth, Xiao Haimei is also my woman. Last night, we became involved, and while part of it was because I saved her and she chose to repay me, we do care deeply for each other...” he confessed.

As Chen Yushan heard him acknowledge his relationship with Xiao Haimei, her delicate body shuddered, and tears uncontrollably began to slide down her cheeks, ”All men are the same, you included; I was mistaken about you, always looking at the next best thing while having a meal in front of you.”

”You haven’t misunderstood me; at least I won’t lie to you. If it weren’t so, I would not have told you the truth so soon. Another man might wait until ’the rice is fully cooked,’ securing you before revealing his other pursuits, but I, Ye Haochuan, am not like that, because I genuinely don’t want to hurt you or your family,” he said after pausing.

Then, Ye Haochuan continued, ”However, I am no saint, nor Liu Xiahui. I cannot be ruthless or unfeeling towards the women who love me deeply, and considering that Xiao Haimei and I have already taken that step in our relationship, between you and her, I can only be more inclined to choose her, unless you’re willing to accept her and be with her as my woman.”

”Be with her as your woman?”

Chen Yushan muttered to herself, her face filled with reluctance. Why did the man I fancy have to be shared with another woman?

”Yes, be with her as my woman,” Ye Haochuan said solemnly, without the earlier extravagance, ”I, Ye Haochuan, may not promise much else, but I can sincerely say that I am genuine with my women...”

”How can you be sincere when you have at least two women sharing your love?” Chen Yushan couldn’t hold back any longer and cried aloud.

As she cried, her lovely body convulsed, and even the usually composed Ye Haochuan couldn’t help but feel his heart stir, but he knew he had to be patient or all his efforts would be in vain.

It turned out, the demeanor he’d shown earlier was just an act, designed to win Chen Yushan’s acceptance through a tale of sorrow. With a woman as exceptional as Chen Yushan, how could Ye Haochuan let her slip away so easily?

Therefore, from the moment he stepped out of the room, he hadn’t left but was racking his brains for a strategy. The only way he could mend their relationship was to cure the stubborn illness in Chen Yushan’s chest.

There were many capable of healing her in the world, but with her family’s social circle, they were unlikely to find a suitable medical practitioner. Only he was the most fitting choice for her treatment.

”How could it be impossible to be genuine? I, Ye Haochuan, may have many lovers, but I am not promiscuous. And for my women, I will strive to treat them all equally,” Ye Haochuan asserted.

”Treat them all equally? Is that really possible?” Chen Yushan seemed to show some signs of wavering.

Ye Haochuan spoke tenderly, ”Yushan, although I usually seem carefree and flirtatious, I am not without principles or bottom lines. Even if you don’t trust me, don’t you want to give me a chance to see if we can develop something?”

”This...” Chen Yushan was caught in a conflict.

Seeing this, Ye Haochuan reached out and took her small hand, seizing the moment with emotion-filled eyes, ”Yushan, actually, I know you have me in your heart. Do you really have the heart to give up on my love for you?”

Hearing his confession, Chen Yushan was utterly disoriented, ”I... I don’t know, I really don’t know... Mmm!”

What happened was that Ye Haochuan went for it, bent down, pulled her into his embrace, and gave her a bold kiss.

At that moment, Chen Yushan felt her mind go blank.

”Don’t, no...”

At first, Chen Yushan struggled fiercely, but gradually, she got lost in his passionate and uninhibited French kiss...

A few minutes later, their lips parted.

From the seductive look in her eyes, Ye Haochuan sensed a taste of attachment and couldn’t help feeling inwardly smug, damn, it wasn’t easy to win her over, but he finally managed it.

Indeed, the old saying proved true, with women, sometimes you have to take action when necessary. Being gentle isn’t enough; you also have to be a bit ruthless.

Sensing the smug look in his expression, Chen Yushan, moving away from her previous melancholy, reproachfully said, ”You jerk, really domineering. I hate you so much.”

Ye Haochuan held back a laugh, ”Deep love breeds deep hate, I get it.”

”You get nothing, you’re just deliberately tormenting me. I’m warning you, if you dare to let me down in the future, I won’t let it go, I’ll castrate you.” Chen Yushan looked fierce.

Damn, is there no other way besides castration? That’s too violent!

Ye Haochuan immediately vowed solemnly, ”If I dare to let you down, you won’t need to lift a finger, I’ll castrate myself. How about that? Are we good now?”

Chen Yushan then shyly nodded her head in agreement.

With the emotional knot untangled, the couple reconciled their differences and their relationship made rapid progress.

Ye Haochuan then continued to treat her...

More than ten minutes later, the two emerged intimately from the bedroom.

In the living room, Chen Jianguo and his wife Xue Caining, who had been looking worried, were first surprised and then relieved at the sight.

Chen Jianguo shook his head, stood up and said, ”Since you two have made your decision, I won’t say much else. But Haochuan, I’m warning you, no matter how many women you have around you, my daughter better not suffer the slightest grievance, or else, don’t blame me for fighting you to the death! Do you hear me?”
