Invincible Little School Doctor

Chapter 166: Chapter 166: No matter how awesome you are, you still have to kneel before this young master!

Apologize?

He Shuhua and Luo Yan faced each other, and after a short hesitation, the two women nodded.

”Nurse, we are sorry, it was our fault earlier. Please be generous and don’t hold it against us.”

He Shuhua was the first to apologize.

Luo Yan followed with a few more apologetic words.

By now, Han Xue’er’s foot injury had completely healed, and given her kind nature, she really wouldn’t hold a grudge. She waved her hand to show it was nothing, and she urged Ye Haochuan not to be harsh on them.

”Alright, for the sake of my colleague, I won’t make it difficult for you today.”

At this, Ye Haochuan pretended to open the drawer under his desk, but secretly took out a large box that held the Jadeite ring and placed it on the desk, saying, ”Here is three thousand yuan. Count it yourself. If there’s no problem, leave quickly.”

”Thank you, Mr. Ye.”

He Shuhua and Luo Yan were overjoyed. However, seeing such a large box, both women felt something was amiss.

When Han Xue’er saw Ye Haochuan’s softened attitude, she was very relieved. Yet, as she was about to leave to wash the mud off her feet, she heard He Shuhua suddenly exclaim, ”Coins?”

By this time, Luo Yan had come over, and seeing that the box was full of coins, she was stunned. Worst of all, the coins were almost entirely one-jiao coins.

Three thousand yuan, how many one-jiao coins would that be?

Thirty thousand coins!

Thirty thousand coins!!!

He Shuhua and Luo Yan looked at each other, both overwhelmed. With so many coins, how long would it take them to count them all?

On the other side, Han Xue’er found the situation strange and turned back to have a look. Seeing so many coins on the desk, she was first shocked, then speechless. Brother Ye really knew how to scheme.

”Mr. Ye, why is it all coins?” He Shuhua couldn’t help asking.

Luo Yan chimed in, ”Yes, Mr. Ye, if these were one yuan coins it would be somewhat better, but why are they all one-jiao coins?”

Seeing their frustrated expressions, Ye Haochuan felt amused and said, ”Aren’t coins also money? Alright, enough talk. Start counting. I have other things to do.”

Even though bullying two women felt somewhat improper, when he thought about how often he was frustrated at the bank lobby, he lost all his sympathy.

Damn it. Are banks so great? Before me, they still have to kneel.

”But, Mr. Ye, these aren’t the same coins you withdrew from our ATM last time, are they?” He Shuhua said, making a face.

Luo Yan agreed, ”Exactly, Mr. Ye, you are deliberately making it difficult for us.”

Ye Haochuan held back his laughter and said, ”Well, the money I withdrew wasn’t the money I originally deposited in your bank either!”

He Shuhua and Luo Yan were left speechless. One had to admit, Mr. Ye was cunning, but he was also really too mischievous.

Seeing this, Han Xue’er couldn’t stand it and gave him a disapproving look, saying, ”Brother Ye...”

Ye Haochuan waved his hand, not letting her finish. It was rare to catch an opportunity for revenge against the bank, and he had no intention of giving it up easily.

With no other choice, Han Xue’er just obediently closed her mouth, but watching the two female bank employees look so troubled, she couldn’t help but find it amusing. How much of a grudge must Brother Ye hold against the bank?

”Alright, you two take your time counting here, I’ve got things to do.”

Ye Haochuan gave Han Xue’er a look, and she had no choice but to follow him out of the office.

Once they were a bit away from the office, Han Xue’er covered her mouth and giggled, ”Brother Ye, you’re really too bad, are you doing this on purpose?”

”Of course, should I be kind instead?” Ye Haochuan curled his lip, a face of complaint, ”Every time I go to the bank, even though there are many customers in the hall and the bank could open more windows, they only open two, which is terribly inefficient. It makes me wait for an hour or two every time. This time, I finally got a chance for revenge. Let’s see if they dare to be smug next time.”

Han Xue’er giggled behind her hand, ”But Brother Ye, your method of revenge is a bit too... something, isn’t it?”

”There’s nothing I can do about it.” Ye Haochuan shrugged his shoulders, making a carefree gesture, ”I’m just someone who despises evil, got a problem with that? If you do, come bite me... Ah, Xue’er, don’t you still owe me a kiss? Come on, bite me and see.”

”Brother Ye, I really can’t stand you anymore...” Han Xue’er was hugely embarrassed, stamped her foot, and ran off like a shot.

This girl, she can’t handle it? It’s just a kiss from me. Hmph, if you arouse my interest, I’ll make you bite a banana instead!

Shaking his head, Ye Haochuan made his way towards Kou Jing’s office.

However, when he reached the door of Kou Jing’s office and found the door tightly closed, he thought Kou Jing was not inside and was about to leave, but he heard the faint sound of sobbing coming from inside the office.

Huh, there’s someone in the office!

Ye Haochuan felt curious and looked through with his ”Perspective Eyes” only to see Doctor Kou Jing, clad in a white lab coat, sobbing over her desk, looking utterly heartbroken.

Strange, why is she suddenly crying?

Driven by curiosity, Ye Haochuan knocked on the door, ”Doctor Kou, it’s Ye Haochuan. Could you open the door, please?”

Under the ”Perspective Eyes,” Kou Jing remained indifferent, continuing to cry on her desk. Ye Haochuan was really frustrated, ”What’s with this woman? Is she made of water? Crying non-stop, does it make any sense?”

With that thought, Ye Haochuan kept knocking.

Persistence finally paid off, and after a while, Kou Jing came to open the door.

However, after one glance at him, Kou Jing returned to her desk and started sobbing again.

”Hehe, Doctor Kou, did you encounter something upsetting? Share it, and let me have a laugh.”

Upon hearing this, Kou Jing immediately stopped sobbing, lifted her head, and glared at him with tearful eyes, ”What did you say?”

”Didn’t say much,” Ye Haochuan grinned, ”Just asking if something has made you unhappy? Come on, speak up, it’ll make you feel better.”

”Who do you think you are? Why should I tell you? Get out, get out...” Kou Jing was somewhat out of control.

Wow, she’s really fiery! Could it be her time of the month?

Ye Haochuan was not annoyed at all but chuckled and said, ”Doctor Kou, I can leave, but before I do, please process my reinstatement. Chairman Xiao has already given his verbal approval for me to return to work at the school infirmary.”

When work was mentioned, Kou Jing gradually calmed down, glared at him angrily, and began to work on the school infirmary personnel system at her computer. After a while, she said, ”Alright, the procedures are done. You can go now.”

”Alright.”

Ye Haochuan chuckled and turned to leave. Just as he reached the door, he suddenly turned around, smiling ambiguously, ”If I’m not mistaken, Doctor Kou, did you perhaps just get dumped by your boyfriend whom you’ve secretly dated for many years?”
