Invincible Little School Doctor

Chapter 189: Chapter 189: Intimate Little Cotton-padded Jacket

In fact, Ye Haochuan’s thinking was spot on.

Suddenly slapped by the pregnant woman’s husband, Yu Haolin was completely dumbfounded, even stunned. He, a distinguished young doctor at Haishan People’s Hospital, had never suffered such humiliation.

What made it even harder for him to accept was the attitude of the pregnant woman’s family. They had been pleading with him meekly before, but now they turned hostile.

”You dare hit me?” Yu Haolin fiercely glared at the pregnant woman’s husband.

The pregnant woman’s husband shouted, ”Damn, so what if I hit you? You quack, you just said my wife was in mortal danger and couldn’t be saved. Now a mere school doctor revived her, hitting you is the least I could do! Get lost, stop embarrassing yourself!”

These words completely refuted Yu Haolin, leaving him speechless. As for fighting back, he didn’t dare.

The pregnant woman’s husband was tall and burly, and it would be easy for him to beat Yu Haolin up.

Seeing Yu Haolin in such a state, Ye Haochuan felt no pity; a doctor who only cared about his own interests and neglected the safety of patients deserved this punishment.

Of course, now that Yu Haolin had learned his lesson, Ye Haochuan wouldn’t kick him while he was down.

Firstly, it wasn’t in his character, and secondly, the pregnant woman had just sustained her life; saving her and the baby would require continued effort.

From his recent observation with Perspective Eyes, it was clear that the amniotic fluid had indeed ruptured, and the fetus was at immediate risk of asphyxiation. Considering the pregnant woman’s older age, an early delivery for the baby was essential, otherwise, the delay could endanger both mother and child.

Thinking this, Ye Haochuan then shared his thoughts with the pregnant woman and her husband.

”Divine Doctor, as long as you can save my child, I am willing to accept your plan,” the pregnant woman said weakly.

The husband of the pregnant woman agreed, ”Divine Doctor, I agree too.”

Ye Haochuan then activated his True Qi and slowly turned the pregnant woman into the delivery position.

Considering that the two female nurses from Haishan People’s Hospital were quite professional, Ye Haochuan specifically invited them to assist.

Both female nurses looked at Yu Haolin, who angrily said, ”You can’t help, absolutely not. What if something goes wrong? Wouldn’t our hospital have to be responsible then?”

”What did you say?” Ye Haochuan, upon hearing this, immediately became furious.

This Yu Haolin, simply unfit to be a doctor, how could he place personal grudges over a patient’s welfare? Moreover, this whole issue was his fault.

”Think carefully, your every action represents our Haishan People’s Hospital,” Yu Haolin snorted at the two nurses and then gave Ye Haochuan a provocative look.

Ye Haochuan shook his head, Yu Haolin continuing to be a doctor was simply an insult to this noble profession.

At this moment, Jiang Shuying, his female apprentice, again spoke up to help: ”Hey, I say Papaya, why aren’t you quickly zooming in on those three? Later we’ll let the netizens across the country see how the doctors and nurses of the prestigious Haishan People’s Hospital are so indifferent and ruthless...”

Papaya immediately aimed the camera at Yu Haolin and the two female nurses.

This move surely worked. Yu Haolin was so angry he clenched his teeth, and the two female nurses began to fear. If their negligent behavior was exposed, that would mean big trouble.

Luo Yong then shouted loudly, ”What are you two nurses hesitating for? We called you here for the woman’s smooth delivery. If you don’t act now, believe it or not, I will call your hospital leadership right now?”

As the chief of Haishan Police Station, he had the influence. Was he afraid that the small hospital leaders wouldn’t give him face?

The two female nurses looked at each other and then at Yu Haolin, whose face had turned extremely ugly. They ultimately decided to side with Ye Haochuan.

”That’s more like it.” Jiang Shuying then had Papaya put down the camera and winked at Ye Haochuan as if to take credit.

Ye Haochuan nodded with a smile, increasingly pleased with her performance, this girl was really like a warm jacket to her master, so considerate!

Over there, seeing two female nurses turn their backs on him, Yu Haolin felt powerless to stop them, and felt even more disgraced.

What irritated him even more was that he realized, at some point, his ex-girlfriend, Chen Yushan, had suddenly appeared behind Ye Haochuan, making him feel utterly humiliated, and his hatred for Ye Haochuan grew even more intense.

At that moment, Ye Haochuan was completely unaware that Chen Yushan was behind him, and after giving instructions to the two nurses, he busied himself preparing for the premature delivery.

Because it involved childbirth, Luo Yong had most people leave the room and closed the door.

Yu Haolin, feeling disgraced, also took the opportunity to slip out. Just as he passed by Chen Yushan, he gave her a deep look, but sadly, Chen Yushan, completely disappointed by her heartless and ungrateful ex-boyfriend, did not even glance at him.

Two minutes later, everything was ready.

The delivery was handed over to two experienced nurses, while Ye Haochuan held the pregnant woman’s hand, continuously transmitting True Qi to keep her from fainting from weakness.

”Big sister, take a deep breath, push hard...”

Following Ye Haochuan’s directions, the pregnant woman cooperated fully, and the two female nurses worked together seamlessly.

After about seven or eight minutes, along with the pregnant woman’s exhausted yells, a loud baby cry rang out in the room, the sound clear and strong.

The pregnant woman was so tired she almost passed out on the spot, but fortunately, Ye Haochuan continuously maintained her with Longevity True Qi, preventing her from fainting.

”It’s a boy!” the freckled nurse looked at the pregnant woman and announced.

Upon hearing this, the pregnant woman’s face was covered with a relieved smile.

The husband beside her also showed a face full of joy, holding his wife’s hand, tears streaming down his face, ”Wife, we finally have a child, thank you for your hard work.”

The pregnant woman nodded with tears in her eyes, but she was so weak that even speaking was difficult.

Ye Haochuan took out a Fasting Pill and gave it to her, which restored quite a bit of her strength.

By then, the two female nurses had already wrapped the newborn in a blanket prepared by the father, and handed it to him.

This middle-aged couple looked at their child, their faces showing happy smiles. Of course, they also repeatedly thanked Ye Haochuan and the two female nurses.

Jiang Shuying then opened the door jubilantly and announced the good news to everyone.

Applause immediately filled the room, with cheers for Ye Haochuan coming from all around.

Even Chen Yushan, who harbored resentment towards Ye Haochuan, now watched him with mixed feelings, her eyes filled with a thousand emotions yet also brimming with tenderness.

After declining the couple’s invitation to a future meal several times, Ye Haochuan, along with Chen Yushan, Jiang Shuying, and Papaya, left the room first.

”Master, I also want to learn medicine from you. You can’t refuse to teach me,” Jiang Shuying said once they were outside.

After observing several times, Ye Haochuan was very pleased with the performance of his new female apprentice and nodded with a smile, ”No problem.”

Jiang Shuying then smiled broadly, ”Then master, I won’t disturb you and the mistress’s romantic talk, I have to hurry back to the press to meet a deadline, see you tonight!”

With that, she briskly took off with Papaya.

What romantic talk? Mistress? This girl, she’s really cunning, she actually figured it out!

Ye Haochuan shook his head and glanced at Chen Yushan, who was also quite embarrassed, then chuckled, ”What do you think? Although my female apprentice is a bit flat-chested, she’s not bad, right?”
